Constraction reviews in Windsor, Ontario

We had James in to drywall the basement of our house. Glad I went with Lord of the Board. Very professional work. There was an issue (not his fault) that James dealt with by coming back and putting in the time and effort to make it right. Very respectable young man who is successfully growing his business.

James is very informative and priced very reasonably . The team was efficient and the work was done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend “Lord of the Board”.

I subcontracted James and his team to do a ceiling repair on one of my properties. They did an amazing job and at a very fair price.

Responded to my call and came to quote the job very quickly. Showed up when promised and very good communication throughout. Happy with the work and price and would recommend.

James is a man of his word. His prices are fair. He also has an amazing crew. He came in several times just to give us estimates as we had to change our design a few times. He works with a smile and gets the job done professionally. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

James is a true professional and his work quality is excellent. He is courteous and customer satisfaction is his priority. Highly recommend.

We are very happy with the work that James and his crew completed! He was always prompt and professional.

Had James and his crew complete one large and one smaller job at my home. James is excellent at communicating what work is required, next steps, and expected completion. His team, and particularly Cody, were meticulous with clean up and ensuring the space was left as it was found (which isn't easy with drywall work). Found James and his staff very personable and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others and to those I know who are in need of drywall repair/ replacement work.

If you need drywall work done, James and his team should be your choice. Fair pricing and easy to work with. Thanks for the great job.
Here is a photo Lord of the Board....rocks!

Great job James and the crew fixing the dry wall at my house. Skilled, professionals , humble and kind. And all for a very reasonable competitive price. You can tell that James is not in the business of gauging , but in the business of making a living just like all of us. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs dry wall done. Thanks for your service .

Highly recommend this company. Due to having to replace full house Kitec replacement homes James and his crew began right away and effortlessly had our home looking like it did prior to the holes for plumbing replacing. Very fair pricing, clean and quick.

Hired them to do my exterior facing walls for my house. They helped me with a great referral for an insulation guy also. So the whole process was seamless from tear down insulation to everything up and when it was done was informed the proper way to paint on brand new drywall that saved me from having to redo a job. So really appreciate that. Definitely I recommend

Out of the 5 calls and voicemails I had left looking for a company to complete the drywall job in our basement, James was the only to respond. He came out in a timely fashion and gave a very reasonable quote. James and his team worked efficiently in our basement, and kept us updated every step of the way. James was always transparent, and made himself available to take questions, even outside of work hours and on weekends. The work James and his crew did in our basement is excellent, and I would highly recommend this company.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5-Star Review for Lord of the Board

I recently hired Lord of the Board for drywall installation and finishing in my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, their team was professional, punctual, and detail-oriented.

The crew arrived right on time, kept the workspace clean, and treated my home with respect throughout the project. Their craftsmanship is outstanding — every seam is smooth, corners are sharp, and the walls look absolutely perfect once painted. They clearly take pride in their work, and it shows.

Communication was excellent as well. James explained every step of the process, provided a clear estimate upfront, and made sure I was completely satisfied before wrapping up. There were no surprises — just honest, high-quality work done right the first time.

If you’re looking for reliable drywall professionals who deliver top-notch results, I highly recommend Lord of the Board. I’ll definitely be using them again for future projects!

Sincerely,

Ken
Happy home owner

We had Kitec pipes replaced in our home and the plumbers had to cut 21 holes in our drywall. James, Keri and the entire team did a fantastic job with the patching, taping, mudding and sanding. They arrived on-time, responded to texts in a timely manner and went the extra mile to ensure that the job was done quickly and efficiently. Because of the equipment they used there was hardly any dust from the sanding. They are truly Lords & Ladies of the Board.

We could not have been happier with James and the whole team. They worked around the clock to get our project done by Christmas and went so above and beyond! James himself is one of the best people we’ve ever met and he honestly felt like family. It was so reassuring to have them in our home and we always knew we were in good hands. We would definitely use them again!

Lord of the Board did a fantastic job repairing our home after having our plumbing replaced. They were kind, respectful, informative and reliable. They always showed up when they said so and made sure to communicate when they were coming automatically. They did wonderful work and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Very responsive, efficient and professional. Contacted him on a Friday, did a site visit on the Saturday and started the work on Monday. Showed up everyday (which is very hard to find nowadays). His team was very professional and neat. Cleaned up daily and left the job site as they found it. Very meticulous to detail and didn’t leave the job until I was 100% satisfied with the quality. They were not the cheapest, but overall, they were the most qualified to meet my requirements. Cheapest is not always the best option. I would hire James and his team again for any small or large project. I had a 2,000 square foot basement that needed tape and mud. James’ dustless sanding equipment minimized the dust and mess throughout the rest of the house. I would highly recommend Lord of the Board for all your drywall needs.

James and his team did a terrific job on our large project. They installed resilient channel on all ceilings, new boards throughout and taping. The workmanship is top tier and we couldn’t be happier! I highly recommend James for any drywall project. He’s a great guy to work with through a project and follows through on everything.
