These people “family owned business”
They have never disappointed me with their professional services. As a retired electrician, I’m impressed with the control work/knowledge their technicians have.

I see, honest, hard-working people

Was told pricing would be discussed BEFORE work to begin. Arrived 1 1/2 hours early and began work before I arrived. Informed them it was a bad fan motor on condenser during scheduling. Paid an unnecessary diagnostic fee and was going to be charged 1.5 hours of labor as they didn't bring the part and had to get it. Paid fee and cancelled service. Called to complain as they said pricing was to be discussed beforehand and it was not. They could have brought part as this was warranty work on a 3 year old system. I would NOT recommend.

2025 has been a disaster for my HVAC. In March I had a company through a warranty company come out and told me the unit was fixed, didn't work properly. The warranty company then sent another company out to "fix" it and they came out 3 times said nothing is wrong with it and they can't do anything to help the unit trying to "keep up." I then decided to go outside the warranty company to see if I could get someone to give me straight answers. July 11th I called Dowd heat and air not only did they not say they are too busy to make it out they were very empathetic with the situation 95degrees in my house and was out to my house in less than 5 hours. Low and behold the unit was able to be fixed and is working great.
Professionalism was outstanding.
Efficiency was above expectations.
Service you cannot get any better.

If google would let me give more stars I would recommend calling them first above ALL others.

Dowd Heat and Air serviced my air conditioning unit by appointment. Serviceman was punctual, very knowledgeable, and worked making efficient use of time. He answered all questions that I asked and made some recommendations to assist in maintenance schedules. I have been using Dowd for over 15 years during which time they replaced Heat and Air Unit and my Hot Water Heater. I highly recommend this company.

Great job! New 6 ton HVAC System installed. Guys were very punctual and friendly.

Very good experience. Terry was nice and direct. Price was very competitive. Techs were friendly. There was a small installation error that will make me have to do some drywall work. Overall, it was a good experience.

We have had excellent experiences over the years with maintenance and HVAC system repair. Their techs are professional, experienced and provide excellent service. Brian just completed our bi-annual HVAC maintenance and we were very pleased.

I hired them to address my heater not turning on. They were able to come out the same day and quickly had it taken care of. It was not inexpensive, but it was an efficient, professional process at a fair price point. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. Cavet went above and beyond and made sure we were in working order before leaving. He was courteous and polite . He even told us helpful things we could do to keep things in working order. You don't find many honest companies anymore and we really appreciate that he addressed the issue and didn't try to sale us stuff we didn't need. Definitely recommend this company

Had to replace my entire heating and air system due to a lightning strike. They were very helpful in providing me a quote and assessment to give to my insurance company. When it came time to do the work, the techs they sent out were great. They were also cautious coming in and out to not let my cats get out. The new indoor and outdoor units are running great. Got me all squared away just before the summer heat rolls in. Give that guy Casey a raise and 10 months paid vacation.

Terry and now Terry Jr. have been servicing my homes and extended family for the past 20 years. They have always provided me & my family with excellent service! If you have an emergency where your AC goes out in the middle of summer, you are a priority to this company. Shout out to Regina, who answers the phones. I appreciate her attentiveness to ensuring my issue was handled promptly. I would highly recommend trusting this family business with your HVAC needs.

I had Dowd come out for a yearly check up on my A/C. They were running late and called to let me know ahead of time. I appreciated the call. They called again later to let me know when he was on his way. Good communication throughout the appointment! The service guy was respectful too and did a great job! Thank you!

Based on a neighbors recommendation, we called Dowd Heat & Air to work on our upstairs AC unit. Brian arrived at the exact time they promised. He took the time to discuss the problem with the unit and any potential prior issues. After evaluating the unit he determined the issue and fixed the AC in a timely fashion. He then reviewed the issue with me and explained in detail what had caused the problem and what he did to fix it. He did a great job and the cost was much more reasonable than I had anticipated. Every time I have called Dow heat and air they have always been amazing on time and done the perfect job. I really appreciate them over the last 26 years.
I had a leaking tankless hot water tank and they were able to get the parts and quickly repair it. I appreciate Terry very much and his employees

We were in need of a new air conditioning system. They gave me the option of maybe replacing a part but did mention that it could not last that long due to the age of our system. Two Gentleman came out and replaced it and didn’t take them long. They were very kind and courteous. Bobby and forgive me I forgot the other gentleman’s name. My wife is pleased 😊😊Thank you Terry

When we were getting estimates for more attic insulation, one of the companies discovered that we had a return air duct in our attic that had come completely apart. The technician that Dowd sent out did a great job of putting it back together. It was a VERY hot day, and the attic was VERY hot. He had to get some supplies, but he did a thorough and complete job.

Dowd Heat and Air are as good as it gets! They are quick to come out to give a quote and provide excellent service if you decide to move forward with them. I decided to get a mini split and absolutely love it. From the top down, they provide excellent customer service and support. I highly recommend. Thanks guys!

Dowd was excellent. They thoroughly inspected our system and communicated clearly. As a result of their expertise we saved $7,000 from a different company who was insisting we purchase a new HVAC unit. I strongly recommend Dowd.

Great Services. They are quick, fair prices, especially compared to others. And if necessary they will help get financing if needed

I tried Dowd for some routine maintenance at the suggestion of my neighbor. They were easy to schedule, great to communicate, and got the job done in a timely manner. I signed up for the maintenance program, and even saved a little money.
