Appliance Repair reviews in Eugene, Oregon
-
I called them about repairing a freezer. Had a longish conversation with one of the repair persons. Was told that he would be out at my house that day between 4 and 5pm. He didn't show by 4:30 and I called to see if the plan was still on. Left a message. 5pm came and went. Nobody showed or called. I called the company early the next day... left a message. Have not heard a thing from them. From my experience, they rate 0 stars. Might have given them one star if they had even bothered to return my calls or let me know they would not be coming. Would I recommend them to anyone?? Absolutely not. (I had to give them a rating or it would not have posted my review. They do not even deserve that one star.
After writing my review, I got a very nice, apologetic response from the owner of the company and it was much appreciated. However, the damage was already done. -
Stay away from this company. I had them come out at my business to fix a hot case. They spent three hours looking at it and then then told me that they are unable to fix the hot case. I eventually just bought a new hot case.
Around 2-3 months later, I received a call from Joe, the owner of the company, at around 7 P.M. He asked me how my hot case is doing and I told him that I bought a new hot case. He then told me that there is an unpaid invoice of around $500. I asked him what this invoice was for. He told me that this is for him to send out the guys to fix my hot case.
I was shocked at the ridiculousness of this situation. First they are unable to fix my hot case and now they want $500 for NOT fixing my hot case. Also I never received any bill or invoice for this charge and the owner called me at 7 P.M., which is really strange.
This company is not qualified to fix appliances and then will be charge you money since they sent guys out to "fix" the appliance. This would be like a gas station charging you for gas even though your car gas cap did not open and gas station owner tells you that you owe for gas since he sent the guy out to put gas in your car. -
As is typical in my planned family gatherings something does not go as expected. . Needless to say the heating element went out in my oven. I called Hamilton Appliance Repair, explained my delima and gave them the Make and Model of my oven. A service technicicisn with the much needed part attived in a timely manner. He was professional, courteous and replaced my element with efficiency. I will use Hamilton Appliance again if a need arises im the future.

This is absolutely THE BEST business! Joe has helped me twice with repair projects. Each time he walked me through ways I could resolve each problem without a service call. I’m exceptionally grateful for his expertise, his kindness, and his help. I highly recommend Hamilton Electric and Gas! You can’t go wrong and you won’t be sorry.

I own a restaurant and my large freezer full of meat and other items went out yesterday. I called Hamilton Appliance repair and within an hour, they came and fixed it and saved my hundreds of dollars of meat and other items. Thank goodness for Hamilton Appliance Repair! Great job!

We hired Hamilton Appliance Repair to fix our GE Profile dishwasher a week ago. Our dishwasher was relatively new but beyond warranty. In short order, they identified the problem and made the repair. They were punctual, respectful of our property and knowledgeable. We would definitely contact this company again.

If I could give Joe 10 stars I would. Joe was amazing at trouble shooting issues with my Kitchen Aid microwave/oven wall combo. You can tell he knows his stuff and he went above and beyond to help me get my appliance fixed. I will be recommending him to my friends and family and I will be a repeat customer if I need such services in the future. Amazing customer service which is so rare these days. Thanks again Joe!

I had the opportunity to get my dryer repaired by Hamilton Electric and Gas. They are the best in the business. Great Job Done! Highly Recommended!

I work at a small Gastropub in Corvallis and (of course) our deep fryer died in the middle of a notoriously busy weekend! I called Hamilton and they promptly returned my call and showed up! Had to wait a day because of parts trouble, not their fault. They were promt and professional and will 100% to using them again.

I cannot recommend this business. The repairman who came to my house was very polite and professional. That is the only reason I didn’t give 1 star. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for an estimate. When I call, they tell me they’ll get back to me. They never do. Very unhelpful and bad customer service. I paid $95 for the house call and they have done nothing for me. I hope they see this review and improve their service.

Great and friendly service!
Thanks! -
I'm giving one star because the technician was great, the prices were fair, but my overall experience was awful. From the time I first called them to the time I got my stove repaired was over a month. This entire time (thank God it was summer) I had to cook everything on my grill. I had to continually call the office to see when the repairs would happen, and don't bother calling after hours, there's no voicemail. The receptionist said at first she ordered the incorrect part, then she ordered the right part but it was backordered, then oops, that company doesn't have that part at all, then ordered it from somewhere else entirely, shipping taking 3-4 days when it should have been overnighted at this point. As a shop who's primary function is to repair appliances, this kind of ordering issue should never have happened. The only reason I stuck with them is because they're the only people in town I could find that deal with LG appliances.

I was really impressed with this business. I looked them up on the internet and checked the reviews. They didn't let me down. Prompt call back, fair price, and when they checked the stove they found it was not repairable after they searched for the parts that were no longer available due to the age of the appliance. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for a reputable appliance repair place.

I needed an element for my dryer and nowhere around where I live (Roseburg) stocks any parts. So I called up there and they had one, but they were closing sooner than the time it would take me to drive there. They offered to hang out until I could get there and I gladly accepted. Their kindness alone earns them five stars, because it's pretty uncommon in my experience.

Riley was the technician that came to look at our fridge and freezer today and what an amazing job he did figuring out the issue right away - thank you for being so friendly and providing great service we definitely would recommend him and his team❤️

I had an issue with my front loading washing machine. I had washed some rugs and it appeared that all of the backing had came off all of them( note to self do not wash rugs in washing machine) I called and the repair person William came out the next morning. He was professional and patient with me and told me how to clean filter and left everything clean. I would highly recommend this business for any appliance repair. They don’t gouge you with the price

Our dishwasher sprung a leak and wasn’t cleaning our dishes. They came and diagnosed the issue and had it fixed within 2 days :)

On July 10, 2015 I called At Your Service to have a 24 year old Sears Kenmore washer repaired. Water was leaking either from the hoses in the back of the washer or from underneath. Daniel responded and he was excellent! He was knowledgeable, efficient and very nice. The 30 & 60 min price for the repair service is higher than other places I checked, but based on my great experience I would certainly call At Your Service again!

We have used "At Your Service" for several years now for a variety of needs with our appliances. They have been very helpful and honest over the phone and in person. My husband knows how to make many repairs on appliances, but when he is stumped, we call at Your Service. These guys have tons of experience and know how to solve appliance problems. They are reliable and trustworthy, and they do a great job on the repairs.

For many years I have purchased parts at “At Your Service” in Glenwood . Their knowledge makes it worth the drive. Then last year our refrigerator, stove and dishwasher all caved within a short time. I didn’t have time to chase so many problems at once. They sent a service man named Daniel that was steady and extremely good at his work. Not only did he fix everything, he was able to explain in depth the causes and what had broken. Back in their shop, David put extra effort into solving our refrigerator problem. This was much more than swapping parts (which I had been doing). He took the time to track the temperature swings over a long period and then found the problem.
It is very rare that I will review anything but these people deserve a huge thank you. -
Riley was great, Hr quickly identified the issues: the oven element had cracked, so when it heated up, the element would separate and stop the current. (Frustrating that appliances are not made like they used to be! This KitchenAid dual-fuel range is only about 3 years old.)
