I really got excellent service from the AAA Quality Appliance Care repair technicians who repaired my LG dryer. I want to give both of these excellent service guys (Michael and David) credit for the good job that they did. I was very satisfied with their work. Thanks!

my clothes dryer died, mid-cycle, for no apparent reason. called AAA Quality Appliance and they sent out a repairman, Michael. he found the problem in a manner of minutes, explained it thoroughly and why it happened. he then went on to replace the defective part (a fuse at the back of the dryer) within about 15 minutes and even gave me a discount card should the other fuse fail, told me how to be sure the vent to the outdoors could/should be cleaned if necessary. i could not be happier with their courteous and service and will definitely not only use them again if i have an appliance problem but will also refer others to their excellent company. as i sit here i can hear my dryer happily running again!

Mike from AAA showed up at 8 and went right to work. He took apart my freezer after I unloaded it, took care of the problem and put freezer back together in about 30 minutes. Pleasant, courteous, and really fast. He saw problem immediately and to work he went. Also love having a 1 hour window instead of a 2-4 hour window. Was very happy with service.

Scammed by incompetent techs who failed to mention my dryer drum was cracked. Per their recommendation, ordered parts. After the replacement parts were installed ($253.00) the tech tells me the drum needs to be replaced, a $400.00 part. The $64.95 was supposed to pay for a thorough inspection. I never would have proceeded with ordering replacement parts had the told me the drum was cracked. Avoid avoid avoid. Never offered an apology, discount, or explanation. Yelp confirms same experience by other customers. I didnt know it was the customer's job to ask a professional the condition of the drum.
You wouldn't go back to an auto mechanic who failed to tell you your engine block was cracked after repairing a broken headlight - why would you bother calling AAA Quality Appliance Care?
EDIT: Got a call from someine a few days after leaving this review. They sent me a refund check for the entire amount $253.00. -
I went home for lunch and found my refrigerator and freezer not working. I called AAA and they had someone out to my house within 3 hours!! After finding a part that still had a warranty I was only charge for a service call and that saved me a few hundred dollars!! They were quick to respond, excellent service and just really nice people from the receptionist to the technician, very professional!! This was the second time that I had AAA do a repair for me and I will definitely call them again!

Had them come out and see ice our fridge, the technician did an outstanding job and was very quick and precise. At the end he walked us through the cause of the problem and how he fixed it really giving us a good feeling about the quality of work he did. We would highly recommend this company for anyone needing repairs done. Once again outstanding job.

I would NOT recommend this place.
At first the first gentleman that came over to my home for a simple dishwasher repair had gotten everything wrong and it took weeks to get a simple replacement part in. He acted on and had a weird in a hurry don’t care disposition. The second gentleman came over and willingly admitted that the first guy didn’t know what he was doing which was pretty obvious to begin with. Three months later we finally got her dishwasher working, but two weeks after that there was a huge leak from the hose that the second gentleman put in. Our floors are ruined and we were left to pay for them out of pocket, they did not take initiative and force us to claim a homeowners claim through our own insurance. This place in general takes forever and at the end is just not worth it.
They need to train their employees on efficiency as well as take responsibility for their own wrongdoings. -
I found this company through Angie's list and they have done some repairs for my employer at our office. I called to schedule an appointment to have my home refrigerator looked at. It had not been cooling as it should, but was still working. Initially I was told they were quite busy and could not make me an appointment until the following week, which I was fine with. When asked for my address which is in Cottage Grove (approximately 20 miles from their location) I was quoted their standard service charge and $2.00 per mile to come out. The young lady then asked me to wait while she consulted her supervisor. When she returned to the phone, she said they were too busy to make a trip to Cottage Grove and could not help me. I asked if they could refer me to someone who was not too busy to help me and I was given the name of a company with a 3 star rating. I didn't take their recommendation. What company is too busy for business? I had to give 1 star to be able to post, but I prefer no stars for you!!

Amazing service! Michael did a perfect job diagnosing and repairing our washing machine problem. His work was quick and efficient and he was very kind and knowledgeable. We have worked with AAA before and are always so pleased with the quality of work! Thank you!!

*second edit: I received a more than adequate check to cover the damages and offset the bill.
Hats off to the AAA appliance people for making it right. I’ve increased my rating due to the service from that team.
First edit:Manager called me back apologized for the issue and said they would take care of it and discuss it with the repair person. The office staff seem very professional. I'll update again with any results.
Expensive - Damaged clothes
The repair person knocked over a bottle of bleach splattering clothes that were waiting to be washed. Offered no apology, didn't clean up after himself we were left to clean and throw away the bleach spotted clothes that were ruined. We had to air out the room before we could enter and the spilled bleach It took longer to clean up, than the repair person spent inside our home.
I've left a voicemail. Ill update this if I get a call back. -
I didn't think my dishwasher was save-able. They came out and diagnosed the problem and had it fixed after a quick part order. They saved me hundreds of dollars in buying a new dishwasher. They were fast and knowledgeable and I would recommend them to everyone.

My son had to have his dryer repaired. The appointment was at 10am, but the repairman showed up 10:10am and finished at 10:40am (maybe 10:41am?) and charged him for 45min of labor. I thought the travel time should be covered by initial service charge, $64.95. Being 10 minutes late is not a huge deal, but I think it's wrong to start charging before the repairman arrived at the job site.
The total came to $190.63 including the initial service charge, a replacement part and labor. When my son tried to pay with $200 cash, the repairman said that he doesn't have any change and suggested that he could just give him the whole thing by adding the rest as a tip. My son felt that he had no choice, but to do so.
When my son made an appointment, he specifically asked what kind of payments they would accept because he doesn't own any credit cards. They told him that they would accept cards, check or cash, so I loaned him $200 prior to that. If they can't give any change, why did they say that they would accept cash? Is it customary for them to demand the change as a tip?
$30 (15min extra labor that they charged plus $10 demanded tip) is a lot of money for a college student. When I heard that story, it made me feel bad. I felt like my son was taken advantage of the situation.
I wrote to a company via their website, politely asking their policy. It's been ten days, but there's no reply yet.
After all, the dryer is working now and there's no doubt that the repairman was skillful. I'm not sure how this company runs their business, though. -
We offered to deliver our broken washer to this company but was declined as they claimed they had no room. A repairman was scheduled and when he arrived we were told it was a $99 charge for onsite evaluation. This was never disclosed at the first contact. This information would have been good to know at first in order to help us make a better decision on the repairl. He had the part and labor wasnt that much but being ambushed by the evaluation fee left a bad taste in our mouth regarding future endeavors.

Great, reliable company. Called early in the week for an issue with our gas oven. Had someone in our home within three days, even with our hectic work schedule. Michael arrived on time, did a great job to quickly identify the problem before giving me an estimate and getting it all fixed in a timely fashion. Michael was professional, kind, and courteous, and he took great care to make sure everything was perfect before he left. It's never fun to have appliance problems, but it is always helpful to know who the best company to fix those problems is.

The repair tech performed the repair on time. He was unable to test it so we could not confirm if it was done correctly. The tech then gave me a highly inappropriate lecture about his thoughts on insurance companies and how I was conducting my life. It was rude and unprofessional. The tech also chose to wait to give me this lecture after my husband had left, and I was alone with my child, which increased my feelings of being threatened. When I told the tech I did not appreciate his comments and asked him to stop, he was rude to me. I will not be using this company again and I recommend others go elsewhere, unless they want similar treatment.
Edit to Add: I have now spoken to a representative from AAA Quality Appliance Care about the issues with my service. While the representative apologized, I have not received any follow-up from the company. They also attempted to bill me twice for the same service, and have still not provided me with any kind of receipt confirming payment. -
Our refrigerator broke, the evaporator fan died. I called AAA and they got me an appointment as quickly as possible. Riley showed up when he was scheduled and was a very professional. He fixed the issue and got the fridge working again.
However, the ice machine hose managed to become unattached as the fridge started to recool. I called AAA to see if they could fix the issue. The mgmt team quickly confirmed that they would fix the problem. Riley came back and fixed the issue for no charge.
There are lots of moving parts here, ya mess with one, others can act in ways you dont want. I was very happy that AAA mgmt took responsibility for the issue and fixed it. I felt it showed great integrity and pride in their work.
Riley was outstanding and thorough. The woman in the office who was scheduling was very kind. And the mgmt team showed a quality that one rarely sees anymore. Every point of contact i had with them was positive. I will definitely call them again for any issues. -
Jesse is an amazing tech!! Absolute pleasure having him in our kitchen. The world needs more people like him. Anytime I need repair services from AAA I will request Jesse!!

We were very pleased with the service on our GE Profile dishwasher. Riley was efficient, explained the issue and replaced the necessary part. He was mindful of the flooring and cabinetry as he did his work. We'll definitely call AAA Quality Appliance Care for any appliance issues in the future. Thanks Riley!

I had scheduled an appointment to get my washer’s rubber replaced it had mold and I had tried everything to remove it. I mentioned to the woman I scheduled it the model of my washer that it was a LG stacked washer / dryer unit she stated it would be $99 to have techs come out to look at it and $125 for the part and labor when the tech came said it was a 2 tech job and it was going to be $99 for them coming out and $125 for the part and $585 for labor I’m like are you kidding me!!! I can buy a whole new washer lol so if I had known this I would of not scheduled this appointment guy made $99 for 5 min conversation I think I’m in the wrong job lol I would not recommend this company!!

Martin was a really good guy to work with. He was able to keep my geothermal system limping along through the heat waves of the summer and honest enough to suggest that it should be replaced, even though he doesn't typically do non-commercial work, so there was nothing in it for him. That's integrity

I had an amazing experience with Ducking Cool HVAC! They promptly scheduled a technician to fix my AC during a heatwave. The technician was professional, explained the problem, and fixed it without any extra costs. My AC is working perfectly now. I highly recommend Ducking Cool HVAC for their outstanding service and quick response time. Thank you!
