Ive been in the plumbing industry for 20 years, Doug and doug jr are very knowledgeable and reliable. They have gone above and beyond for many years, to help me find old and unique parts that are tough to find. I highly recommend them for all you parts needs.

    Update below...
    Wouldn't warranty his work.
In our home buying process, our realtor's home warranty company chose The Plumbing Works to fix a leaking hot water valve for the washing machine. The Plumbing Works invoiced $65 for the service call and $.08 for a seal. Our closing date got pushed back so when I moved in and hooked up the washing machine, I turned on the hot water valve and it immediately leaked! So I called The Plumbing Works because I figured they would want to make it right. I was informed that since their "repair" had been performed more than 30 days ago, there was no more warranty. Despite the fact that they were the last ones to even touch the valve - nothing had been done to the valve since they "repaired" it. Literally nobody was even in the house, let alone hooked up a wash machine.
I lost all confidence in this for that reason and when my home warranty company wanted to call them to repair it again - I said no.

UPDATE: The sellers agent got the home warranty during the listing/selling process. The leaking valve was discovered as part of the home inspection process. The warranty company sent The Plumbing Works to repair the valve. Our closing date was pushed back. Upon closing, the warranty was reissued in our name. Thirty days had lapsed and you stated there was no warranty of your work because of that. Simple fact remains; the valve was not fixed and no one had touched it since your repair. Sticking to a thirty day warranty clause in this situation has lost your company my business and earned a one star review.
Thanks for responding and stay well also.

Jim from the Plumbing Works just finished resolving a long term leakage problem under our kitchen sink that has been causing issues including objectionable smells and standing water.
What a wonderfully experienced professional, the kind of craftsmanship you don’t experience as much as you should these days.
Thanks to Jim and the Plumbing Works!

Doug came to our home this morning to unclog our drain and we are so grateful! We’ve been dealing with this problem since the day we moved into our house last month, and we attempted to fix it ourselves multiple times. Our home warranty sent The Plumbing Works out here and Doug was incredibly professional, kind and quick at unclogging our drain. It’s so nice to have my sink back. Thank you so much!

I've tried others. Never calling any other business but this one. The Plumbing Works staff is friendly, professional and excellent with repair and replacements. We had them fix something that quite a few others had been in to fix and it was still leaking and problematic. Now the washing machine drains perfectly. Don't go elsewhere. Seriously.

I have used The Plumbing Works for most of my plumbing jobs since 1991. Never had to call them to repeat a job. Always polite. They work clean without leaving a mess. Payments by check or credit card have all cleared without problem. Each appointment has been kept as promised. Only times I have not used them are when they were scheduled out for many months due to a hard long freeze here in Eugene so many businesses and homes had scheduled repairs. Another time the required installation was not one they had staff to complete. Billings have been as estimated except when obvious old plumbing pipes were corroded badly needing more work inside walls than originally expected. I run a foster home for disabled adults so it is possible I used a plumber a bit more often than most due to poor decisions by brains that are less than optimal. First three installs in 1992 were pressure balanced shower valves to prevent repeated on off faucet play from freezing then scalding people during showers. An excellent upgrade if I might recommend anything.

I hired Plumbing Works to fix a small leak from my toilet. I paid $320.00. I think they fixed the leak. Problem is that while fixing the leak they broke the toilet. The handle jiggles and will only flush about half of the time. If it does flush the toilet will run continuously for at least 5 minutes. This did not happen before they messed with my toilet. I tried all of the usual tricks to adjust the handle and stop the running with no luck. When I very politely asked them to return and fix what they broke they rudely told me to go buy the parts and fix it myself or just buy a new toilet. They were rude, unprofessional and poorly trained. Now I’m stuck paying someone else to fix what they broke.

Hired the company through American home shield for an issue. They’re very good at communicating. Jim from plumbing works was on time, figured the problem and fixed the issue effectively. He was very friendly and I really appreciated his help.

Don't show up in person. Yesterday I showed up to ask about a water heater repair with pictures. I went behind the building to use a restroom before coming in and they were having my vehicle towed.

After visiting Jerry's and Consolidated Supply, they referred me to Plumbing Works. Plumbing Works went above and beyond to identify the brand of an old trim piece. Rare to find such good customer service. These guys are great.

Have you ever called to schedule an appointment with a company and when you do, you expect them to call, text, or email confirming that they will be showing up, right? Well not with this company. Not only do they just show up to your home without calling or confirming a date and time but they call you a liar, a flake, and tell you to change your first name before hanging up like a rebellious teenager unable to get a word in.

This is the owners behavior I just described. I can see where his staff get it because before receiving this display of lack of professionalism from the owner Doug Cedar, I received the same disrespect and immaturity from his so called manager Doug Schirmer who at first stated I left a voicemail saying I did "not" want a confirmation call.

When I ask for this voicemail to be sent to me he agrees but continues to argue that he did call me and left me a voicemail. Not only do I not have a missed call or voicemail but after confronting Schirmer in his last statement claiming I said I needed no confirmation, l asked why he is now claiming he did call.

Schirmer called me a liar and still did not send me the voicemail he claims I left at this point. The owner then said that when they called me a woman answered the phone and said to not call again. I live alone with no kids so that “call” was never made to me. The owner was trying to find any reason to not take accountability for their mistake and lack on how to be a professional company that knows how to dial the correct phone number.

If these actions show the kind of work that they put into your home, I think I'm the lucky one to have dodged a bullet with this place. Save your breath and your time.

Doug Schirmer wants to say he's not going to sink to my level when he's sunk even lower. Continues to act outside of a professional manner, I mean what kind of response is that for a "company"? I left not one but two voicemails asking for a call back and one saying quote "Please return my call if you need me to talk to you on the phone to reschedule it, if not please reschedule me. Will not be available tomorrow morning anymore". I did NOT once say there was no need to call me back.

Not only did I not receive a call back, message, email, or much less a voicemail to confirm but I have Schirmer emailing me quote "You are cherry picking, listen to what comes after that. And, you can do reviews as I can respond to them. Just like I can review a garage band if I like." First of all, I'm not part of a "garage band" or a band at all. Second of all, interesting choice of words to say to a Hispanic. After telling me to change my first name? Telling me I'm "Cherry Picking" huh? Immature, unprofessional, and dishonest.

Not only that, but Doug Schirmer told me on the phone that Doug Cedar was the owner when I'm seeing owner next to the name Doug Schirmer in reviews. The dishonesty and lack of integrity is showing the fear of accountability again.

How truly sad it is to see a band and company pay for the actions of this one.
Schirmer is now blindly connecting my name to other bands and companies who share the same name and leaving false bad reviews on them. But that's okay, I have contacted those who share the same name as I and updated them on the situation and Schirmer's information.

Also blaming it on me or other companies for every bad review they receive is comical, embarrassing, and low. Like I said before, fear of accountability. Reporting my review to Yelp to get my evidence removed says a lot, but attempting a scare tactic like stating my review is illegal speaks louder. Please educate yourselves. Happy New Years The Plumbing "Works".

Just look at the overwhelming negative reviews on this “company” on Yelp and Google not treating customers with any importance or more importantly respect. I strongly encourage looking elsewhere.

    Stay away from this business.

My experience with Michael’s plumbing knowledge was very satisfactory. He repaired what was needed to my satisfaction in record time and I would recommend contacting him for your plumbing needs!

These guys are the definition of professionals. They did what they said they were going to do and did it on time, with quality work at a very fair price. They helped me with the plumbing with a total bathroom remodel. They put in two sinks, put in the plumbing for a brand new beautiful two-sided shower with two shower heads on both sides with the valve to turn on the water and the temperature control to the water on the wall before entering the shower enclosure. They also moved the plumbing for a toilet from the exiting location and put the new toilet on the other side of the room. They did all of this including handling and coordinating the permits. They were great with the other contractors and played a crucial role in finishing the job.

I cannot thank these guys enough. Do yourself a favor and use these guys for your plumbing needs. They sure made project turn out great.

I am very pleased with Tyler and Michael of Territorial Plumbing. I was so pleased with their work on my outside faucet, I had them come back and install a new kitchen faucet and fix my leaky bathtub faucet. Great work again! I highly recommend them if you need a plumber!
