We were referred to James and his team for a repair to my parents Condo after a major plumbing job was required. They were polite, professional, clean, and fairly priced. My mom could not say enough how pleased she was with how polite the team was and how well they cleaned up after themselves while in her home!!

We had our kitchen ceiling repaired due to water damage. Lord of the Board did an amazing job! Workers were very polite and respectful of our home. James was very fair with pricing and very quick with communication even on the weekend. Would definitely recommend, and hire again if the need arises!

James and his team came through SOLID for me. Currently working on renovations at a retirement home and James was able to complete several and varieties of different jobs. His friendly smile certainly charmed the staff at the retirement home. Lord of the Board Inc. does incredible drywall work. All the people that work for this Company are just awesome! The owner James lets you know exactly what to expect.
They are on time, their work on drywall is excellent & I love the sanding machine that is 95% dust free. By the way, that machine does work wonders. I have glass tables & they were dust free & no dust in the air.

I saw the Lord of the Board truck in our neighbourhood, and made a mental note as a potential contractor. Eventually, I needed to call someone to fix the ceiling in our dining room from a leak, and to finish a wall we had built in our basement. I wasn't sure if they would be interested in a small job, but the next day James showed up, gave us a price, and was friendly and courteous in all we discussed. They started the job the following week. The initial team came in, checked all the work we did, prepared the walls, and fixed the hole in the ceiling. They even repaired little cracks and dinged corners as part of the job. The mudding was done so well, there was very little sanding required. Any sanding that was done was sucked up by a special vacuum with HEPA filters. We were painting our walls within 3 hours after they left. All this to say, we had a great experience. James was attentive to the entire job, and followed up each day. And the price?? - very fair. Well worth every penny.

I found this demo and reno an unusually pleasant experience thanks to James and his very nice assistants. I loathe most things about most companies (plumbers repairs construction etc.) and handy men who come into your home as most don’t listen and do not respect your property and my experience is they basically lie about prices and time frames and have made my life miserable many times. As for James and Lord of the Board he couldn’t have been nicer nor more honest and trustworthy. Talk it out make it clear what you want and then you can relax! They won’t leave you hanging and you won’t get swindled. They are real people not phonies. Very reasonable pricing- it’s a deal . I like a deal and gentlemanly behaviour and a sense of humour goes a long way too- they’ll get you through it! He bent over backwards to get all the things done I needed fixed. I can’t believe such a mess I was in before the drywall could all turn out well and be so pleasant.

In 2024 James and his team did a very good job on our basement walls after a sump pump installation. No one wanted to take this job because it was hard (can't use screws) and had some parts under the staircase. I found him on the internet, completed hopeless, but he accepted the job and did it with a fair price.
Jason and his team are very oriented to the details and cleanness. I'm a returning client as he did other jobs for us after this one.
