Richard with Barnett Electric was on time, smart, investigative, listened to what happened to the system, after the previous electricians from a DIFFERENT COMPANY WERE A FAILURE. It is a long story of events about the other electric company. Richard with Barnett Electric rescued the situation. He gave me an itemized estimate like a true professional should. Also, still in 2025, there are men that treat a women differently. Not Richard, he was polite, explained and showed me what needed to be done. Additionally, be had to run a new wire after the previous electricians rewired my home.
I WAS so impressed Richard and his crew, measured and used a pencil with a straight edge to cut a small rectangular piece of the drywall. After he finished his work, he just nailed the perfect cut drywall back in the wall. Richard with Barnett’s Electric has been one of the few shining stars since Lightning struck my chimney on April 5 at 4:00 a.m.

Sam and team were incredibly professional. They took great care to investigate the issue, explain my options, and complete the work with care and expertise. We went from an old pool timer screwed into rotting plywood to a beautiful rack and junction box with a new pool timer and power outlet, plus an improved and safer breaker panel, all GFCI protected. Barnett responded quickly to diagnose a faulty fan motor in our HVAC compressor. Since the unit was just a year old, technician Brandon contacted the manufacturer and in less than 24 hours, he was able to install a new motor, all costs covered under warranty. During this time, we never lost air conditioning. Brandon was efficient, polite, and thoroughly professional.

Although a bit pricey, these guys were AWESOME!. The Norman tornado (Sunday) left me without power for 3 days to the point I had to go get a generator. The problem was that I had no way of hooking it up to my house. I called Barnett Electrical and spoke to James (a good omen). I am also named James lol. He said he could have someone out that afternoon (Tuesday). They ended up arriving at around 11 am. Sam and his colleague were great. Knowledgeable, tidy, and efficient. They came in a truck fully loaded with everything they needed. Sam walked me through the options and even recommended a new surge protector that comes with a $75k guarantee. For me, that is very important as I run a lot of computers and hard drives with priceless video footage and photos I have taken over 24 years. He looked at my generator and knew exactly what I needed. We ran through the quote, agreed, and he began work. Sam and his colleague finished in just over an hour. The photos speak for themselves. Fantastic job, guys. Thanks to Barnett, I am now ready for the next power outage. Not too soon, I hope. HIGHLY recommend Barnett Electrical.

Nearly four weeks to the day, Mason and Braxton arrived to install two wet-rated outdoor ceiling fans to our two-year old pergola.

I've used them twice now with a different technician both times. Both times, they came out quickly, were friendly and polite, and most importantly, they found and repaired the issues quickly! Affordable and great company! They're the only ones I'll use.

Excellent work. Straight forward, friendly, explained everything in detail before and after. Went out of his way to make everything right, even if it meant fixing mistakes made by other companies. With an older home they did run into some issues but knew alternative methods to work around the problems. I will be using Barnett for every service they offer.

I called Barnett’s and scheduled an emergency call as my HVAC’s heating was not working properly and it was in the 40-50 degrees. The technician comes out and they charge a $299 service fee, which I expected since it was an emergency call. They then informed me my part wouldn’t come in for 3-5 days. This was unfortunate, but when you have a 20 year old unit it is expected for them to not have the part on hand. The first technician told me the part would cost me $1000 for labor and the part. Then the final bill of $1,600 came. I called them to get an itemized bill and they informed me that $465 was for the part, $400 for labor, and $299 for a dispatch fee. Which was $1,164. So why was I charged $1,600 you ask? The person I spoke to said the extra $460 was to run their business.. isn’t that what the service fee is for? Overall the technicians were nice, not pushy, and did their job well. However, I don’t know if I will use them again due to the lack of transparency with pricing. If I had known I would be paying them an extra $460 to operate their business I would’ve looked elsewhere.

Need a switch repaired and a GFI. Sweet person who answered the phone got my info and scheduled us within two days. Promised a 30 warning call and that’s what we got, from the same sweet person that booked me. Gentlemen showed up and did the work perfectly and timely and at what I would consider a fair price. I’ll be adding this company to my contacts for future repairs/calls as needed.

They said Daylen would arrive in 30 minutes and he did. He was very polite and made it obvious right away that he knew what he was doing. Diagnosed the problem in a few minutes, made sure everything was put back together and helped us contact the power company as it was an issue of theirs not ours. Barnett is also locally owned and independent. Will use again.

I have had nothing but exceptional experiences when working with Barnett Electrical and they are arguably one of the easiest companies to deal with. A simple phone call yesterday with questions/concerns I had about a problem I was dealing with led to them stopping by today, assessing the problem and fixing the issue in less than 24hrs. Andrew was the tech that completed the service and he was honest, kind, thorough, and patient when going over available solutions and competitive pricing without being pushy. The actual work was completed in less than an hour. It does not get much easier than that. I couldn’t recommend a better company for your electrical/HVAC needs.

Brandon was great, he was knowledgeable about the service I needed advised me on fixes and overall a great person. I will use this company if I ever need help on electric problems.

Great company to work with. Clear and accurate communication on arrival time. Daylen and his helpers did a great job installing an interlock for a generator, adding some outlets, surge protectors on the panel, a fan on the back porch, and a 220 outlet in my garage. From someone that works for another type of home service company I can tell they are professional and was impressed by the quality and speed of work.

He was great! Showed up quick and diagnosed the issue. Gave recommendations for fixes and told me all the prices upfront. Would recommend for anyone.

These guys are amazing. Very professional/friendly. During an install, they found out half the work had already been done and refunded us the original quote. That sort of business practice is hard to come by.

This was our 2nd experience and we are pleased with both. We received excellent service and follow up. After installation the fixture was not exactly what I wanted and the Tech (Daylen)was wonderful and came back twice until we got what worked for us. Will definitely call again for my electrical needs.

Called them in the morning after a neighbor's recommendation. I was not disappointed and must say, they are polite on the phone, and thorough with how their charges work. A technician was dispatched few hours later. Richard was an absolute professional who assessed my issues and offered me options. Will definitely suggest this company to others in my area.
