I'm not just satisfied with my service from David, I'm grateful. With in home service, hard to believe but true. David may just be the first person in the service industry who was perfectly on time, which was greatly appreciated when I needed to get back to work.

My Garbage Disposal was acting up, which he fixed in short order, and I had an existing issue with my Dishwasher. Since he was here, Memorial Day sales were approaching, and I didn't want to waste money on a purchase if it was a reasonable fix, I asked about it too. He wasn't phased one bit by the additional inquiry, inspected my current machine, explained exactly what was going on so I could make my own decision, provided options (including his rates for install, suggestions on who to buy through, and in my particular case encouraged me to go the vendor for install), and all in was done within a half hour.

Efficient, intelligent, kind, and how many service folks have you met that suggest options that aren't necessarily in their best interest, but are in yours? His rate was very reasonable which is appreciated on a budget.

Thanks to his advice I was able to take advantage of this weekend's sales, saving me much research time, second guessing, effort, and money. Thank you so much David! You're not just a knowledgeable technician, you're a great human being. We need more like you!

I called asking for a consult/estimate for a new water heater install. To my surprise, Dave came over within a half hour. He was very polite and informative. He gave me a solid estimate and stated he could install the next day. I still needed to check the schedule, get other estimates, etc. His prices were very competitive and much lower than the big-name firms in the area. The install was about 1.5 hours and Dave continued to be very professional. He answered all of my questions, gave me tips and ensured I understood the new heater’s functions. It’s been over a week since the install and I have had no problems or worries. Hot water is flowing as intended. Thanks Dave.

Moving in from out of state and had a plumbing issue in the basement that needed immediate fixing while we were in town for the weekend at our new home. Dave at A. Friend plumbing was the only one who was willing/able to come out on a Saturday to save my basement. He fixed it, did a great job, and was the nicest person you will ever meet. He will be getting a call from me any time I have plumbing needs in the future.

Hired Dave for a couple plumbing projects. Price was very fair and he got to them in a timely manner. He is a very talented plumber and more importantly a good person. I asked him about another project and he didn't try to sell me his services. He said of course he could do it but that I could easy do it as well and explain all that was involved. I highly recommend him!

Our garbage disposal ground to a halt, and we called Ecoplumbers, because they are so fast and dependable. The plumber looked inside, tried to move the key, and gave up within 5 minutes, saying that we needed a new disposal, which was going to cost $800-2,000, depending upon which model we wanted, with the $800 model being the very cheapest Insinkerator. That seemed outrageous, so I called another company. Barry from Jack Woods did a thorough diagnosis, determined that the circular turning plate at the bottom was bent, fixed it, and got the disposal to turn. All of this took about an hour. The disposal would have worked for a while, but it was already apart and 17 years old, so I decided to replace it. Barry installed a high-end Insinkerator and reworked our under-sink pipe arrangement, just to improve the design. The whole visit cost $550. Jack Woods will be my first call next time.

Called Jack L Woods Plumbing Co Inc with an issue and to set up an apt. The gentleman (Jim) who answered the phone provided me with a possible [Simple] solution for us to try on our own; It worked and we didn't need to have their plumber come out to the house. Fantastic customer services and we really appreciate it!
We'll use their services in the future!

This was my first time using Jack Woods at the advice of one of my coworkers who has been a customer of theirs for years. Am I glad I did! They installed new toilets throughout my home that I also purchased from them. Not only do they sell top of the line products but their friendliness, service, advice and professionalism from my first phone call to the final install has been nothing short of excellent. If you ever need plumbing work this should be your company!

Tip: if you have a pipe leak from the main water line coming into your home before the main shutoff valve, DO NOT schedule an appointment or you will be charged their minimum labor rate of $120 (as of 1/16/2023) for literally 5m time to tell you they don’t do this work as it requires the city to shut off your water supply and need excavation since the leak is near the wall somewhere before the main shutoff valve. I’ve used Jack Woods several other times and they have been great and their prices are typically better than others.

Earlier this week Dave from Jack Woods Plumbing answered our call for help with 3 (that's right, three) different plumbing issues including a leak, a slow drain and a mysterious hot water faucet that would not stay off. He arrived earlier than scheduled ( very welcomed), addressed all three issues, and charged an extremely reasonable amount. We will ask for him anytime we need plumbing help! Well done Jack Woods Plumbing...

I'm surprised by some of the other reviews but stuff happens sometimes. We had a great experience with the company. Barry came out today and immediately found the problems we have had with pipe issues and running water. Another company told us we had "air" in our pipes. This was definitely not the issue. He was able to quickly locate and fix a few problems we had. He was very personable and even played with our dog. When we called we were told it would be about ten days so made the appointment since it wasn't an urgent issue. They called a few times to see if we were available because they had a cancellation and could get us in. They office called to let us know the window of time to expect them and then called back to let us know he was on his way. We are very pleased with the service we received and will use them again if we need to.

Drew came out to install a new garbage disposal for us and he was fantastic. Very professional, personable and a great attitude. You can tell he cares a lot about the work he does and he did a great job. He’s a great asset to the company and we would use Jack Woods Plumbing again 100% based on our experience with him!

Got the job done. They replace my sump pump. This was a huge help for my family. Had very little interaction with service tech. He just told me the problem. I agreed to the repair without getting the price first. I did not find out the price until after the job was done. Guy did a good job keeping things clean and sealing everything back up. This company came highly recommended to me from different people who never met each other. I would use them again.

The team was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful.
After a few other companies wanted way too much just for diagnostics, JLW was out , got us hot water and was back within days with the parts and a permanent fix.

We had some bathroom sink drain work done by Jack L Woods Plumbing. Their quote was reasonable (significantly better than any other company we had come by), they were quick with communication and scheduling, and did great work. Will definitely be my go to now for plumbing.

I had an upstairs shower leaking into the leaving room downstairs. I called Jack L Woods Plumbing to come investigate. When they came over, they asked to cut the ceiling open, I reluctantly accepted. The guy spent two hours working on this, despite me insisting that he looks at the shower faucet, he determined this was not related to any plumbing but the shower structure. He advised me to have someone rebuild the entire shower. He charged me $240 for this. At the time I was quite happy with it as at least I thought I now know what the problem was.
in the second thought i decided before going and remodel an entire shower, let's get a second opinion. I called "The Eco Plumbers". They came in and 5 minutes later they found the real issue. It was in fact the cartridge that was leaking inside the wall when turned at a certain angle which explains why sometimes it would leak and some other time it would not.
After that I called Jack L Woods Plumbing to just see what they would say. I was hopping for someone to just says "We are sorry for cutting your ceiling open and charging you $240 for that and not getting you the right diagnostics". That is all I wanted to hear. I understand errors can happen but it is important to acknowledge our mistakes and learn from them. Instead Jack L Woods Plumbing told me that the faucet issue started after they left. There was no faucet issues when they were there. I repeated to them what they told me to just make sure they hear themselves. The gentlemen responded what I heard is correct. The faucet issue happened afterwards.
It is sad because the guy that came over was quite likable. I was thinking of him my go to plumber for some condos we just purchased.
Advise for you, to run a successful business, you should look at the long term relationships and not just a quick $240. you may make it today but lost many more in the future.

Work is fine, the drivers however will run you off the freeway using their brights going 90+ an hour within city limits. Absolutely unacceptable

We have used their services several times and have been pleased with their professionalism, promptness and keeping areas clean upon completion of the work. We have used them to replace faucets, replace a kitchen sink, and trouble shoot a water hammer issue. All work was completed perfectly and prices charged have been reasonable. I can easily recommend their services. As for any negative reviews, you need to consider the circumstances and the customers expectations. This is a contractor and dealing with emergencies is always stressful.

Stellar experience with Jack Woods Plumbing. I chose them because they were recommended on our neighborhood Facebook page. I was not disappointed. The service guy was friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home. He explained a number of things to me regarding the pipes in our house and told me some things to look out for. I will use them again in the future for my plumbing needs.

If you have any plumbing needs, call this company! I had a perfume bottle stuck in my toilet and couldn’t get it out. First company I called said I needed a new toilet and flange for $1,200 (no lie). A friend recommended Jack L. Woods Plumbing. Matt came out and told me the flange was fine and installed a new toilet for a third of the cost. It’s so easy to get scammed these days, sadly. Matt was friendly, professional, and fast! I will call Jack L Woods for ALL my plumbing needs in the future!!

They came out today and the rep was polite and helpful. They couldn’t fix the issue because there was a larger issue with the whole house drain needing cleaned, but they didn’t charge me anything for the quick visit. That is rare these days. Usually companies want $200 to ring the door bell. I’ll be reaching out to them in the future!

Incredible work! We received 4 quotes and decided on Jack Woods. And even one plumber recommended them during quotes. Had our water lines replaced up two stories. Dave and his team did an extraordinary job. The first floor was finished and water back on in one day, and the second floor was finished the next day. Even found a problem we were unaware of. I highly recommend!
