We have now utilized Jack Woods Plumbing for over 10yrs at our retail business and even longer at our residence. The consistency of service, professionalism and dedication to the customer is truly amazing. Often times you may get a technician within a company that has these traits, but our experience at Jack Woods has been across every representative we have utilized. Most recently, Berry was wonderful when he came to our residence. Quickly fixing a few minor repairs and then installing hot water to our garage! Last year a crew from Jack Woods replaced many lines of copper pipe in our basement and the on-going repairs at our store are always fixed timely and professionally with their crew. Thanks again for taking care of us the last 10yrs. -Eric

Disappointed and overcharged for zero service rendered. Did not fix toilet. Said it needed to have flooring fixed first before he could fix toilet. Still charged me $162.00 for telling me that. Talked to office about this and never followed up with me. Totally Felt I had been taken advantage of! Please note, if you want to play this game, the plumber did not provide any names of carpenters, etc. Was at my home for and hour. In fact I had my neighbor come look at it after the fact, because the plumber started to suffer from a horrible bloody nose and needed to leave!

As a long time customer (at least 8 visits over the years), I called Jack L. Woods Plumbing to come look at my water heater which was leaking. My calls on Sunday evening were not returned, despite the message stating recordings were checked every hour. When I called Monday morning, I was told the next available appointment was 12/19. I asked if they had anything sooner. The person on the phone told me he was a repair person and not the scheduler, so he would check. He came back on the phone and said he could come that afternoon. The water heater was under warranty and needed to be replaced. After the service was finished, I was charged 4.5 hours of overtime for what appeared to be 2-3 hours of work on a Monday afternoon. When calling, the owner/manager, Jim, talked over me repeatedly and in a condescending manner. He told me that it was my fault I did not ask if it was overtime. Honestly, who would ask if they were paying overtime on a MONDAY AFTERNOON? His response to this was, you did not ask- and "what else did you expect when we said we could come out that day? Did you think our schedule magically opened up?" Um... no. I don't know what your scheduling books look like, and just because you could now schedule me does not mean to me that it is an OT call. He then tried to tell me I got a "deal" because they accidentally subtracted their retail mark-up off my bill instead of the manufacturer's cost. A difference of about $400. In the end, with Jack Woods, I paid nearly $2K for the replacement of a water heater under warranty and for OT on a Monday afternoon, including overtime for loading and unloading their truck at their office. This OT work began with loading the truck at 2:30 pm and ended about an hour and a half after they left my house to unload the truck. Some might call this gauging.

Additionally, I've clearly been a long time customer that Jim was unwilling to work with and work to correct the labor to regular charges vs. OT which is all I asked of him. It's very disappointing and poor customer service, IMO. I will NOT recommend Jack Woods Plumbing. I know this doesn't change the fact that they have great repair folks on staff, but quality customer service from the top is important, and I did not receive that.

February 2023: Arrived on time. Completed the job quickly and properly. Nick cleaned up the dry wall cuttings after the job was done. I'm always satisfied with Jack Woods. They are always my first choice. However, they are so popular it's usually 7-10 days before they can make repairs. Update: January 2024. We required plumbing services twice in the last week. Both times JWP arrived ahead of their promised time and fixed the problems quickly and at a reasonable price. I recommend them to everyone I know who needs a plumber. They have been awesome over the 25 years I have been a customer.

I am so glad I called this company!!! I was told exactly what did and did not need fixing---while the Eco Plumbers wanted too much money and didn't offer me cheaper options. The man that came from Woods was honest and very knowledgeable. He fixed other concerns that I had in a jiffy. I would give them 6 stars if I could!

Three years ago, I had Jack Woods Plumbing install a new water spigot on the back of my house, along with a new shutoff valve at a cost of almost $500. This summer, the spigot would not turn off, so I called Jack Woods to see if they would replace the spigot at no charge, since it was only three years old. I was told that it was out of warranty after one year, so there would be no accommodation (my previous spigot lasted 30 years). I called H2R Plumbing, they made the repair for a very fair price and did say the spigot should have lasted at least ten years. Had they done the initial installation, the repair would have been at no charge. Needless to say, H2R Plumbing will have my future business.

Jack Woods plumbing came to fix the large pipe in my basement and put in a new water heater. They arrived on time (and they call you when their on their way). They also fixed my running toilet in the half bathroom, that I hadn't told them about. Their estimate was right on target no suprises,in fact they do have a senior discount. They were recommended to me by a friend and I am recommending them to my friends. I will be using them again when needed.

I was referred to Jack Woods after three other large companies (Roto-Rooter and the like) could not find the source of the sewage smell in my finished basement. The gentleman from Jack Woods who came out took his time to investigate and his genuine care to resolve the issue was evident. He located the problem and fixed it that same day, and also checked other fixings and made recommendations on things I could do myself (instead of pushing more of his services), which I greatly appreciated. He also educated me on all he was doing. I cannot tell you how grateful my family is to have a nice-smelling basement again, I'm a customer for life!

I think his name was Casey. Came and replaced my hose bibs. Great guy, very professional. Cleaned up after himself and did great work. I would highly recommend and I will be using them for any future plumbing projects.

My experience was superior. Work, communication, pricing and expertise all exceeded expectations. Had to remove old lead pipes, install a new drain, run new lines and more. Guys were polite, efficient and caring. And I was so delighted to hear this is now a female owned business (daughter took over for the founder who passed- over a decade ago). Jack would be proud his legacy is thriving.

I had been a client for many years but my most recent experience with Jack Wood was my last. The work was good but if you choose to go with this company be sure to get a firm quote in writing. In my case, I don’t believe they valued my business.

Engaged Jack Woods Plumbing to fix a leaking valve on the main water line into my house. The service was scheduled quickly and Matt was knowledgeable and very willing to answer all my questions. Unfortunately one of the parts installed started leaking a couple hours after the initial install - I called the next day and Matt came out the very same day to fix the defective valve. Very happy with the company and Matt and recommend them very highly.

Of all the local plumbers, these are the guys you want. Fast service, both scheduling and job time. Prices were very fair, and the technician, Dave, was a real master of his craft. He diagnosed our (multiple) problems quickly and correctly and had a great inventory of parts already with him. On top of all that, he was cheerful, tolerant of our chaotic home environment. He respected our home and left everything better than he found it. This is the company to call if you need a plumber.

Westerville Plumbing quoted me $1,500 for a small job replacing a fireplace gas shutoff valve. Jack Woods Plumbing came out and got it done in about an hour for $160. Don't call Westerville Plumbing, they are not honest. Jack Woods is a highly recommended plumber in the Westerville area.

Jack Woods Plumbing installed a tankless water heater at our house. We were very pleased start to finish. The crew were friendly and professional. The price was fair (and much cheaper than the big companies with all of the ads). I will use them again for my plumbing needs.

I had a major leak in my bath tub drain that prevented me from using my shower. I called Jack Woods on a Friday and they scheduled an appointment for me on the following Monday morning. The plumber, Barry, was very cordial, knowledgeable, and hard-working. Access to the drain pipe was only possible through drywall behind my hanging kitchen cabinets. Barry diagnosed the issue, removed my kitchen cabinets, cut a hole in the drywall, replaced the drain pipe apparatus, checked to make sure the leak was fixed, screwed the removed piece of drywall back in (and marked it in case of future issues), rehung the cabinets, and offered to clean the area of debris. He also kindly replaced the drain fixture without me even asking for it. This entire process was done in 2.5 hours! I asked Barry to estimate the cost before he started and the final cost matched what he estimated and was very reasonable considering the work that was done, in my opinion. I was very pleased with the whole process and would definitely recommend this company.

I needed a toilet replaced. The person on the telephone was very helpful and knowledgeable. He made a suggestion that I accepted. The plumber knew exactly what to and very pleasant and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them for future work.

I have used Jack Woods Plumbing for 25 years. They are professional, courteous, tradesmen who do quality work and have met or exceeded my expectations. Not only does their work last, it also looks good. I had a water heater replaced two years ago, and they pulled a permit as required.. Recently, I had a leak detector installed by David who did an excellent job.
