Constraction reviews in Eugene, Oregon

Gruwell Roofing installed 2 tube type skylights in our home. Matt was very professional, had good communication and really looked at the roof and attic space before estimating the job. The job was completed on time and with great results. We will use Gruwell for all our roofing needs.

Gruwell Roofing & Restoration recently completed reroofing our home. Without any hestitation I would recommend them to my friends. From the bidding process to job completion they were professional, thorough and excellent with communicating. They followed their timeline, cleaned up every day before they left, and gave me daily updates on how they were doing. Their pricing was competitive with other companies that also submitted a bid.

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Gruwell Roofing. I worked with Erin on every facet of the project. His crew was polite and cleaned up everything when they were done. My roof had several issues and Erin addressed each item professionally and with minimal hassle. I am super pleased with their work and professionalism.

Erin (Gruwell),
It was really great working with you and your staff (Gruwell Roofing and Restoration)! You kept the work site clean at the end of every day. You kept me informed as to what was accomplished each day and what the plan was for the next day. At all times, you and your workers were respectful and professional. I really appreciate your attention to detail and customer service. I would highly recommend you to any future customers.

Thanks for the great service!

Janese

Gruwell Roofing & Restoration replaced our roof. Matt and his team went above and beyond in their project coordination and execution and were exceptional to work with every step of the way. Their awareness of the potential impact of roof replacement work and their focus on both a quality experience and end product really made all the difference for us as customers. We enthusiastically recommend them!

Everything was great from start to finish. They kept the work area clean and protected my landscaping, cleaning up all debris after taking down the old roof and installing the new one. The roof looks great. The crew was professional and polite and respectful. Erin was great and very responsive, addressed all my concerns and questions and kept me apprised of the schedule. Highly recommend Gruwell

Erin and his crew did a super job installing a new roof on our home after our old roof had outlived its life. In addition they also installed a new skylight to replace the existing one. Their work was professional from the safety precautions they took when they started the job to the clean up after the job was finished. They worked during the extreme heat that Eugene was experiencing earlier this summer and completed the job on time!! Kudos to you and your crew!! I would highly recommend Gruwell Roofing to anyone who is looking for an honest and experienced company.

I chose Gruwell Roofing & Restoration for my new roof gutters and shed roof repair, and I have had a positive experience so far, from the first time Brandon came out to the crew that’s on my roof now. The company has been professional, personal, hardworking, and even nice to my dogs!

I was looking to get a sun tube leak fixed and called GRUWELL roofing. Great service and affordable. He got right on the project and did a wonderful job. Friendly and Competent. I highly recommend them

We would give Gruwell Roofing 10 stars if we could! They replaced our roof and added 4 Sun Tunnels. The entire experience from start to finish was great. Most importantly, the work was very well done and accomplish on time and on budget. Not only were they the lowest bid, but they were able to get to work almost immediately. The crew was diligent and easy to engage with. Every part of the process was clear and transparent - no surprises.

WOW! I hired Gruwell to replace our roof and to say they were absolutely amazing in an understatement. Erin was super friendly and highly professional and they recommended the best products for our roof. Communication was amazing and they got the job done with zero issues. We recently purchased the home and haven't moved in yet (we are still out of state). I was a little nervous about having contractors working at the house without me there to monitor (I had a really bad experience getting a roof replaced on another home) but Erin sent me photos of the job as things progressed and stayed in touch through the entire process. I went down to look at the finished product and it's impeccable. I wish every company I worked with was like these guys. If you are looking for roofers don't even bother looking any farther. I promise you won't be disappointed. Hire them now.

I am writing on behalf of my father whose English is not as fluent, but he told me that Gruwell Roofing was so easy and flexible to work with and that they did a great job with our roof and skylight. The project took only 3 days and everything was on schedule. He was very glad to have found them (Matt and Erin, the owners) and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof!

My neighbor recommended Gruwell Roofing, and from the beginning of our communications I found Erin and Matt very professional and responsive. Erin came quickly to do the estimate and whenever I had a question he responded immediately, sending information and articles about ventilation and roofing for me to read so I could understand my options. Then when time came for the installation, he and his brother came with a really fine crew. They were a pleasure to have working on the house and did a beautiful job in a very short time.
The roof looks great and is meticulously finished, and the ridge vent we decided to install is already making a huge difference in the temperature inside the house. I would recommend Erin and Matt with no reservations.

Fantastic roofing company. They did an absolutely beautiful job installing metal roofing (it wasn’t an easy job) and did it very reasonably and just in time to protect our building against the winter rains. Really professional and pleasant crew. My general contractor thought they were the best roofers he had ever seen in the Eugene Springfield area. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again for any roofing jobs!

We were very pleased with our experience with Gruwell Roofing. We needed a new roof to prep for our plan to put up solar panels. We got 4 bids and chose Gruwell. Price was fair, work was on time and final results are awesome. Easy to work with and communicate with. All good. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a roofing company with unparalleled integrity and exceptional craftsmanship, look no further than Gruwell Roofing & Restoration. Though I haven't personally utilized their services, my experience with their team has left me thoroughly impressed.

This company stands out for its unwavering moral spine and dedication to doing what's right. Their commitment to honesty and transparency in every aspect of their work is truly commendable. From their detailed and fair estimates to their open communication throughout the project, Gruwell Roofing & Restoration, exemplifies what it means to operate with the highest ethical standards.

In November Gruwell Roofing replaced the roof on my house converting to a ridge vent and adding soffit intake vents as needed. Erin and his crew kept me up to date on all issues they encountered as they did the necessary work such as pointing out the deteriorated flashing around my chimney and inquiring about a roof fan that no longer was needed. They made the appropriate repairs to both once I gave my okay in a timely manner. Their attention to detail, the depth of their knowledge and their daily communication made the reroofing a stress free project for me.
The entire crew treated me with kindness and respect.
Previously I had Gruwell Roofing put in a Solar Tube working with Matt. He also kept me informed as his crew worked on that project. I greatly appreciate working with this talented and skilled family. I highly recommend them.

Gruwell was great with communication before, during and after the roofing project was done. They were clean and efficient during the project leaving very little mess! High quality work, and nice people to work with!

We recently had Gruwell replace our roof and convert to a ridge-vent and add additional venting. They also did the shed to match. The entire process was smooth and exceeded my expectations. Matt, Erin and Tobyn were all excellent in communicating with us about questions on the project while we were getting estimates and ultimately sealed the deal with us by how responsive, helpful and low pressure they were. No down payment!?!? “Why would I charge you for work I haven’t done yet?” Wow!!!

They explained the advantages of Malarkey shingles over other popular brands and we were excited to install a roof with materials manufactured in Oregon that clean the air of pollutants! They completed the project in about 3.5 days and did a great job cleaning up after. Their crew were all very professional and our neighbors complimented that as well.

I contacted them about a minor cosmetic issue after the project. Erin reached out to the manufacturer for the best solution and came back out and was able to get that taken care of.

And….all said and done we saved money by choosing Gruwell.

We highly recommend Gruwell for your roofing project.

I recommend this business at the highest level. They came out on short notice, and did emergency repairs to my roof after a severe tree strike penetrated my roof and ceiling. Their timely repair prevented HUGE DAMAGE. Amazing service, amazing team, and just the best company! Thank you!!

Gruwell just finished our roof and we are extremely satisfied. They went above and beyond by replacing poorly installed plywood, repairing damaged chimney flashing, and repairing a broken rafter in our attic. The lead roofer texted me progress pictures throughout the project so that i knew exactly what repairs they made.

We got quotes from 4 roofing companies and these guys were not the lowest, but the best value because they use better materials (malarkey shingle - made in Oregon) and install a ridge vent.

They are a smaller operation so I had confidence my roof was going to be installed by the Gruwell themselves, and not get sub-contracted out.
