DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I had some work done behind my wall. The pipes were left out so far i cant put the wall back. Very poor work. A guy named Robert did the work. Never have I seen such a mess. I will now have to hire someone to fix it so I can put the sheetrock back.

Rude and filthy. The two gentlemen who arrived to unclog my main line were immediately unprofessional but I decided to let them unclog the pipe anyway. During the process, one of them became blatantly rude and insulting. Because the job was not completed correctly, I had them repeat the process, which was eventually successful. If things could be worse, they left a mess of sewage debris all about my back yard. I strongly urge readers to consider another service provider.

Ray came out bid the job one way and when his crew came out they did it in a completely different way which was a much short way and a much quicker job and still charged the same amount for the longer job. We will never do business with him again.

I called this morning because my boss uses Ray Sewage for all of his rent houses. My toilet is backing up and I need to have my cleanout snaked. I called this morning and explained the lady that a plumber had looked at it and said I need someone to snake the cleanout. She was one of the most argumentive people I have ever dealt with. She kept saying is they have to go on your roof she said they might just have to. When I asked if they could call me if it was going to be more than she quotes she said no that would hold them up. When I asked her name she hung up on me! I called right back and asked her name and why would she hang up on me and she hung up on me again! I had all the guys in the office listening to this and they were also in shock!! None of us will ever use this company and the owners need to know how the girls answering the phone is treating people. I just tried to call a third time and ask for a manager and she hung up on me again! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! IF I COULD GIVE NO STAR I WOULD! I work at an insulation company and answer the phones and talk to people all day. I can assure you if I treated people like this we would have no business!

I paid $140 for a sewer clean out before my house was inspected for sell on 2/20. Was inspected on 2/24 and it was noted that it was obstructed at 15 ft. Had to call the office 3 times to speak with Ray. Even though I offered to provide the report that the clean out wasn’t done he stated he would not be refunding my money or coming back out. He said I could cancel the check if I wanted. Check has already cleared. I wouldn’t use them!!

I’ve never had an experience this bad with any company, the most unprofessionally ran business I have dealt with. They are The absolute worst in customer service, I had a bad experience with the lady scheduling the appointments that took the call and then the technician had the audacity to get an attitude about having to come back out and fix the job they didn’t complete yesterday but he actually began to yell at me. 100% do not recommend these people, spend your money with a company that values its customers.

I have had 3 plumbers out to our house for the same clog. No one could ever clear it. Then A plumber suggested to call Rays Sewer. there is a guy there that can probably clear the clog. Rays came out on a Wednesday and 2 men that could hit the clog. They said will need to send a guy that will hit the clog the next day. Well we was ready for the worse, which was tear up our slab. Then the lord sent us Dennis, When he came in he said If I cant hit it the slab will need to tore up for access and replace pipe. Dennis was a blessing because he saved us from tearing up the floor. I am so thankful. Thank you again Dennis!!!

For all the negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised! We called this morning and they were out here in about an hour (given we live quite a distance from them). The man was very friendly, and hand the problem fixed in about 10 min! Very happy with the service and friendliness of the staff!

Just very unprofessional. Can't tell you when they will arrive (said they would come on a Friday, nope... Going on Tuesday, still haven't shown up). And this is a callback because they didn't do a cleanout right the first time. Rays used to be the company to use. Not anymore. Stay away from this mess of a company.

Asked Ray's to come give me a bid on a water leak job at a rent house, and he made the unilateral decision to do the work without allowing me the opportunity to first agree to his price. He then presented me with a $886 bill for a job another contractor had given me a $500-600 estimate on. When confronted about this unethical business practice, he became belligerent. I will be taking my business elsewhere and recommend you do the same!

The secretary is very rude she acts like it is killing her to do her job. They told me my pipe was broken and they would send someone back out to assess the damages and I never heard anything back from them until I called almost a week later. I am still in the process of getting the problem fixed now. They were recommended to me but I would not recommend them at all.

If you having an emergency with water running or leaking on your floor and not properly draining. Do not call these guys! My drains are backed up and water is overflowing to the floor. We called thses guys to come out and was told they would be out after 5pm yesterday.
He did show up and attempted to snake the drains, but stated his line was not long enough and would be back out first thing the next morning.
So, now I'm questioning how do you specialize in a specific service and not have enough of the right equipment and why do I have to wait until the next morning, if you are a 24 hour servicecompany?
Anyway the next morning has arrived and at 10am no one has arrived. We call the company to get a status check and was told they will not be able to get to us until sometime this afternoon. I explained it is unacceptable. We have water leaking and overflowing to the floor and the original plumber said he would be back out this morning. They apologized and stated nothing they could do about it. I was so very disappointed in this company and not receiving better service. We are now going into the 2nd day and not any closer to resolution.
However, after mentioning this would not look good on reviews for their service, I received a call back within 15 mins stating they will have someone out right away.
Now let's see if this matter gets resolved?

I had a drain issue, called Rays on Friday afternoon. They were able to come out same day and take care of issue.
Believe Robert was the one that came out,
Robert and his helper were very professional and showed up on time.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Called them out to do a job. Agreed with Ray before hand that we would pay $200 down and $100 a month until the bill was paid off. Get the second statement and there is a $13.50 interest charge. When I called to ask about it the lady I talked was super rude. Charging what amount to an extra payment over the course of the arrangement without any kind of prior notice. If I knew that would have been the case I would have went somewhere else.

There’s a HUGE lack of communication with this company. They came out to my property on Monday to inspect an outdoor water leak in my driveway. It’s been 4 days with NO ANSWERS. EVERY time I call and ask what the issue is or when we can start the work to fix it the receptionist just says “oh that person isn’t here right now BUT we’ll call you by end of the day”.
Day 1: I called on Monday for the estimate and was told they would be out that same day or the next day.
Day 2: I called in the morning to ask if they would be by today since I waited all day the day before. The receptionist tells me the gentleman already checked out my property on Monday and knew what was leaking. I checked the cameras and he sure did come by but never rang the door bell or knocked on the door. So She said he’d call me back that day to give me an estimate. I called again that afternoon, this time the receptionist seemed rather annoyed that I called again and gave me the same response “when he gets back he’ll call you and tell you what’s wrong.”
Day 3: At this point I’m calling just to see if anyone will give me an answer. I believe it was a Different receptionist but she gave me the same response “he isn’t here but once he is we’ll call you back.”
Day 4: It’s Thursday, January 13th 2022 and guess what I did this morning? Called them again to ask if they could give me update. Want to guess what they told me? Yup, the same thing. “Someone will call you back”
It’s 6pm and I have YET to receive a call back.

I just don’t understand the logic of coming out to a property, coming up with an estimate but NOT calling the client.

Got an estimate and I asked when they could do the job. I was told they couldn't give me a date unless I accepted the bid. I did and explained that I needed to know because my wife and I were having to stay in a hotel. First they said they had to get a service out to mark where all the utilities were underground and they had to get city permits. After the utilities were identified I called to again ask when they would be out. I was told that they would call me back. No call. I called back and was told that I needed to get someone else because they were not available. This was a total of two weeks that I have been paying the hotel and now I have to stay longer and try to find someone else.

Thanks for nothing Ray's Sewer Service.

They now seem to carry an extra guy in the truck so they can charge for "extra man". This "extra man" will cost you $90 no matter how little he contributes to your plumbing repairs. It is like paying for an extra plumber just to sit in the truck and maybe carry something back to the truck when the job is complete.

First trip out, and at our request, the line was videoed so we could see what was causing the problem, found wood in sewer line. Looked like an old stake. They reamed on the line, after several passes they lead us to believe it was taken care of. They showed us the video, first two films show wood, appears wood is being pushed deeper into the line by them by the camera system. When we asked about this and if they got it out they show us the last film appears wood is “gone”. Told us wood was “chewed up” by their tool. Ray, the owner told us this. Over the next month problem continues. Called to have them back out several more times for the same line backing up. 2nd and 3rd trip they did not call before coming so we were not able to speak with anyone, no one ever called to update us on findings for these two trips. Our renters said they were there maybe 10 mins and then they were gone. On their 4th trip out, which we insisted we be given notice before arrival so we could be there, we are finally advised by Robert (he was present on the first visit as was Ray, the owner) that the line needs to be dug up, wood is still in the line it was never gotten out. He said it was just pushed into and lodged in the turn. The same wood from the first trip. Robert said they “knew” it was lodged in bend on the first trip. He thought “Jackie” was “following” up with us on this for further work. Since Ray, the owner was on site during the first visit, Ray also KNEW this was not fixed. When trying to discuss all of this with Ray, the owner, he started cussing me out, did not want to take any ownership of the failure of his workers or himself for not fixing this problem. Took no ownership of company’s failure to properly communicate to us in a timely manner and what really needed to be done to repair this problem. All they had to do was tell us the “Truth” on day one, that they didn’t get it fixed and what needed to be done next, instead of wasting a month of our time, and inconveniencing our renters.
Oh and on this last trip, one of the workers was told by his co-worker to “stay in the truck and keep your head down”. It was obvious that man was “impaired” and completely incapable of safely working. Bottom line Do Not Use this Company. The only Honest employee was Robert.

    NEVER USE THEM :

We called this company so they can come and do a estimate and check out some pipes to a home we rent out ! Ray tried to tell us that he went 60ft when that’s not possible in a small home and there was no proof he did anything ! Now his receptionist called and asked in a very rude way on where was the bill going to be sent out to and clicks when we try to explain ! We called back and asked when did she click when we was still having a conversation and her response was very rude and unprofessional! If I can give them 0 STARS I would ! I would look somewhere ! All they want is your MONEY !!

I had used them before and the sent 2 Men that were here over an hour! They cleaned out everything for $80.00. The next time it was a minor issue to clean out 6 Feet of pipe! It took 15 Minutes! The Bill $125.00. What??? The secretary said the cost had gone up! No Joke Doctor PHD Ray! The pipe still drains slow! Next company! I try and work with the same Contractors but all seem a one time grab and gone!

I have a 50 year old house. My tub clogged up. I called Roto-Rooter and they spent an hour trying to unclog it. He finally said I would have to break through the floor because it was the old T Joint and the auger couldn't make the turn. He said they could do it for $2800. I paid him $109 for the hour. I called a couple more plumbers who would not even come check it out, just said it was the old double quarter bend and I might as well just go through the floor and fix it. I called Joe Phillips, a very good plumber I had used years earlier "All Around Plumbing" and he told me the same thing, that he simply did not have the "feel" necessary to unclog the old plumbing and he referred me to Ray's Sewer Service. I called them and they came out, explained that they would give it their "best shot", if not, they would give me a bid to go through the floor. One hour later, they had not only blown through the massive clog, but cleaned the entire 2" line to the 3" line to be sure it was all cleared out. They cleaned up after themselves, even fixed a small drip that another plumber had left when he replaced my bathroom sink. This company will do right by you - they are a little expensive, but not anywhere close to what it would cost to go through the floor!
