We bought a wonderful fountain from the Sooner Rd. Marcum’s Nursery for our son’s birthday. After a less than enthusiastic greeting from the inside staff we had our doubts....until we ran into Vick. Vick, and his guys, eagerly helped us load up. After later realizing we were missing a part, Vick volunteered to come to our son’s house to check it out. He spent a good deal of time helping us. He went above and beyond to help us! Thank you Vick!! We will be back!

I was carrying around some plants in my arms, the sweet lady watering, put down the hose and ran and got me a cart. When I went to pay for the plants, the gentleman checking me out, told me he wouldn't sell me such small plants when they had bigger ones for the same price. He went and got them for me! This place is amazing, so friendly and caring. I will be back!!

Always top quality plants at good prices at Marcum's. The staff is over the top helpful as well. My favorite nursery of all!

We bought several trees bushes and 3 flats of small plants and had Marcum's deliver and plant. I was told the date and time 11:00 Am they would be here. The showed up at 10 to 11:00 dug up old stumps of trees we was replacing, planted and watered everything and left us with beautiful landscaping, and were done at 10 after 12 am. The crew was very professional and job well done. Would also like to thank Shane. With his help we got the look we wanted and much more. Thanks Marcum's

The Marcum's location on Sooner. Rd in Norman, OK, has an employee name Shirley who has the absolute WORST customer service. I literally make every effort to AVOID HER!! Everyone else has ALWAYS been very friendly and helpful, which is an asset to this location. Shirley is short with customers, very rude, never smile, very cold, never looks at you while you are talking to her...she makes you feel as though your business is not important. She makes the whole shopping experience very unpleasant. The owners really need to coach her on the importance of excellent customer service, especially with prices increasing on everything. The consumer may begin to think twice about spending our hard earned money at businesses with employees like Shirley who treats the customers like dirt. I will NEVER shop at this location again!

Over the past fifteen years I have had the pleasure of doing business with Marcum's Nursery in many facets, from a major landscaping project involving serious drainage issues and the planting of large trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals, to purchasing items that I have planted and placed myself. The backyard landscape project was fabulous! The caliber and variety of the plants they sell, as well as the friendly and knowledgeable staff, make it well worth my time to drive from Edmond to their southern metro locations. This is a quality business with quality people.

Changing my review to 5 stars based on today's visit. Friendly helpful staff who were more than eager to help out and answer questions. If they didn't know the answer, they found someone who did. Thank you.

Meh. I kind of felt like I was bothering people who were too busy for me. It's a nice place, though, with lots to offer. You'll find what you need. 🤷

I just finished my project. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Helped me choose plants so that my garden would have color all four seasons. Plants will be hardy for our Oklahoma heat. The prices were even better than other local sources. Will look even better when all of my bulbs come up next spring.

My wife and have lived in the neighborhood right across the street from Marcum's in Norman for 9 years and we shop there multiple times each year. Marcum's usually has everything we need and the staff has always been more than willing to answer our questions. The few people that claim to have had the "worst experience evEr!!11!" are likely folks that have completely unrealistic expectations and feel like they're owed the world or that mistakes never happen. Get over yourselves.

I hired this company to landscape my new home. I told them I did not want anything that had thorns. They planted a couple of bushes that had thorns and everything they planted was dead within one season.

Marcum’s not only has terrific selection of all plants, but also the best customer service - always. Golda helped me this weekend. Totally professional, knowledgeable and personable.

As a plant enthusiast I can say Marcum’s has really great plants, Hands down, this place has the best customer service! This is an amazing family owned business. I have always been met with friendly faces, helpful advice, and employees that go above and beyond. I can not recommend them enough!

We went for the first time to the renovation reopening in Norman and we were extremely impressed. Great selection and prices. But more impressive was the staff. Super friendly and helpful. There was a large turnout and they were helping each other make the checkout line more streamlined and offering patrons complimentary bottles of water and wildflower seeds as they waited. We will definitely be giving Marcum's our future business.

Marcum's has been amazing since my first visit. Their employees are very attentive to customer questions and keeping the plants looking great.
In my experience they have been at least 20% cheaper than going to the big box stores and Marcum's has a much bigger selection.
On my first visit I won an amazing wind chime with my purchase on a random drawing. It's beautiful and so peaceful to listen to.
Every visit they've had some great deal.(Free tomato plants, 25% annuals...).
Golda has remembered me when I came back and went to great effort to check with other stores for plants I was looking for.
I'll probably be back next weekend.

Stopped by this afternoon to pick up about 25.00 worth of plants and seeds. 410 pm on a Friday. All I had was a hundred dollar bill and 3 5’s. You would not accept the 100 dollars for my purchase. I was told you didn’t have change, at 4:10 in the afternoon on a Friday you don’t have change for $100 bill!!! For as much products that are sold at this nursery, I cannot believe I couldn’t make a $25 purchase with a a $100 bill. And no, no one even looked at my hundred dollar bill. It wasn’t a fact of whether it was real or not. You just didn’t want to make the sale.!! And behind the counter, I heard someone say we don’t accept $100 bills for small purchases. No, I will not ever come back. Totally disappointed, I have been coming to this nursery for years! I want to add, I work in a very, very small, retail, full-time, a laundromat. we have the pens and the electronic lights to check if bills are real and if they are we keep enough change on hand in fives and tens and 20s to accommodate our customers. Even if they want to do a two dollar Laundry, we accommodate them.

Love this nursery! They have ladybugs and all sorts of wonderful things. I got my herb garden plants here and several other favorite plants!

They have a great variety of plants/shrubs/trees and all kinds of nice pottery, benches, fountains, and yard and garden accent items. Their plants are all healthy and beautiful. We enjoy going to just browse and I think anyone who enjoys growing things will also enjoy visiting their beautiful location.

Like little else. This Marcum’s Nursery location is a sprawling delight. Pots, soil, herbs, vegetable plants, fruit trees, and landscape trees — and so much more. I enjoyed my walk around their grounds almost as much as the things I purchased. Head and shoulder’s above the big-box home improvement stores.

Purchased this Japanese maple along with a hand full of other plants about 6 months ago and planted them in rich mix soil from Mr Mulch. All plants are all strong and healthy, very happy with the purchase.

Stopped in to look at chimeneas and the lady who helped us was not very kind or professional. I don't know her name, but she acted as if we were a bother. A little disappointed because the other Marcum's locations usually have such nice people. We ended up buying the chimenea there only because the other locations did not have one like the one that they have here. Can't speak on their selection of other things and chances are won't go back to this location if I can help it.
