We have used Free Flow a couple of times, thankfully both were non-emergency. Nick was our plumber on both occasions. He showed up on time, expert level knowledge in his trade. What I really appreciated is his care and clean up, he left it as he found it, no trace he was there. No foot prints, debris, or refuse left behind. Best part of course was the quality of work.

I’ve used them for years! Five stars get omitted from the tally thanks to AI, but he would be five stars. He’s a cool dude, does yoga, personable but super pro, honestly it’s a dude I would have a beer with. Prices are in line.I recently referenced him to a business and they loved him. He’s your guy, and all of his minions (which are basically just like him only younger…)

Excellent all the way around. Kitchen sink problem occurred on a Friday night, had to be a weekend of course, and was fixed by Saturday night. Couldn't appreciate the quick turn around more. John was friendly and courteous, and gave us several options.

Free Flow Plumbing is the only plumber that we’re going to use while living in the Cleveland area. They are professional and friendly. Small details like taking off shoes without my needing to ask, being as clean as possible (toilets can only be so clean, haha), and making jokes with my young kids. They were on time and efficient. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who asks.

Love free flowing plumbing! John is always saving the day! He’s done work at more than one of my businesses and my own home! Oddly enough, with the weather last week, I slid into a ditch and he coincidently pulled up as a Good Samaritan to check on me and towed me out, refusing to take money. He is just the absolute best! Update January 2026: Our gas water heater failed and started leaking. Another excellent experience with prompt service and a replacement of all necessary hardware and also necessary upgrades with the new water heater. Good pricing and great work. Highly encourage anyone to choose your local plumber over a large chain company. Highly recommend!

December 2025 Review: Prompt and fast service. John quickly identified the leak with our toilet and resolved the job in less than an hour after traveling across from a job on the West Side! Highly recommend and we will be utilizing him for any future plumbing repairs.

If owner of family-run business could care less about customer service, why bother?

Total rip off company. Saw I was in a desperate situation and preyed on that. Tried to charge 700$ to put in 2 bathroom faucets and said it will take 2 days or more with 2 plumbers...Really!!!??...terrible!!!

I was taken advantage of when I called them for service. When I realized what they did (which was legal but dishonest), I called and asked for a partial refund. I was offered, at an additional cost to me, a band aide attempt to fix a broken unit. I was offered good information about the unit, AFTER I had paid their service person. He should have told me before not after .
Poor business practices !!

Vanderwist has kept our furnace running, so we used them to replace a toilet, too. Service was on time, clean, and everything works great. Will definitely call again.

Our A/C quit at the beginning of the long Labor Day weekend. Since it's 15 years old, I feared replacement was going to be needed and didn't want to pay for a holiday service call to find this out. I contacted Vanderwist Tuesday morning. Their techs were here before noon, replaced a $50 part and got us running again.

I accidentally let my ancient boiler run out of water. The owner Tom came out immediately and helped me safely assess the situation. He knew what he was talking about and explained everything to me. Thanks to him I've been able to keep the old boiler limping along for now but I'll be using Vanderwist to replace it soon. He didn't even charge me for the call out.

Vanderwist replaced my forced air heating system in my almost 100 year old home. Service was fast, efficient, and professional. Tom was very helpful and kind in getting my home warm in November and working within my budget as a single mom. The furnace has been working beautifully for several years. Would highly recommend without reservations.

I used Vanderwist for the install of my hot water tank and also for a total replacement of my furnace and air conditioner which required a relocation of the ac unit. They did top notch work and were also extremely thorough and got to me fast! I liked that they had a multitude of services and offerings. Made for a nice one stop shop. I recommended to my mother who needed the same done and she was also very satisfied with their pricing, work, and speed to install.

The experience of having our home electrical system upgraded so we may use a 240volt power source to charge our new electric car was fantastic. They came in, did a thorough job estimating the work, and completed the job on time and within budget. I could not be happier with the great service. I would highly recommend them.
