We used Ole Walkerville for a tankless water heater installation earlier this winter.

Their price was similar to other options and the business was new to me, but I’d seen it recommended in a neighbourhood Facebook group.

We had a genuinely excellent experience. I had a lot of direct contact with the owner, Alex, throughout the process. Nice guy! Most importantly, he was an excellent communicator—very easy to get ahold of and responsive via phone, email, and text.

The quality of the work, to my eye, was uniformly excellent. We’ve had compliments on the install from other tradespeople who’ve done work at the house since, plus a handful of friends and family.

It was a one-day install; there was no disruption to our hot water—or to our ability to go about our day generally. The crew was clean and competent.

Due to some miscommunication/lack of foresight on my part, we ran into a slight hiccup when we realized we didn’t have an appropriate electrical outlet to plug the new unit into. Alex recommended a (very good!) local electrician and even offered to split the cost of the work with me.

Will absolutely use Ole Walkerville again. Two thumbs up over here.

They were both friendly, professional and efficient. Most importantly, the problem was expertly rectified in a timely, tidy manner and they provided a 3 year guarantee to back up their work as well as a location discount...always a good thing! These guys are GREAT! Alex and his team were punctual and polite, and unclogged our bathtub drain (which has not drained properly in the 4 years we've lived here!) without disrupting our home and with almost zero clean-up afterward. We had a really old, leaky bathtub faucet and it seemed like it was going to be a pretty expensive fix. Alex was able to find a part and fix it for a fraction of what we thought we would have to spend. He could have just replaced the entire apparatus for more money, but didn’t.

Throughout the entire process, from the free estimate to the repair - Alex was extremely communicative.
