I hired Conrad Construction to do some repairs on my house, and I am very happy. From Patrick and Robby down to Rick and Johnny, everyone involved is friendly, communicative, professional and hard working.

I hired Conrad Construction for a garage/basement expansion project and found Patrick and his whole crew to be honest, professional, and great to work with. The job was completed as spec'd in the contract and everything was fully permitted and inspected. Workers kept the site as neat and clean as possible, and they were good about double-checking details with me to ensure everything was done to my liking.

I'm sure I could have found someone cheaper, but I think the pricing was fair for such a professional operation and I would definitely work with them again in the future.

We used Conrad Construction LLC for a garage conversion to a living space at our North East Portland home. Their attention to details and their professionalism throughout this project made it a pleasure to work with them. Patrick and Robbie have such a broad knowledge of construction that they could not only envision our project in its entirety, but they could anticipate or quickly adapt to unforeseen issues. I.E. the torrential rains which cracked our 96 year old, footing less retaining wall. They were professional and respectful of our mornings and made sure the site was always tidy at the end of the day. The price point for this job was perfect for our budget and all change orders that we made were fully written up and priced in advance. We used Conrad Construction for a primary bedroom/bathroom addition to our home in North Portland. From our first meeting I felt at ease with the owner, Patrick; he was kind, explained things well, and listened to our wants and needs. Everyone we worked with on Patrick’s team was wonderful. Across the board, people were friendly, respectful, and hard working. Our kids would ask everyday if someone was coming to work at the house and they learned everyone’s names. I cannot recommend Conrad Construction enough and we will absolutely be using them for any future projects.

Over the years Patrick Conrad and several of his crews have done a good number of important jobs for us. I won’t hire anyone else. There’s our bathroom and kitchen remodel In there, pouring concrete in my living room so we could level and re-do the floor, and they just got done re-doing our 25 y.o. deck and putting on a new roof! All during the work he’s a fast phone call away…but we really didn’t need that so much cause his crew leaders are so professional in every regard. Knowledgeable, respectful and pretty darn loud. Indeed, and every time I heard a hammer or a saw it made me smile. Our home in Oregon City has never looked to good.

We used Conrad Construction for our garage gym remodel project and we couldn't be happier with Patrick and his crew! When I started choosing a contractor for our project, I was disappointed in the slow responses of other businesses. But Patrick always gets back to my e-mails right away and answers all my questions. They took care of everything we needed: demolition and removal of our old, rotting cabinets; insulating and drywalling; replacing a broken window; installing new electrical outlets; installing a new washer box and dryer vent; installing new lighting; leveling the floor; running a conduit for a future hot tub. And the whole project was done in just a couple weeks! The entire crew was extremely friendly and professional. I highly recommend Conrad Construction for any remodeling or home projects you might have, we'll definitely be using them in the future.

We are very happy with the lighting/remodeling project on our home. Quality of the work was excellent. Process of the work was completed on schedule. Communication by entire staff was excellent. Highly recommend.

Patrick and his team do great work. And if there's a concern, it's addressed. Workers are punctual and clean up after themselves at the end of the day.

But what I like most, and why I would reach out to Patrick for future projects, is that I trust him. I feel like I can take him at his word; he is reasonable and honest. He is responsive and is patient with questions. If a friend asked me if I would recommend a company to help remodel their home, I would recommend Conrad Construction.

I repeated say that if you like your contractor when you are done with a big renovation project, they probably were a good contractor. Robby at Conrad construction was fabulous at responding to the inevitable issues that arise. The whole team was reliable, responsive, took accountability when appropriate, and cared as much as I did about the quality of the work. I will use them again on any future renovations.

Conrad was an excellent choice for our modest kitchen remodel job. They get high marks for communication, timeliness, courtesy/friendliness, quality of work, fair pricing, and clean-up. We particularly appreciated Rob who did the majority of the work. Based on our experience, we would use them again and recommend them to friends.

We had a water leak flood throughout the Kitchen, dining room and finished basement. Conrad Construction and their inhouse designer helped us take a someday project (always wanted to redo the kitchen and refinish the floors) and make it fairly painless through their thoughtful process of design and construction. Turned out amazing! Custom cabinets and new appliances that fit well in our galley kitchen. The refinished 1922 hardwood floors look great and the finished basement repairs are better than we had before. Also helped us maximize the insurance payout by making a second "flood damaged only bid" for the insurance company since what we wanted to do went well beyond the flood damaged areas.

Very responsive and professional as we worked with them while we lived in another country. The work was done on time. The finished product is lovely.

The absolute best team of folks to work with! Original, unique and a complete joy to with. Can’t wait to work with them again on another restaurant project!!

So, I work in real estate, I'm an artist, I love cats, and I wanted to do an Airbnb. My garage was not a functional space at all. It was kind of a mess to be honest. So making that a usable space was really important to me. And I wanted something to help me pay my mortgage.

They came up with some really innovative ideas that I loved — that I never would have thought of myself. They really did make this ADU a possibility for me.

And I actually ended up living in it and renting my house. It's definitely a life-changing opportunity to have that kind of freedom.

This home is my haven. It’s always been a comfortable house, but since the remodel, it’s just an oasis.

I entertain a fair amount and it used to be if I did have any more than like six people for dinner, I’d have to put tables in the family room to make a dining space because the dining room was so tiny.

I was making do, but it was always a conundrum as far as how to make the space work.

So I called Fraley + Company and just felt so comfortable with him, pretty much off the bat. It just was such a positive experience and Joel just took any angst out. He acted as the project manager all the way through, and that was nice to know — that I had that kind of advocacy.

I had done this watercolor and I pulled that out as inspiration. The colors were narrowed down to aqua, orange and copper. It just adds such warmth and positive feelings.

When I walked in — when it was pretty much done — it was love at first sight, I have to say. It was just like “Oh my gosh, I get to be in this space. This gets to be mine.”

It kind of took my breath. It works together so well and, like I said, it’s such a happy place. I just really, really enjoy it, and I’m so proud of my space.

I love working with Joel. He redid our mountain cabin, coordinated and referred a great General Contractor and stayed true to his commitment. Very trustworthy, with a great aesthetic sense for a period (1950's) appropriate remodel/update.

We are in the city of Denver, about six minutes from downtown, in a house that gives us the best of both worlds — in town so we could have a city lifestyle but not feel claustrophobic because we back up to a park that overlooks a lake, right in front of the mountains.

It is just a beautiful space, but our house is strange — people would joke around when they first saw “the compound” because it was just a rat maze. There hasn't been a pizza delivery person who hasn't called us from the car wondering where to go and what to do.

That needed to change, but we didn’t want to lose the majestic feel of the house or property.

It was really good to have Joel's expertise and high level of taste to put those ideas all in together into one plan. Now, we have a really inviting and a natural way to get into our home.

With architectural features like a Mediterranean-looking roof and some parapet walls and arches, it has completely changed the feel of this house. It makes more sense for our family and reflects our love for the southwestern look. We just love it.

Working with Fraley + Company was a pleasurable, educational and rewarding experience that resulted in a beautiful, highly functioning kitchen, and beverage bar conveniently positioned near the living area and dining room for entertaining. Our remodeled kitchen works like a dream - plenty of room for all necessary components and spaces organized by function. Great experience and spectacular result!

Joel, Nicole and team created a gorgeous design to give us the “WOW” factor. We remodeled our kitchen and 4 bathrooms. The results are stunning! They are great designers and we thoroughly enjoyed working with them.

We bought our 1920’s craftsman house in SE Portland because it fit us as a family. But the kitchen especially was just tired and awkward. We’d done minor renovations on our own, but this was way bigger than we could handle. Joel was referred to us, and we haven’t looked back!
