Update January 2026: Our gas water heater failed and started leaking. Another excellent experience with prompt service and a replacement of all necessary hardware and also necessary upgrades with the new water heater. Good pricing and great work. Highly encourage anyone to choose your local plumber over a large chain company. Highly recommend!

December 2025 Review: Prompt and fast service. John quickly identified the leak with our toilet and resolved the job in less than an hour after traveling across from a job on the West Side! Highly recommend and we will be utilizing him for any future plumbing repairs.

If owner of family-run business could care less about customer service, why bother?

Total rip off company. Saw I was in a desperate situation and preyed on that. Tried to charge 700$ to put in 2 bathroom faucets and said it will take 2 days or more with 2 plumbers...Really!!!??...terrible!!!

I was taken advantage of when I called them for service. When I realized what they did (which was legal but dishonest), I called and asked for a partial refund. I was offered, at an additional cost to me, a band aide attempt to fix a broken unit. I was offered good information about the unit, AFTER I had paid their service person. He should have told me before not after .
Poor business practices !!

Vanderwist has kept our furnace running, so we used them to replace a toilet, too. Service was on time, clean, and everything works great. Will definitely call again.

Our A/C quit at the beginning of the long Labor Day weekend. Since it's 15 years old, I feared replacement was going to be needed and didn't want to pay for a holiday service call to find this out. I contacted Vanderwist Tuesday morning. Their techs were here before noon, replaced a $50 part and got us running again.

I accidentally let my ancient boiler run out of water. The owner Tom came out immediately and helped me safely assess the situation. He knew what he was talking about and explained everything to me. Thanks to him I've been able to keep the old boiler limping along for now but I'll be using Vanderwist to replace it soon. He didn't even charge me for the call out.

Vanderwist replaced my forced air heating system in my almost 100 year old home. Service was fast, efficient, and professional. Tom was very helpful and kind in getting my home warm in November and working within my budget as a single mom. The furnace has been working beautifully for several years. Would highly recommend without reservations.

I used Vanderwist for the install of my hot water tank and also for a total replacement of my furnace and air conditioner which required a relocation of the ac unit. They did top notch work and were also extremely thorough and got to me fast! I liked that they had a multitude of services and offerings. Made for a nice one stop shop. I recommended to my mother who needed the same done and she was also very satisfied with their pricing, work, and speed to install.

The experience of having our home electrical system upgraded so we may use a 240volt power source to charge our new electric car was fantastic. They came in, did a thorough job estimating the work, and completed the job on time and within budget. I could not be happier with the great service. I would highly recommend them.

Josh Gilmore from Wilson plumbing, Heating, and Electric did an amazing job restoring the electrical system on the outside of my house including a new circuit panel box after tornadoes and high winds ripped everything down. Josh made sure everything was properly grounded so I was safe in my home. He also was very informative about any questions I had. Clean up was also part of their job which I was very happy about.

The installation went very well. Umesh and Jimmy were very courteous and respectful of my home. They really went above and beyond in making sure I understood the unit’s operation, warranty and wireless capabilities. I am extremely happy with my new A/C unit and with the excellent service provided by the technicians!

Omg, they were wonderful, Tim took care of the issue so fast it was amazing. Did great at explaining what was causing the issue and gave us an estimate for how to fix the issue. Extremely greatful they will work on mobile homes.

Brian Hughes, he explained everything to me in away that I understood what he was talking about. He was very pleasant and professional.

Friendly on time and answered all of my questions. Appeared to bextremely knowledgeable about their products.

Response was quick for scheduling of our estimate and service. Estimate was very clear as they took and shared photos of the work they would complete, as well as photos of the parts with their cost. I have never received a more itemized or detailed estimate. All companies should operate with this kind of transparency. When it came time for the work to be completed, Jose easily transitioned between projects as we had several being done that visit. He was quick, but efficient. It was easy to tell he is very skilled and knowledgeable. My husband even commented that we have never had a work project completed with so little mess left for us after. Before leaving, Jose did a walk through and also had photos so we could easily see all the projects were completed. We utilized their electrician skills, but now that we see the level of knowledge and professionalism they operate with, we will definitely utilize them for future heating/ plumbing projects. One last thing, when they send a text notifying you the technician is on the way, they also send a photo of the tech which I appreciate from a safety perspective.

Justin the technician was very knowledgeable, professional and fast the whole project was done in a timely fashion, also the staff on the phone line are very professional and responsive whenever I called, someone is always available to answer my questions and provide assistance, Kyle is also a great salesman very persistent and provided me the reason on why Wilson electrical services is the way to go! he really convinced me to go with you guys, He is knowledgeable and explained everything to me vividly. I will surely recommend Wilson electrical and plumbing services to anyone who needs electrical services completed.

If you get Annabelle as a tech, you better not cancel on her. You're not going to find a better one. Two thumbs up. My puppy would also give her two thumbs up if he had thumbs.
