Five stars for Contractors Electric - our project posed a bit of an extra hurdle as we needed some re-wiring done in a house on a concrete slab with NO attic space. Despite the added degree of difficulty, John and the guys at Contractors Electric got it done and we couldn't be happier! Great service, quality work, and they won't gouge your wallet (despite needing to come back a few extra times and use all of their ingenuity in fixing our issue!). These guys know their stuff, so if you have an electrical issue, do yourself a favor and hire the right guys to fix it the first time.

Great service!! Called because we had been told by another electric company that our issue wasn't able to be fixed. So I called Contractors Electric because of all the great reviews and the next morning Jeff came out and looked our building over, found our issue and got it solved with an hour. Fast and reliable. We are going to be keeping our business with Contractors Electric.

I had a light switch and fan put in my bathroom I was remodeling. Everything works fine but the switch box cut out was extremely jagged. Had to pay a contractor to come in and patch up the big gaps on top and bottom of the cut out for the switch box. He had to puddy, paint, and sand it so it looked normal again. Reached out to the email listed at the bottom of my bill to see if I could get a discount to counter my extra cost due to the poor quality cut in the wall, never heard back. Opted to just pay my over 800$ bill.

Great customer service. Made it out to my house in a timely fashion. Worker did request that my geriatric dogs be kept outside; tough decision on my part, but did understand and respect his request. Thank you for the prompt professional and clean service.

They were on time. And even let me know of a service cancellation so they could come out earlier. The man they set out did a amazing job and found a neat work around so the hookup could be done with out needing to redo the length of the wiring. I defiantly recommend them!

Called them Friday morning and they sent someone out before lunch the same day. Frendly, knowledgable technician and reasonably-priced work. I dropped in to pay with cash (as they charge a $10 dollar fee or 2.5% service charge) and Steve hooked me up with a personally-tailored paid receipt without even counting my money. All in all, Contractors Electric provides good service with a smile. The only caveat is the credit card service fee. With an hourly rate slightly above the average in town, it would be nice if they'd bite the bullet and pay the service charge for the non-check-writing generation of young homeowners.

Out of 4 people called, these were the only one's who could come on a same-day call. An outlet started sparking, and it happened on my only day off work for that week. I called at about 3:30 PM, and they had someone there by 4 PM. All the other's couldn't come out until the following day, when I had to work. The man they sent was very pleasant, and did his job well. Any issues I had, were immediately taken care of, and they were willing to work with me on cost. I will hire them again! Thanks!

Competent and professional for the repaired overheated junction box. Just know that you will pay ~$130/ hr. for a trained electrician to drive and/or get parts at times. Seemed like an unreasonable amount of the labor charge (2.25 hrs. in total) was for time not actually on-site. Arrival and diagnosis (30 min. max.), left for ~1hr. to check on another job (which I am assuming was billed to THAT job) and get parts, returned to do repair which was rather quick since the whole house power needed to be turned off. I understand that electricians need to be paid when they are working (no matter what they are doing apparently), but rates should be adjusted to reflect time not actually utilizing highly-valued knowledge and skills, otherwise the business model remains vulnerable with customers.

Josh was amazing. He accessed our tiny crawl space which was obstructed by masses of insulation and performed a magical repair. Another electrician had quoted us in the thousands with a wall demolition. Josh was able to fix the issue much less expensively and without property damage through thorough and clever detective work and ingenuity. I recommend this company exclusively for electric work.

We thought our breaker box had died, our whole house needed to be rewired and we were prepared to spend an arm and a leg to fix what we thought was a catastrophic failure in our electrical system. We had a few electricians try to charge us for a quote, some who scheduled appointments to come out and did not show up. We made an appointment with contractors electric and Jeff came out on time and immediately solved the problem, he reassured us that our breaker box was fine, and that the area that needed to rewired could be done at a fraction of the cost. We'll be going to contractors electric for all our future electrician needs.

My friends over at Mechanical Air & Heating referred me over to Contractors Electric and boy am I glad they did! I discover I had a damaged circuit breaker that was causing my dryer not to work.

When I called in I spoke to Jeff and he told me that he would re-route one of his guys over to my house within the hour. Also, he quoted me a reasonable hourly rate for the work.

Within 30 minutes Nathan showed up and was very professional and courteous. He examined the breaker box and dryer outlet, then showed me what the problem was. He proceeded to fix it very quickly and then addressed a few other smaller electrical issues my wife had on our fix it list.

I would highly recommend this company to anybody in the Eugene/Springfield area who is looking for a quality electrician for an affordable price.

Had small job, replace 3 kitchen light fixtures. The electrician, Nick, called to say he was 15 min away which we appreciated. He arrived on time, was very professional, courteous, and friendly. Rates are competitive. Great business, we will have them back, soon.

$142.50 for 10 minutes of work and to drive 18.4 miles ??!!! I had an issue with my garage light and so I called Contractors Electric. The electrician came out and found that the outlet just needed to be reset, only took 10-15 minutes! I was satisfied until I received the invoice showing that the electrician put that he completed 1.5 hours of work! NOT OKAY. I contacted the company to inquire about why it was so high. Jeff proceeded to tell me that it was in fact OKAY and not a mistake. How can a company justify charging this amount when the work does not support the price? I am not talking about quality, just about how this company thought they could charge this amount without any repercussions. WRONG.

I called Contractors Electric because I had lost power to part of my house when my RV was plugged into an outdoor outlet. The electrician came out and pointed out a 3rd electrical panel that I was unaware of at my property. There was a tripped breaker, which was reset and all was good. He was at my residence all of 5 minutes and they still charged me for an hour, at a rate of $115. This is beyond absurd and I will not be calling them again for any reason. Last Spring I had a plumber come to my house to look at my main water line, and confirm that a repair that I did was sufficient. He came and chatted with me about the repair and inspected it and did not charge me anything because he said that he prefers to gain customers long term over a short term profit. It's too bad Contractors Electric doesn't have the same values as a business.

We had an emergency repair required. The people at Contractors Electric went out of their way to fit this repair into their busy schedule.

Also, I want to take the time to commend Wes (the electrician) for the terrific job he did. He handled the work in a professional, competent, knowledgeable manner. His demeanor and attitude is very pleasant. Overall, he represented Contractors Electric in an exemplary way.

Had a tech come out to replace a ceiling fan and install a bath fan. When I made the appointment, no one bothered to say that I would be charged for his drive time to me, when I live quite a ways out of town. Received the invoice, was almost double what I was expecting, because I was charged for almost 2 hours of drive time (I live 40 mins from this company). I called the office two days in a row to ask about the invoice, before I finally got a call back on the third day. Guess I should have gone with a local company instead, and asked for more information on pricing upfront. Lesson learned, but beware if you use this company!

Great job guys! They arrived on time every day and were very responsive, discussing the work as they went along and cleaning up perfectly afterward. Had new grounds rewired to several areas in the house, and what could have been a three day job only took two days and even finished earlier on the second day. Would definitely call again - thanks!

During a recent cold period, one of our insert wall heaters went out unexpectedly. We called around and Contractors Electric was able to send someone out the next day. The electrician was friendly, efficient, and professional. Fortunately, a local shop had a replacement unit in stock and Contractors was able to replace the unit within a short time frame. The invoice was reasonably and overall we were very pleased with the service provided.

They were amazing! They bent over backward to fit me into their busy work schedule. Ensuring my home was ready for inspection by my deadline. The electricians were very polite & professional . I can't say enough. Thank You Guy's!!
