Had a basic maintenance completed. Our technician Barrie was detailed, efficient and honest about our service needs. He took a thorough look, cleaned our filters and provided several estimates and recommendations for us. Very pleased with this service.

Andrew came out and took care of my heating issue. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He explained everything clearly and showed me how to use the new thermostat. Andrew also set me up on a maintenance plan to stay on top of my aging system. Definitely will only call A and E!

I was told the technician would show up between 12-4pm which for many businesses seems to mean 4:30-5pm, but the technician from A&E showed about 5 minutes after noon. I explained the problem I was having with my A/C unit and Barry got straight to work. He kept me informed about what he thought the problem was and gave me a couple of options as far as repairs were concerned. I now have a working A/C unit for the summer and it was well within my budget and significantly less than what another technician from another company quoted me. I’m very happy with the work that was done at my house today and will definitely be using this company again in the future.

After 41 years, our furnace gave out. We also had a 10 year old heat pump that was also replaced. We called A&E Heating Tuesday, January 20, 2026 after 3 pm and Karin Saltz arrived before 9 am the next day to take measurements and go over two proposals. We chose the system we wanted, she called the office and we were scheduled for removal of old system including heat pump and replacement of new system on Friday. On Friday, John Savage and Tyler arrived about 7:45 am and worked super hard to replace our furnace and heat pump. They were both very nice and answered our questions, showed us how to work the thermostat. The new system is so quiet! They kept everything clean and took away all the old stuff plus all the boxes from the new stuff! Highly, highly recommend A&E Heating! Thank you to Karin, John and Tyler!

I was happy to see my returning technician, Barrie. He had patiently coached me on my equipment and heating situation last time he was here and, patiently, once again this time. I am confident in A&E's and Barrie's maintenance coverage on my heating equipment. Peace of mind. Thank you!!

Our furnace started making a loud buzzing sound but still functioned normally and A&E was able to get out within a couple days of calling them. Carson quickly figured out it was a transformer that was going out and fixed it. He also performed a full system check to make sure everything else was in good working order. A&E has been great to work with since we had them install our HVAC system a few years ago.

Barrie was our tech and he showed up promptly for our scheduled tuneup. He was quick, efficient and helpful. He even took the time to help me figure out how to turn on our gas fireplace which hadn’t been used in 4 years! He showed me photos of our furnace, but I did not feel pressured to make any panic decisions; he said he would send me photos so I could discuss any fixes with my family. At the end of the visit he even preemptively offered to schedule the next a/c tuneup for this upcoming summer. Great service overall!

This company is top notch! From the beginning, the estimator, Rick was very personable and worked with me answering questions about their company and products used in comparison to other companies I received estimates from. He explained things well and when asked about a price difference, was able to get a little lower after talking with management.
The technician Zach spent all three days at my home and was very polite and graciously put up with me asking a million questions as they were tackling things. Every day when they finished up, they cleaned the areas they had worked in and everyrhing was nice and tidy. They sent texts before they arrived everyday and were always prompt and here exactly the hours I was told they would be here. Brandon came the last day to do the duct cleaning and sealing and was also a very friendly and polite guy. There were a few others, ( Nick, Scott and Tyler I think) that were all here at different times checking on things and making sure all things were taken care of.
All of them were very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking about getting any heating/ cooling or water heater fixed or replaced. I am VERY pleased with my decision to choose this company for our new systems.
