Jordan is fantastic- I will definitely contact him anytime we have a repair need. He was responsive when communicating with me, transparent in the pricing of the repair and service +fair pricing, and timely in getting to the appointment and completing the repair. We actually had another repairman come out first to look at our washer, because they could come out earlier. However, after paying $145 for the service repairman to literally spend one minute looking at our washer and four minutes writing up the invoice, confirming the issue was what I told them it was on the phone, I was told that they didn't have the part and they would need to order it the next day to hopefully get it delivered within 3-5 days, and would charge another $340 (they refused to even ballpark this repair cost prior to coming out initially or even at the appointment; I had to wait until the next day when they were going to order the part). Frustrated with what seemed like repair extortion, I contacted Jordan again, as he had initially quoted a price for the likely repair, but couldn't come out for a couple of days. He had the part on hand, could schedule us within the same 5 business days of the other repairman, and the repair was less than the repair cost with the other repairman. Don't hesitate with going with Jordan for your repairs. His service quality, fair pricing, transparency, and professionalism is worth it. It would have saved us $145 to go with him from the get go and I will be doing so from here on out. Thank you, Jordan!

We are very happy with Jordan's work and excellent customer service. He went the extra mile and even redid our dryer ducting on our very old home.

We did not get a hold of him right away and left a message. He got back to us very quickly and made sure to be in constant contact with us through text message. Jordan was very up front with costs and expectations. We were also very happy with his invoice system, as we deem Square as a very safe form of payment.

We highly recommend Farrs Appliance Repair, from Michelle who set up our appointment to the two servicemen who did the work, everyone was cheerful and competent. The repairmen not only fixed our oven but also adjusted our stovetop burners which use propane gas so that they can be set to a simmer. I will definitely use Farrs again for appliance purchase and repair!

Jordan came out to fix our oven and he was great. Fast, efficient and knowledgeable and it had it fixed within 2 days of his initial diagnosis. Highly recommend!

Jordan was amazing and quick. Extremely knowledgeable on the issues my washer was having, which was initially the reason we need work. It was the day before when our dryer started making noise. He knew right away what was wrong and was able to fix both problems in less than about 45 minutes.

Ran into an issue with my 2022 LG dryer. I knew the solution (replacing a control board) but didn't want to attempt the repair myself in case something went sideways. Jordan was able to order the board (which was around $300) and got it installed quickly and efficiently. Definitely plan to use his services when I run into appliance issues in the future.

Stellar service! I would highly recommend J Farr’s Appliance Repair. Jordan had the problem diagnosed in under 10 minutes, and even reclaimed a lost drill bit from the lint trap.

He didn’t have the necessary fuse with him, and instead of making us wait until Monday, he showed me exactly what part to buy and how to replace it myself. He also explained why the problem occurred and how to prevent it in the future. Now my dryer is back in action and we’ll have clean clothes for the work week. I can’t emphasize enough how grateful I am for his honesty and help!

When something in your house breaks and you just want it to be back to normal again, you hope you find somebody good on Google search results. I am so glad that I found Jordan. I originally contacted him about our dryer having issues about a year ago. After a great repair experience on that, I recently got in touch with him again because our refrigerator was acting up. Jordan is great to communicate with, arrives quickly and on time, and has the knowledge and expertise to fix the problem. He’s our go to person for anything fix it. Thank you, Jordan!

Jordan was such a help and guide! He came to look at an older washing machine, and confirmed what I suspected was the case; it would cost more to repair than to replace. He didn't just leave though, he asked about my dryer to make sure it didn't need a repair, too.

Then he was super helpful in answering a bunch of questions about where to buy a machine I can trust, what brands are the most reliable and durable, front vs top loader, agitator vs no agitator...the list goes on. He answered every question easily and never held back the 'why.'

To my surprise, on my house call bill, he also gave a very detailed summary of his visit including a breakdown of my current washing machine, how much the repair would cost and what he suggested and the conversation for what to buy.

At the end of the day he also responded to a text in regards to the machine I was buying and confirmed it was a good find. It's nice to have someone I feel comfortable having in my home, and I feel like he's the kind of repair guy you don't ever want to lose! Clean, kind, courteous, and a great communicator (he texted ahead of time because his previous stop took longer than expected). He's a keeper!

They are fantastic! They always fix our problems!

We had an appointment scheduled and the scheduled time came and went. After an hour or so, we tried to contact them for an updated ETA, but no response. We took time off from our work, only to have them no-show and ignore us. I wish we read the other reviews before scheduling. It appears we're not the only ones to experience this.

Two days ago I called Hamilton to deal with a faulty steam kettle. I never had the courtesy of a reply. So sad. They used to be the go-to place for food service repair. I would give them zero stars, but that's not an option.
