Jack Woods is the absolute best! Woke up to a flooding basement due to a sump pump failure. They were booked that day and recommended other plumbers who were unfortunately all booked as well so I found a company online that said they were local and could come out same day. The other company came out and quoted us thousands of dollars for a sump pump (ranging from $1-$3.5K). We called Jack Woods and asked if that was reasonable. They said absolutely not and they would make time for us that same day. (Thank you Bill!) They arrived within hours, put in a new pump, and charged us 1/3 of the cheapest options of the other company. This isn't the first time they have helped us out in a pinch. I honestly cannot recommend them enough. If you want a fair price, nice people with great service, and good work, go with Jack Woods.

Unprofessional, untimely, rude - not the Jack L Woods of years ago. This was who my family/friends had always used for 30+ years (I grew up in Westerville), but will not be any longer.
I called to get my hot water heater replaced on a Tuesday - they couldn't work me in to do it until the following Monday. Not a problem, reasonable because it wasn't an emergency yet. They came out that Monday to take pictures and said they would follow up with a quote but did give me a ballpark estimate. The plumber who came out said he didn't know how far out they would be looking to schedule the repair and recommended calling their schedule to find out - again, completely reasonable. I called within a few minutes of him leaving and they were already pushed into the next week (2 weeks after my original call). I spoke with Larry, who was extremely rude and literally laughed at me on the phone. We went around in circles with him being so rude and condescending; I finally left it with him that we would wait for the quote to schedule anything.
Here's the kicker - I then never received a quote (writing this 9 days later)! Absolutely no follow through. They don't need your business and don't seem to care.
I went with Water Heaters Plus out of Worthington and couldn't be happier - cheaper, more professional, and were able to do same day install. Couldn't recommend them enough.

We called Jack Woods Plumbing to fix a leaking main water shut off valve and we are nothing less than impressed. They were able to send someone out the same day, and our plumber, Tim Reed, did excellent work despite having to work in a tight space. The cost was incredibly reasonable. We are very happy customers highly recommend this company!

I am a happy customer... I am so impressed with the service that I received:) Berry was ontime, professional and he had great communication. Berry replaced a shower handle, water spout and cartridge plus he fixed my toilet too and he didn't leave a mess. Everything works great now=) Berry has such a good work ethic that you very seldom see in todays world. Berry noticed my front door was falling off from the hinges because somone tried to kick my door in... Berry even added screws to my door to help keep me safer until I receive my new door. Seriously he went over and beyond... such a nice guy=). I can't thank Berry enough... Plus the price was affordable too. I will be calling Jack Woods again in the future. I highly recommend =)

Tim came over and fixed our dripping faucet no problem. He also recommended replacing part of the toilet as it wasn't filling as it should and didn't cost much more at all. The problem however was the next day the shower in the same bathroom stopped working. I was upset and was sure it was something that Tim had done wrong. Next week a different Tim came out to the house and fixed the shower and showed and proved to me it was nothing that the first Tim had done wrong. I really appreciate the patience that the office had with our house when I was complaining and blaming the first Tim. Jack Woods Plumbing, 100% professional, very good at what the do, and fairly priced.
Not to mentioned the fixed a bathtub leak we had a year ago and did a great job on this as well.

We had Rick come out to replace our main water shut-off valve and he was fantastic! Super personable, efficient, and got the job done quickly. On top of that, Jack Woods price was significantly lower than two other quotes we received. Highly recommend him if you're looking for quality work without the inflated cost!

Tim R was our operator and we felt so lucky to get him. His years of experience really showed. He diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently took care of it. Excellent service. We will recommend Jack Woods to friends and family.

If you want them to catch your house on fire and turn your life upside down then call them, otherwise stay away from these people. No accountability for what they did either to our lives and 6 months of you know what to get our life back. Negligence was involved with someone you sent that should have had a mentor. Ironically he had a mentor on another job the days following our house fire caused by him. This is the work you get with Jack Woods on a simple spigot repair. They don’t even deserve a 1 star, but at least people in our neighborhood know not to call them again and have made sure of that.

They sent Dusty out to take care of a couple plumbing issues I had. He did a fantastic job and was very efficient time wise. Very happy with the service!

Larry should be fired or not allowed to answer the phones. Rude, impatient, condescending, and just plain heartless. He actually made me cry he was so difficult to talk to. Don't have someone who has shitty people skills talking to customers. Also why do I have to give you my address, phone number, email and name after you were already at my house and did work? Does your company not own a computer? You can't pull up a previous job using one of those pieces of information? I don't understand why I had to repeat all this information again just to have you come back to do more work. Especially after I never received an invoice for the initial service I received a few days prior. How did you expect to get paid if I hadn't called back? Now the guy who did the work at my house was fantastic, which is why I left 3 stars instead of 1. I think his name was Dave but I'm positive. He was not only kind and professional, but he fixed our problem in just a few hours and did an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable and experienced and we had confidence we were in good hands with him.

First off, let me state that my Father was a plumber with his own business out on the West Side of Columbus in the Brookshire Addition. My Dad always gave 100%, his work was the very best, and his standards were stellar, as many of his former customers would attest. So, when i see or need plumbing work done, I definitely know what to expect in quality and fair pricing! Today, we had a current waterline leak in the basement repaired; fifty-six-year-old copper plumbing needs tender care and maintenance, you know. Experiencing a couple of pinhole leaks in our water supply, we called upon Jack L. Woods Plumbing Company, Incorporated located in Westerville to take care of the situation. Previously, they expertly installed a new water heater in our basement which has been totally dependable since installation a few years back. Our repairman, Barry, was professional, on time, and did a superb repair to remedy our current situation. In addition, he repositioned a current shut-off valve close to the main shut-off valve, to make certain we have a complete shutdown of water in case of future plumbing needs. I cannot recommend this thirty-five-year-old company enough! They give the very best in service for your plumbing needs!

I asked them to give me an estimate to do a simple job of installing a gas line to my stove. The estimator came out and said he would provide me an estimate. I never received the estimate, and asked 4 times for them to send the estimate. Two weeks later, I am told its really buy this time of year, and I would just have wait. I will never call these guys again.

Best plumbing service I have ever used! Great to work with, very affordable and the work was completed timely.

Randy arrived nearly 2 hours early to do a check of our hot water heater. He had called to check if the early arrival would be okay, but because the voice message was for my business, he didn't leave a message, so when he just showed up at the door, there was a bit of confusion. He agreed that he should have just left a message. He was quick and personable. Very pleased with price and would use again. Especially like that every time I called them, an actual person answered the phone.

First time dealing with a plumbing issue. Called about 5 other companies who were booking weeks out. Called this company and they had a plumber out the same afternoon. Jay came out, diagnosed the issue and fixed it all within an hour! He was right on time, called to let me know how far out he was and very professional when he got here. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a plumber!

The technician and customer service were great.

Randy came out to to replace a defective outdoor spigot and was running early and called to see if he could arrive early and unfortunately there was just no way I could make it earlier than planned today. No problem he said, he'd attempt another job and be out later. When he arrived, he assessed the situation and had it completely replaced / repaired in a half hour. He was very professional, courteous and even offered to use the parts I had purchased to repair to keep cost down. All in all a great experience. They were recommended to me by my parents and I would not hesitate to recommend them to someone else looking for a good, reasonable plumber.
