Had had technician come out to do diagnosis as to why furnace was not igniting was told needed any new heat exchanger or new furnace. That night I ordered a new pressure switch on Amazon for $15 the following day installed it. Furnace started right up no issues I was gonna pay $6400 for a heat exchanger I didn’t need. You need to be careful that you’re not being scammed.

What a great experience I had with Pickerington Heating & Cooling from service, sales to the install. My furnace stopped working during one of our coldest weeks. I called Pickerington Heating & Cooling and within 4 hrs the service tech, Jacob was at my door. My furnace was on its last leg. Jacob spent several hours during the initial service to address my concerns and answer all my questions. He was able to temporarily fix the furnace until I made my decision to either keep putting money into the furnace or purchase a new one. Not once did I feel pressured to purchase. Jacob was honest, knowledgeable and professional. He shared his company’s story and could tell he was proud to work with them.

Install day; I had 3 well trained installers: Kody, Cody and Shane. No typo there; 2 Cody’s. Talk about white glove service from the outside to the basement. You can’t even tell they were here except to see the new unit. Before leaving, they completed a thorough overview of the furnace, humidifier, filters and the importance of yearly maintenance.

Shortly after the installers left I received a call from Mary at the office to see how everything went.

I chose Pickerington Heating and Cooling 5 years ago to replace my unit. I had researched them. They had great reviews and were close in proximity. I have never been disappointed. Everyone is helpful and friendly. I was so pleased with my services that I recommended them to my parents. They too replaced their unit and have been pleased. A huge shout out to Eddie who comes yearly to service the unit. My parents and I both request that he personally maintains our system. We absolutely trust him with any recommendations .

I scheduled a furnace inspection/maintenance in November for early December. The morning of the appointment they called to reschedule due to emergencies. No problem, I rescheduled to early January. Again, the morning of the appointment they called to reschedule due to emergencies. This company has provided good service in the past, but rescheduling twice is a problem. I'll find another company to do business with.

My furnace stopped working I called and they came over quickly, friendly, pleasant, the technician that showed started first thing by trying to turn a spindle on motor with his vise grips, said my motor was out based on it being hesitant to turn, quoted me a price on the motor $500 i think?, I said let's do it, I left, he found me few min later and showed me pictures of inside, now it was the heat exchangers that were cracked, gave me a price on those, over 5K. So I'm looking at over $5,000 to have it repaired, he started talking about a new, I asked what are we looking at as far as price, told what my budget was, also said I didn't mind a lower end furnace. I was never told what furnace I was getting until they were here to install it. We agreed on price, $5500, they come and do the install, about 3 hours to complete, I receive the invoice, shows the retail price of the furnace to me at $7200, then follows with many, cash, managers discounts etc . to get me to my budget price.. I should have asked more questions and done research prior, but we had no heat and pressured to get done.. Putting the invoice away this morning had me curious, I go online and the furnace they installed retail, me buying and delivered, was $1700 to $2100 Max..I looked up install price for my area and it's $75 to$150 an hour, again 3 hours to install.. that's Max of $450 for installing. Total at this price is , retail, $2550, understand other costs, profit, etc, so let's add $1450 on so they stay in business.. we're at $4000, I googled average price for furnace install in Ohio and it's $4400, so we're about right.. I find out that their cost they have in this $7200 furnace is actually $1200 through the customer service rep.. at this point I'm feeling a little cheated, understand profit, but a $1200 furnace costing $5500? All prices with discounts came out to be exactly what my budget was? I'm an older man, was in a pressured situation with no heat.. I guess I should have received a few estimates, asked more questions and done my research. Way this was done left a bad taste.. was happy with service, quick, 2 days it was done.. just can't get past that $7200 furnace, that I could get for $1700.. I really felt like they helped me with the cost, until I didn't..

Michael speakman from Pickerington, heating and cooling did an awesome job. He was out here on November 14th, very attention to detail explain everything in detail. He was awesome. I highly recommend Pickerington heating and cooling. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. But as everyone knows in the reviews, you can only give 5 stars, but they deserve 10 stars awesome service.

Excellent customer service. Honest business practices. Fair pricing. I will definitely call them again or anything I need and I’ll tell my friends as well. I’m a very happy customer.

Honesty and transparency were lacking. The technician purposely didn't tell me prior how much it would cost for the inspection. Then, after inspection, he called out some amount. If they'll be TRANSPARENT, I would give 4 stars. Please tell customers how much it would cost before you start your work.

The first gentle man was nice and very helpful. I really appreciate that they were able to help me right away. The gentleman that did the installation was quick and nice also. I was thankful for the immediate help.

The technican was able to come out the same day. He was professional and considerate. He diagnosed the issue and presented me with several options. He did not pressure me to commit.

Nathan from Five Star came over to discuss my needs and set everything up for me! A couple of days later David and Conner came over to do the install. They did a terrific job, answered any questions and were very courteous and respectful of my home. If you have and hvac needs pls do yourself a favor and call Five Star first!

What an amazing interaction. He arrived ready to tackle my issue and within minutes was able to provide guidance to help get heat back into my home. Your employees are the reason I keep using your service.

Floyd and Ishmael were great and very knowledgeable. Floyd removed our old furnace and was able to improve on the previous installation. After being without heat for 5 days in frigid temperatures, it was great to hear the new furnace start and warm out house again. Great work!

Amazing all around. We called about our HVAC being down and they were able to squeeze us in last minute to figure out the issue. They were quick about diagnosis and unfortunately we needed a new system. They were so informative about their payment options and how the process would go. The installation was handled in a quick manner and was a very reasonable price! I would recommend their services to anyone needing HVAC work.

Big thanks to my friend Adam Elkins for helping me out in a pinch and replacing my sump pump. He showed up quickly and did a fantastic job. Always great to know someone reliable when you need it. Highly recommend!
