Owen was very informative and clear on everything regarding the service needed. Before diagnosing that I needed a full replacement water tank, he took the time to look for any potential alternative issue that wouldn't require it (but I knew it probably did). He answered all my questions, the financing process was easy, and communication was great.

I cannot say enough amazing things about the service we received from Owen. From the moment he arrived, it was clear that he is not just a plumber — he is a master of his craft. He was punctual, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, and handled the repair with confidence and precision.

What stood out most was his attention to detail and the pride he clearly takes in his work. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was functioning perfectly, even addressing a couple of small concerns I hadn’t mentioned yet.

In a world where great service is hard to find, Owen was amazing. His customer service, skill level, and work ethic are exceptional and reflect incredibly well on the company. Employees like him are the reason customers come back and recommend your business to others.

He absolutely deserves recognition — and honestly, a raise. You don’t find professionals like him often.

Thank you again for sending such a stellar technician!

Andrew was so helpful and friendly, and spent a lot of time helping us resolve the issue of our frozen sewer line. He helped clean up afterwards, and explained the work he’d done and what we could do to prevent further issues. The site supervisor who came was also informative and helped us feel confident that our issue would be resolved. I appreciate how thorough and easy to work with everyone was. Our regular plumber was not able to fix our d frozen sewer line, and I’m so glad I called this company for backup. They did great work for a very reasonable price.

Brian and Rob arrived ahead of schedule. They were very professional and competent and had fantastic customer service skills. The price was reasonable for what they had to do. I would definitely use Free Flow again!

Free Flow came out the next day to fix our garbage disposal problem, which was appreciated because we were unable to use our kitchen sink. The repairmen were friendly, professional, and punctual and luckily had a new disposal with them to replace our bad one immediately. The whole operation took maybe an hour, and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend Free Flow to anyone and will definitely call on them again should we have plumbing problems in the future.

I would highly recommend Free Flow Plumbing for jobs big and small. We had a collapsed pipe, which required that our entire bathroom get torn up to replace. Jon, and everyone on the crew, was knowledgeable, professional and very competent. They did a great job from start to finish, while being transparent along the way.

Nick and Andy were so so helpful! We had a leaky waste water pipe in the basement and they came and fixed it asap - also replaced some old copper and lead piping that was problematic. They stayed working til it was all finished, which was wayy later than expected. Much appreciated!

Interaction with them was good and the job was completed quickly so there are 2 reasons for the 4 star and not 5.

    1. John would not give me even an idea of cost going into it
    2. I thought the price was high for the work that was done and the time it took.

After speaking with my father in law about the cost on parts I am figuring $275 - $325 in labor. Also I didn't appreciate the notes left on the invoice.

    Update:
After getting home after an 14 hour day and realizing that they really didn’t do a whole lot even put the faucet handles on backwards from what they were I’m dropping the rating. I really strongly feel that what we paid for the work that was done was quite high. We are talking almost attorney level hourly rates.

Also the text and email that came at the same time wanting feedback along with a text saying the job was completed a couple hours after the plumber left was annoying. This is the first time we have had to use a plumber and if we need one again I’ll be looking elsewhere.

    Update #2
John texted me this morning asking if I wanted him to come back out and reset those handles and I said no that I did it myself. I did say that I’d like a refund so that the rate was reflecting a fair price which turned into a whole big thing. I am now changing my review again to reflect my feelings about this company. My first impression was not a good one. In fact it was completely wrong. Now making excuses for $300 an hour for a plumber for a simple job saying the price was because his cost had gone up 40% over the last couple of years. Reality check everybody’s costs have gone over the last couple of years. After I said that I was done having the conversation I got another text from the plumber that was out with nothing other than “K“. I was not able to be home when the work was done and a family member saw the price, not realizing that they had not even given me a ballpark figure because it needed to be done. He approved it. But because it needed to be done and it was so bad, and these guys knew it they took advantage of it and charged a very high price. But ultimately, they’re the ones that have to sleep at night and look at themselves in the mirror. I can’t do that with my clients. I have to be fair and honest.

Do I ever regret trying to support a local company in my hometown.

    Update 3: 9/19/24
Since he can’t seem to let sleeping dogs lie. Being fully transparent and upfront on price is important. True costs are up but when I find the part on Home Depot’s website using the part# that was on the invoice and it was $15 and I am assuming that was for one side so let’s give the benefit of the doubt and say $35 in parts.

I’m sure you get discounts on parts any smart contractor does. I even expect that those parts get marked up a bit. However for an hours worth of work the price was completely unfair. Almost $400 for a job that took so little time is not fair pricing.

I've hired Free Flow Plumbing (FFP) for the past 1.5 years for all my plumbing needs. Their work is exceptional, bias for action admirable and counsel balanced/wise.

I recently hired them to look at a serious water issue that happened during the severe cold snap. I had a frozen pipe that backed up into an upstairs bathroom and down into my living room. Nick calmly and thoroughly investigated the issue and provided sage counsel, never selling me a service I didn't need. He also came back about a week later and determined a primary cause of the pipe freeze, added a water shut off valve and addressed a few other issues.

I've also hired FFP to install a new hot water heater, replace valves, future proof a new home, and address everyday plumbing needs. I trust Nick's counsel and appreciate that he answers my very basic questions with patience and respect.

If you're working with your insurance company on a claim, I encourage you to find out what kind of documentation your insurance company needs to process your claim, a report with images or just images. FFP is quick to respond to an emergency and keep client plumbing running well. Knowing insurance requirements upfront helps the process.

I highly recommend Free Flow Plumbing for all your plumbing needs!

John came out same day to investigate why our kitchen sink wasn't draining. Determined it was likely due to ice from the extreme cold weather (days later, once temps warned up, it started to drain, so his hunch re: cold weather was spot on). Was nice enough to check in to see if drain was working.

I was desperate to have my kitchen sink and disposal working. Free Flow Plumbing was willing to come first thing the following morning. He was neat and clean, and put everything back in their proper places.
I could also go on-and-on about his wonderful demeanor and how pleasant it was to have him working in my kitchen.

John came out & was both professional & thorough. He explained that the basement drain was backing up due to a clogged kitchen drain & was able to snake it & replace a pipe under our sink. Our daughter was also very happy with the work done by John a few years back when her basement drain was backing up. If we have any future plumbing issues, Free Flow is where we will go!

We have used Free Flow Plumbing for a few issues at our house. They are so personable, professional and knowledgeable. They are also quick to respond and show up. Have only but the best to say about this business.

Amazing is all I can say about this company. Was willing to come to my house at 10pm after seven inches of rain did my sump pump in. When flooded roads prevented arrival gave me advice for how to reset my sump pump so it would carry me through until morning when the flood water receded. The next morning contacted me without prompting and pump was replaced by noon. John was pleasant, personable, and considerate. What a great find in my moment of need!

Meanwhile my regular plumber was sleeping with an answering service....

I went on line to Free Flow Plumbing. My washer decided to pour all it's contents unto my floor. I knew that they were closed because they are closed on Sunday. I decided to fill out a request for service, so that they would see it the request in the morning. To my surprise I was contacted Sunday night by John, the owner.
John wanted to make sure that I didn’t need help that night. I told him it was under control and the next day would be fine.We set the appointment for Monday morning.
Nick showed up on time, listened to all that was going on and then assessed the problem. He explained what he was going to do and what steps we would have to take if plan A did not work. Plan A did work and all is “Free Flowing”!
Everyone was very professional, kind and got the job done.I was very satisfied and will be recommending them to everyone!
