Having recently bought our first home, my husband and I were eager to start our home renovations to match our goals and needs for the property--starting with the bathrooms. Because this is our first home we didn’t have a network of trusted contractors who could help us navigate the world of remodeling. Fortunately I met Victor, the owner of Portland Bathroom Pros, through a mutual friend. He came by our home in PDX and we got the conversation going. Right away I felt like he was listening to my hopes for the property. He set up an atmosphere that made it safe to brainstorm while providing critical feedback about fixtures, design, and intelligent functionality for the bathrooms.The construction process was very straight forward. After signing a contract, he showed up on time, took the necessary steps to mask the property for dust collection, stayed in budget, kept us in the loop about the stages of development on the project, and hired a professional cleaner to clean the new bathroom and the house on the last day of work! TL/DR: just hire Victor and co, you'll be glad you did. I started with a complete bathroom remodel and Victor easily had the best price, ideas, vision, and superb communication. He understood exactly what I wanted and added value every step of the way. Barely started, it was clear that I needed an entire electrical panel upgrade and relocation. Victor got several electrical bids and used his knowledge and experience to select the right subcontractor. In less than six weeks I had an amazing new bathroom along with a modern electrical system, all below his budget. This is a class act from start to finish.
Victor and Evan were great to work with. When seeking quotes for our shower, it only took one phone conversation with Victor to choose his services. He was direct, clear, and able to give us a quote through pictures. He was patient over the time it took for us to decide on tile and other aspects of the project. The wall behind our original tile was waterlogged and leaking to the external wall, a whole replacement job was needed. We had an annoying sliding door that we wanted remove. Victor explained what steps needed to happen, and what was possible. When job time came, the crew put in clearly articulated and consistent work-days. We are very happy with the new bathroom, and impressed with the whole service experience.
Victor and the Portland Bath Pros team was great to work with - from the first conversation Victor was a great partner on our small bathroom remodel project. He made great suggestions and recommendations as we were planning to help get a great final value while still keeping within our budget. During the actual work, he was very communicative and always happy to answer questions or give more details about the next steps of the project.
