Constraction reviews in Hillsboro, Oregon

I was impressed with the care and professionalism of Spencer as he designed my siding project, he demonstrated strong customer service from the beginning. I appreciate the value time and care he put into the project designing the project with James Hardie ash color siding and primed trim. I would highly recommend Da bella. I was impressed with the speed and professionalism of the sub contractors that installed the siding on the south side of the house. It looks great.

**Absolutely unacceptable and disturbing behavior.**
DaBella’s salespeople were aggressively pushy and **refused to leave my elderly neighbor’s property** even after the appointment had been canceled. They ignored repeated requests to leave and only backed off **after my husband called the police**.
The sales representatives were rude, insulting, and clearly trained to intimidate rather than help. This was not a misunderstanding—it was deliberate, coercive behavior. Their customer service is nonexistent, and their conduct was dishonest and predatory.
This company should not be trusted, especially around seniors. If you value basic respect and safety, stay far away. -
A guy came by, while I was heading out the door. I let him know that I was leaving, to which he said he wouldn't be long. Though I ended up talking to him in my drive way for about 30 minutes, all the while I kept letting him know that I needed to leave. He kept insisting on allowing his people to come do a free consultation, to which I agreed, only to get him out of my driveway.
The next day, 2 guys came for the consultation at 6pm, instead of 5pm. Though I told the guy the previous day that we would be out at 6:30pm. I had my husband deal with them, while I started dinner. They did the inspection, in about 45 minutes. Then proceeded to stay, to try to persuade my husband to pay for their services, until 8:30pm.
They actually only left, leaving their equipment in my dining room, so that my husband can talk to me about whether we wanted to purchase their services. They came back to converse about our answer. I let them know that they had overstayed their welcome, had interrupted our dinner plans, that my kids and I ended up eating dinner in my room, without my husband, instead of at the dinner table, and that by this time they were cutting into our bedtime schedule. I also let them know that we were not interested in purchasing anything from them, and that they needed to leave. They proceeded to call their boss, as if it was necessary for them to have permission to leave, and continued to try to negotiate with us, even after several attempts of me telling them that we were not interested. They finally left by 9pm.
They next 2 days, I got more than 15 calls from several different numbers all representing DaBella. Each number that called and asked for me, I said "No thank you," hung up the phone and blocked the number. If I was to purchase services for my roof, it absolutely would Not be from DeBella. You don't get to act entitled to people's time and overstep boundaries, and still believe that you have a chance to collect money from them. -
Update 12.5.25
I owe DaBella an apology! Turns out that the guy from the mold mitigation company who came out to inspect the attic was trying to make a sell. We had three other professionals come in and all of them confirmed that the roof was put on perfectly and has more than enough ventilation, and their mitigation estimates were less than half of what that first guy was telling us it would cost! We called DaBella back and they sent out their QA guy, James, who spent more time in my attic than all the others combined to make sure the ventilation was sufficient. I am not too proud to admit that I was wrong about DaBella and that I learned a valuable lesson about not just running with the first opinion you get. Thank you, DaBella, Specifically Lindsay and James, for being patient with our frustrations and acting quickly! We were able to get the more accurate information to our buyers and they decided not to bail on us!
Zero Stars!
Do not use this company for your roof repairs! It is 12/2/25 and we are losing the buyer on our house due to mold that was caused by poor ventilation in a roof that we had completely replaced, to include a significant percentage of the wood under the roof, in August of 2022. We spent over $32,000.00 (on a house of only 2500 square feet) so that we would have a roof with special ventilation to prevent future mold problems. The representative was adamant that the extra cost for the additional ventilation would be worth the investment because it would safeguard our home. In just three years, we have a serious mold problem. When we called DaBella asking them to fix it, we were told that after two years, we must file a claim with the warranty company. What ever happened to backing up your workmanship? At minimum, could they not offer a deal on adding additional ventilation as a gesture to make good on their word that the cost would be worth it and to make things right? Instead, we’re sent to the warranty company to file a claim and wait. Home buyers can’t wait. So, not only do we now have to figure out and pay for mold mitigation and adding ventilation to a roof that was already supposed to have had sufficient ventilation, but our future plans have also been ruined. No buyer for our home means we lose our dream home. Thank you DaBella! -
Absolutely do NOT hire DaBella. The good reviews they receive are either flukes or are part of their scheme to give people money off their quote in exchange for a 5 Star review up front. Which is why so many of them are rating just the assessment/quote process. Directly hire a local contractor. DaBella will be subcontracting your project out to them anyways and simply profiting off playing middleman while bringing nothing to the table.
I regret the day I answered the door for the DaBella salespeople. Worst case scenario, they are a predatory company attempting to bait and switch their customers. Best case scenario, they are an unreliable company failing to meet even the most basic of customer service and construction industry standards.
We foolishly hired DeBella to redo the siding on our home. The project was estimated to take a week, but we are now closing in on 2 months with no end in sight. Our project has been strung along repeatedly due to DaBella's lack of due diligence. We have multiple unresolved issues from the first part of our project that they are refusing to provide updates on let alone resolutions for. We also have an entire second part of our project that we got roped into due to them originally misquoting us. Not only did we have to fight back and forth with them for weeks to get them to agree to cover the costs of their mistakes, but this second part of the project is weeks past the estimated date they gave us and they have now become completely unresponsive.
The salesperson is the only person's contact information you will be allowed to have. Our salesperson has not replied to any of our messages for over a week now. Zero acknowledgement. We have called the customer service hotline and sent emails to the customer service hotline multiple times. When you call their office directly, all the prompts just lead you back to the same customer service hotline. Except for 0, which will get you to the receptionist, who will transfer you directly only to have the phone just ring endlessly with no option to leave a voicemail.
We have spent nearly $30k with this company and they can't even be bothered to pretend they care about the contractual obligation they have to us. Meanwhile our house has been sitting here for months unfinished, no gutters, no lights, faulty trim, and a pallet of their leftover supplies in our driveway that they have told us three different times someone will come pick up but never does.
If DaBella continues to ignore us, we will be forced to pursue other recourse, including legal action. -
Jack and Brittany are a couple of the best sales reps money can provide! Very knowledgeable, friendly and understanding to a customer’s budget. No upsell, hidden agenda or bs games. Highly recommend if your looking for a new Roof, windows, siding or whatever product they have to offer! I look forward to rebuilding my home with this Team!

Rashad from DaBella recently visited to inspect my home, and I couldn't be more pleased with his thoroughness and expertise. He took the time to point out some concerns with my roof and siding, providing clear pictures that highlighted areas needing attention. I was inspired by his guidance and decided to go with a stunning Eucalyptus Green for my siding. I can hardly wait to see how beautiful my home will look with this fresh color, and I'm excited about the potential increase in value it will bring. Transforming my home is truly a rewarding experience!

I know there is a reply from the owner saying to call customer service. It's lip service to look good to people reading reviews. They screened our calls and hung up on me before I was able to talk to anyone at customer service. My husband had to drive all the way from Dallas to their hilsboro office just to get them to cancel the contract. They also were illegally conducting business in our town, and didn't have a door to door sales permit. The city notified police.
UPDATE!PLEASE READ! I am writing an updated review to let everyone know the truth, and I will be posting this elsewhere as well. Do not use Dabella!! I was basically forced to write the first review. The sales man jack that was mentioned, told me what key words to use ie "canvas team" etcetera. He also wanted to take a picture of the review once I was done. A woman alone with these men, of course you are going to do what they ask. I felt as though I had to go along with everything. After the initial free estimate they wanted to discuss our options. After a light discussion I tried to ask them to come back when my husband was home since he is the financial side. He said in his experience that's a nice way of saying no thank you, and then proceeded to sit in my living room for 7 hours trying to go over everything and did not give up until I signed up, that means they showed up at 2pm and didnt leave until almost 8pm for what was supposedto be a 60-90 estimate. Immediately the next morning I started setting estimates with other companies. What I found is appalling. I called 6 companies and they were all rated just as highly as dabella. They all charge around $20-30,000, while dabella wanted to charge between $60-70,000, and the work still comes with warranties and uses the same top materials. Please don't fall for these pushy sales tactics. Shop around! If you are using dabella, I promise you paid way too much. If you have read this far, I encourage you to scroll through the reviews. Look for the keywords "canvas team, professional" those are coerced reviews that the sales teams have asked for while standing in the same room waiting to take pictures of said reviews. I also want to add that we talked to my elderly neighbor, he is a vietnam vet suffering from agent orange and mourning the recent loss of his wife. They bothered him too and wouldnt leave when he told them no soliciting. He had to cuss and yell at them multiple times and they even banged on his windows after he said leave.
Dabella was in our area with a canvas, they were polite and knowledgeable, and helped us set up an appointment with their roof experts. Jack and Stephen came out to give us a estimate on replacing our roof, they were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They spent alot of time explaining and going over everything. They were also fantastic with our kids, who thought it was a play date for them. Would absolutely recommend giving them your business! -
lawrence riddle and Kel Feehan were extremely professional. My roof was just completed and now my siding will be installed this week. the roof quality was wonderful and the James hardy siding was too good to pass up.

Working with Jessi & Saniya was a pleasure, the professionalism that DaBella employs is commendable, and the ease of working with every single person throughout the process was great! I appreciate that they're local company, and in the end I have windows that are beautiful. I appreciate the quality!!!!
-
JJ Hartel and Hannah Dryden showed extreme professionalism and educated us so much about the windows and how they work. Their inspection was top notch and detailed showing a care and dedication to their exclusive process and product.
-
Duncan did a professional job quoting my siding and bathroom remodel. The James Hardie siding they use is the highest quality available. I recommend both the products and Duncan as what you should trust with your home improvement needs.
-
Saniya and Jessi were very professional, fun and sincere. I love the exclusivity of the Bath Sentrel system that they have and I’ve been wanting to do this for a very long time and thanks to their exclusive financing I’m able to make that happen. I will recommend them to everyone I know!

Working with Braedon Gabrielse on getting a quote for a roof replacement on my 1700 sq ft single story house in Oregon. Braedon is friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the products and process, and so far his customer service is great. I think he did a thorough job inspecting the roof and pointed out problems I had also observed recently (which prompted my concern).
I am ambivalent about their sales process and pricing though. After a general agreement on terms, they provide a quote and, as expected, push for a sale. They will negotiate pricing, and as one objects they try to address the issue and adjust the price slightly. This goes on for several cycles. While I appreciate the improved prices, it leaves me feeling that their pricing is not transparent, and that on some level, it feels fishy. My situation is complicated by solar panels which have to be removed and reinstalled to replace the shingles. Dabella will help coordinate this, but it is done at my cost, and that cost is significant for the work being done. At this point I am reconsidering the whole deal. -
I would recommend not buying from Dabella. They're extremely over priced and will upsell you on GAF products but don not know how to properly install them. I was sold a roof for almost $25k that was improperly installed and ended up having bad ventilation because they do not have the knowledge. I was expecting top quality for that price. Now I have to pay almost 10k to fix it. I'm going to enjoy telling everyone about my bad experience. If I can get at least 2 or 3 people to not buy Dabella, then I'll cost them more money than it would be just to fix it. It's too bad because I own multiple properties. Never again.

Kel Feehan and Lawrence Riddle were kind and helped me decide the roof for my house. I am very happy with it. The Metalmark Grey color is my favorite and what I got, and the shingle is very high quality. Worth every penny for my house.
I will be calling them when I get to working on my shop outside. -
JJ and Saniya were both very pleasant and informative. Professionalism was excellent. Had a good sense of humor and were happy to help me on the scope of work I needed with their exclusive Glasswing windows.
-
Brittany came out did a thorough inspection and spent hours with us trying to find a solution to what she found. She showed us so many things other inspectors missed and truly cared about helping us. She was incredibly professional and personable we are eager to add a dabella roof to our dabella windows!!

I had a random person show up and I thought I'd give them a try since it's about time for a new roof anyway. Unfortunately, I had someone come out and spend hours tracking insulation through my house after warning them not to. Then pursuing super high pressure sales tactics while ignoring my actual concerns until I literally had to kick them out. I'm not completely sure but I think his whole story about his background and even the pictures he showed me of my own attic were highly modified or just flat out fake. As a salesman, I have immense respect for his craft. He was obviously trained extremely well and his execution was on point. Had I been an old person or a new home owner it would have been extremely easy to fall for the games. Unfortunately, opting out of the presidential package didn't threaten my manhood at all. Upon further investigation, realizing that he was working extremely hard to get me locked into a price that was 2 or even 3 times the actual average cost leaves a VERY bad taste in my mouth. In rough numbers, that's 60k for a 20k job... with the financing they offered, that would end up being 120k by the time I paid it off. Instead of the 15k cash deal I ended up with for a more thorough fix... In hindsight, I feel pretty negative about the whole experience. Now, they won't stop calling me and still won't give me a firm price. They just keep pressing me to agree to a 500 to 900 monthly financing agreement. Which is absolutely insane and offensive considering their absolute minimum scope of work and that they won't listen to my no thank you. It's honestly turned into an incredibly sleazy interaction from a brand I used to respect. These people will 100% take as much advantage of you as they can. My advice is to stay away or shop around first and don't ever let them play any hard sell or financing games with you at all. Once they can see you've given them any room at all. The endless sleazy hard sell is guaranteed. I sincerely regret giving them even 30 seconds of my time.

Mr. Johnny Vo has been a phenomenal sales rep! He has guided us through the entire process, listened to our concerns and worked within our limits. We now trust him with all of our home improvements and we are so grateful that there is someone we can communicate with and trust to do the best for us.

Got a roof quote and I was very pleased with the rep who came out. He was thorough, friendly and very professional. Things went south when he quoted me 40k for a new roof that would have took a day to complete (do the math). Do yourself a favor and get multiple bids as their operating costs must be through the roof if that’s what they need to charge to make a profit.
