Kristian and Josh came to do an annual check of my plumbing and to flush the hot water heater as part of Mackin and Sons service agreement. They pointed out areas that could be fixed but did not pressure me into doing the work which I greatly appreciate! They were very clean and professional and did not leave a mess when they were done. I recommend Mackin to all my friends and they are always pleased too.

Anthony of Macklin and Sons Plumbing has replaced all our copper with Pex and now we have manifolds to isolate individual fittings, a new well pressure tank and switch and a lot less leaky copper joints. Great work, fair price!

Anthony came out with his helper Ethan to install a second floor laundry hook up. They were quick, efficient, professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Mackin and son’s plumbing.

Nick was great! Communication and professionalism was on point. It was a little bit of a tricky job installing a new pressure reducing valve in closet but he handled it no problem. Would recommend him and his company to anyone needing services in the Wadsworth area.

Josh who installed the new faucet and garbage disposal, did an excellent job and very quick I might add. Very pleased with the results. Will always use Mackin and Sons for my plumbing needs.

We called on a weekend for an emergency drain clearout. We couldn't use any water in the house. Called Mackin at 9:54am. They said they would come out, and that we would get a call when they were ready. 5 hours later, they didn't call, didn't show up. They called and let us know at that point that they couldn't come until Monday. Very, very dissapointing.

Ethan, Josh, and Christian did an amazing job. We had our entire water lines replaced along with a change to a tankless water heater. Install was done in 2 days with only a little down time of no running water. They made sure we were up and running during the night in between. Very professional and walked us through the entire setup from start to finish. They also performed little things we had issues with like one shower being too cold. 110% recommendation.

Had 5 faucets to replace. Service was professional, fast and friendly. Used them in the past to replace our water heater. Good help you can trust is hard to come by these days. Recommended!

Before I say anything else, let me say… I’ve absolutely loved the work I’ve had done by Mackin and Son’s. It’s a daunting task, finding a home service or repairman you feel like you can actually trust. It feels like “plumber”, “HVAC repair”, or anything else like that is just another word for “overpriced and dishonest”.
Well, as far as I can tell, Mike does business differently. I actually feel confident giving them my money because I know not only will they do good work, but they’ll stand behind their work too. My experience: they installed a tankless water heater for us. Big job. They had to run a new exhaust port though our basement ceiling. They finished, I looked at the job, said it was good, paid for it, that was it. Well, a few days later, we realized… we needed the exhaust re-routed. They came back out the next week and completely re-routed the exhaust for us at no charge.
I’m sold. Mackin customer for life. We’ve had them back out for a number of smaller things since and they are always prompt, prepared, clean, polite, and professional. Specifically, I’ve worked with Anthony a number of times and he has always done fantastic work. There’s just a peace of mind knowing you can trust who you need to call if there was an emergency situation. I’ll be calling Mackin and Sons.

Mackin and Sons team is professional, knowledable, responsive, and trustworthy. I've been using them for my plumbing needs for over 10 years (both for repairs and upgrading plumbing) and will continue to do so. Most recently I had a plumbing emergency and someone arrived at my house within an hour of my call and the larger repair (replacement of water heater) was completed the very next day.

Josh and Team did a great job! Super responsive, coming out the same day to replace our garbage disposal. They were reasonably priced as well. Great job Josh!

I needed a kitchen faucet replaced, a garbage disposal hooked up and some old piping replaced. I was very pleased with Josh S. He was professional, friendly and on time. Gave me several options on the work that needed done. No pressure to choose the most expensive option. Will definately call next time I need plumbing services!

You can’t go wrong with Mackin and Sons. They will take care of you. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable people. Not to mention they quoted me literally half the price that the other guys did and provided what I believe to be a better product and better services. We needed a new well pressure pump fast and we needed a new tankless water heater. They worked with my schedule and did a fantastic job. 👍 👍

Josh and Thomas did a great job replacing our tankless water heater. They answered all of my questions and did a great job explaining the process and how everything works. A couple days after the install I also realized they fixed a faucet of mine while they were running tests! Excellent service.

Had a problem with a Moen roman tub faucet that Mackin installed a year ago. Since it was an expensive fixture I called them to see if they could take a look and they came out the next day to investigate. Turns out it was not a problem at all. The fixture handle had just worked it self loose and needed refastened. Anthony took care it and was on his way. Once again, fantastic customer service. Thank you!

New UPDATE: Had Josh from Mackin and Sons out to install plumbing for 3 new sinks, install 2 toilets, fix a toilet, install tub faucet, 3 new shower heads over 2 visits. He did an amazing job and even fixed things we didn't originally ask to be fixed. Will definitely keep using this company. Thank you Josh for the great customer service!

We had great service from Mackin, they even fit us in on a Saturday when we had an unexpected leak. Nick did a great job replacing all of our sink and toilet valves upstairs after years of hard water buildup. They look great now! Their work is always clean and efficient and the workers are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Their repairmen are highly skilled, knowledgeable, and courteous. They always do a great job for us for a fair price. If you expect to need a plumber more than once a year, definitely consider purchasing their special customer package. We save a lot on discounts.
