Called for a quote and was scheduled for a chimney sweep the next week. Chance arrived at the scheduled time and cleaned my chimney in under an hour. He was efficient in his work and made sure the area was properly protected before starting. Once he completed the job, it looked much better and I was overall pleased with his work. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about chimneys and heating in general and answered all my questions. I recommend this company for all your chimney needs. Thank you!

Their rebuilding skills are really incredible, the way it looks before versus after is really night and day. The workers really know their stuff, watching them work it's obvious they really care about their craft and put their all into. The management as well is phenomenal, knowledgeable, and friendly. Every interaction is a positive one, and they clearly know their stuff. I'd never thought about chimney masonry as an art form before seeing these guys, Five Star Chimney Repair is the best around!

We hired Todd to come out and handle some repairs, and he was fantastic. Super personable, explained the whole process clearly, and made sure I was happy with everything before he left. His team was great and respectful as well—they did a full walkthrough with me once the work was done, showed me exactly what they completed, and were very mindful of the space. They cleaned up thoroughly and truly went above and beyond with a white-glove level of service. Even gave my animals treats! 5 starts! Highly recommend!

Five Star Chimney Repair truly lives up to their name! I needed some flashing replacement and tuckpointing done on my chimney, and their team did an amazing job. Chris was knowledgeable and thorough, and Chance did a great cleaning before they started the repair work. Both of them were super polite and easy to work with. They also showed up exactly when they said they would, which is rare these days. The best part? Their pricing was fair and transparent. BEWARE! Crooks! Did a terrible job that left my recently widowed 86 year old mother with faulty chimney work that caused water damage and black mold. She had to file a report with the CCB because they were not willing to fix the problem. CCB gave them 30 days (July 2025) to reimburse half the cost for what she paid for repairs and to this day they have not paid. She doesn’t have the income to fight them in court and is now left with a chimney that she will never be able to use in the colder months. It’s very disappointing and disturbing that a company can be so cruel.

We had scheduled service and right from the start there was a lack of communication and professionalism. At first, the quote Todd gave my realtor was a different price he gave us a week later. It was less over all so we didn't think much of it. Who doesn't like saving money right? We set the appointment for 10 am. On the day of the appointment we find out that we weren't going to start at 10 but at 8, which he never mentioned to us. He was ok with half up front but day of changed his mind and wanted all of the money day of the appointment instead of half up front half after the work was done. He also said the work would take two days and then changed it and said it would only take one day. A first when we expressed concern about the time change he seemed agitated and snapped "its not like devilvering a pizza."and said he wouldn't apologize. All the inconsistencies and lack of communication made us uncomfortable and when we expressed that to Todd he did not like it. He basically said that he didn't agree with any of our concerns and that we we had taken up enough of his time and that we needed to part ways. We trusted the good reviews and obviously shouldn't. So please be aware that while the workers may be good Todd the "owner" was not.

Scheduling with this company is a mess. They tried showing up on the wrong day, then arrived extremely early on the actual appointment. This makes it extremely difficult when you have little ones and dogs. The tech barely checked the damper before pushing for costly replacements instead of trying to fix it. I sprayed some lube myself and it worked fine. Feels like they care more about upselling than solving the issue. Would not recommend.

They were amazing and were able to fufill all the repairs within one day. The quote was one of the best and left our chimney like it was brand new.

I can’t say enough good things about Sean and the work he did on my chimney. After the storm we had a few weeks ago, I discovered water seeping down the cinderblocks and decided I needed to have it looked into. I was fortunate to find Five Star Chimney Repair. Sean applied professional water sealing and did a crown repair to the chimney.

A very disappointing experience with Five Star. After calling them and sending a picture of the job a technician came and measured the chase cover which was to be replaced.

After three weeks I texted to let them know I wouldn't be home for a specific 5 day period, hoping to simplify their scheduling. I received no response.

After another three weeks I called to ask when the work would be done and was told they "would pass" on the job because of safety concerns.

Five Star could have told me they didn't want the job when they came to measure, or when the technician turned in the measurements, or as a response to my text regarding scheduling. Instead there was NO COMMUNICATION until I phoned them.

Five Star = an example of poor customer service!
