4 stars for now, will update once they come back. I don’t think I could say any more great things about Rick’s. They came out and gave an estimate for an entire install to include furnace, A/C, and duct work. There were some missteps with communication during the estimate and scheduling process, but Dylan and his crew were so respectful of our space. If they said they were working in the basement that day? They didn’t leave that area. Every day when they left you couldn’t really tell they were here. The day the job was finished Rick came out to chat and see how everything went. When we voiced our concerns even he said he didn’t like how certain things looked so they are being changed. We had a few things to complete on our end before the work can be finished, but all it’s going to take is a call to the office to schedule. Great experience overall so far and would definitely recommend.

Had such a great experience with Rick’s affordable heating and cooling. Our furnace broke and the same day they came out and fixed it. Justin was awesome and very knowledgeable, he helped us get on a special plan that would save us money in the future for duct inspection, duct cleaning, and yearly AC/heating tune ups. I’m very happy with the service from Justin and would recommend him to others

Jacob and Tyler were so nice and courteous. Professional and organized. Dealt with issues politely. This company is worth every affordable dollar. I will hire them to clean my vents and duct system in the spring.

I had Ted Cole stop over today just to answer some follow up questions. Ted is an awesome guy that helped me identify some efficiency issues and showed genuine care about my situation. He was informative and worked with my apartments maintenance people to save me even more money. Great people and I hope to keep working with them all.

Our furnace was out all day, and I called around 5:00 PM. Ted arrived very quickly and resolved the issue within an hour of being here. The prices were great! I will definitely recommend and use this company again in the future.

Your technician Jacob showed up on time, introduced himself, and went right to work. He answered all my questions and was efficient in his clean out of my dryer vent. Jacob had a great personality, was knowledgeable, and was great to work with!

Justin Locke from Rick’s Heating and Cooling was absolutely fantastic. He installed our thermostat today and went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up perfectly. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to clearly explain how everything works. On top of that, he was very friendly and professional. This was an excellent experience from start to finish, and I highly recommend both Justin and Rick’s Heating and Cooling!

From an emergency fix to full replacements they were great. Scheduling was easy and communication was excellent. Nate and Dylan were fantastic. They were timely, professional, and so nice. Not only the work but the pricing is fair. Even signed up for their maintenance program. Would highly recommend!

Losing heat in February in Ohio is not what anyone wants to deal with, luckily Rock and his guys were able to help us by installing a new furnace. Rick was out to evaluate the situation within hours of our call and the installation the very next day. We will definitely be using them for any needs in the future, everyone was polite and friendly with great service!

Ted Cole from Rick’s Affordable came to my home today for our semi- annual furnace check up and to replace an old AC Disconnect. I was so impressed with his work and the thorough job that he did that I plan on asking for him by name for any future HVAC work to be done in my home.

Ted came out for a cleaning turned into a diagnostic call, my furnace has been short cycling and I thought dirt may be the issue. However, upon assessment Ted could tell there was an issue and diagnosed it right away. My furnace is much too large for my house. He was very informative, giving different routes I could take to improve the current system however ultimately it's just too large a system for my space and will need replaced. Ted was kind, answered all my questions (and then some), and he was very happy to do so. Overall a really great experience thanks so much!

this will be a full in detail review of my experience with this company. I called them and explained what i needed and that was my dryer vent had been pulled out by another company in which they were paying for me to get repaired. i explained to them that there was a hole and i was concerned about rodents etc and air coming in i wanted this repair the schedule right away to come and mind you this was around holidays. so they sent out a young man and i was sleep my daughter came and told me that they gave her an estimate of 380 i told her to tell them ok go ahead . right when he was leaving i got up right in time i went down to basement and was in shock ! i asked what exactly did you do and how long were you hear he said 1 hour and 9 min. he said he cleaned debris and went to menards to get a clamp. i said sir this is not acceptable the job was no we’re near done! i have before and after.i demand to speak to his supervisor/owner. He agreed with me and told him to fix . in which at this point i was watching , i said this is not going to work he put cement around dryer vent no bracket no support . he assured me that it would . The very next day it all had slid down and buckled . i called so many times that i can’t keep track of. aHe sent out his son he came also agreed that this need to be repaired correctly. this was before christmas . i was told i need to wait till he heard back from repair person . nothing !!!! as if i were irritating them to get the job done Rught. i have made a complaint to Better Business Burea. and i have photos of everything from beginning to before they started to the mess they made . i will not just let a company take from ‘me 400. 00 also let me add the owner said if i didn’t mind giving a review he wouldn’t mind repairing . so initially i did i believe that they were going to do right by me . …… in my opinion they should have just said the truth we don’t do concrete work ! instead of taking job just for the money .However this customer will not just walk away i will take this to court if it’s the last thing i do ! i trusted the reviews and believed that there were a few good bussiness people left .

Ryland Stewart was our service technician. He was professional and very personable! He did great work and was very thorough about his job! Would highly recommend him!

I would definitely recommend these guys. Rick came out and was straight to the point. Very honest too. We did have them install a new one to. Ted and Braden came out to install and they were friendly and did a great job. Took them about 3.5hrs to install. They made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. These two guys were great and did a great job.

The experiemce with Rick's was amazing. Our technician, Justin Locke, came on time, was friendly, and got our furnace up and running in no time. The price was affordable and we were so pleased we decided to sign up for their service plan. Very pleased with everything.

Of course the furnace stops working on the coldest days of the year. Called yesterday and Justin was here that evening. He was very polite and helpful. Although he couldn't fix the problem right then, he diagnosed the issue, explained the problem, ordered the needed parts and made sure we were on the schedule first thing this morning. He made sure we knew he would not be able to return in the morning but let us know who would probably be the technician to come out. First thing this morning, Ted texted to let us know he was on his way. He was also very polite and helpful. Came in and had the furnace up and running in about 45 minutes. He had everything cleaned up and ready to go. We are very pleased with this company and both of these technicians and the work they completed. Thank you.

I heard about Rick’s Heating and Cooling from people I work with and was not disappointed with a recommendation! I lost heat on a Monday and had a brand new furnace (long overdue😩) installed the very next day! Big thanks to Rick the owner who was phenomenal and to his team that installed it: Tyler, Ryland, and Jacob! Cannot say enough about their professionalism, knowledge and customer service! From the staff working the front desk that answer your call to the team that comes out to do any type of repairs, this will be the third time I’ve used this company and will always recommend them to anybody! Highly recommend Rick’s Affordable Heating! Great service at a fair price. Ted Cole did a fantastic job making sure everything was in top shape and working as it should. He not only found the problem with chimney top, but also helped me while I was working with roofing company to get this part replaced.

I woke up and noticed my furnace wasn't working on a very cold February day. I called Rick's and someone was at my house by 2pm. He knew immediately what the issue was. He was back early the very next morning with the parts and the repair was quickly done. I have used Rick's for over 10 years and they have always taken really good care of us. Highly recommend!
