Joel and Danny were fantastic to work with on a near complete renovation of our log house : they are creative, collaborative and were communicative throughout. They helped us make an solve innumerable decisions and conundrums, and they were not afraid of changing course when things were not working out as planned. My wife and I cannot recommend Fraley + Company more highly.

Joel and his team were an absolute dream to work with and they captured my style and PV. They are very interested in creating a space that functions and functions in a beautiful way. They also provided options for contractors, were there every step of the way for the job to get done, and provided an excellent QC review. There were times I thought my budget could not hold up to some of the cost elements but we worked through all of those issues and then some. I can't say enough positive words to describe how happy I am with my kitchen renovation. It is perfect. The pictures do not do it justice... I swear. My next major project, I will be back calling Fraley + Company.

Green Hammer walks the walk when it comes to sustainability. They are a champion of truly green products and fill their projects with sustainably sourced, beautiful, high-quality materials.

I am sure the intention was noble. I mean who doesn't want to break into new markets, make more money and add Ashland as another home. But the Green Hammer is still a Portland company - and a company that is no more "green" than many of the builders in the Rogue Valley. Much of that local money goes north back to Portland.
Scoring a big job and setting up a "store front" does not make a company. Many of the tradesmen in the valley have lived here for decades and established relationships over that time. In full disclosure, I have never worked for or collaborated with the Green Hammer. My limited dealings with the company and their lack of professionalism lead me to believe that I prefer it that way.

Green Hammer team designed and built Ankeny Row, a passive house constructed co-housing project with 6 units, 13 partners and common room built around a shared court yard. Our units are individually customized with great cabinetry by Urban Timberworks. After one year occupancy we are net zero in energy use. Thanks Green Hammer for nil electric bills.

Green Hammer has been incredibly generous in their support for Thrive's work to build a more sustainable Rogue Valley economy. Staff and owner Stephan Aiguier worked all day at our annual fundraiser in support of our local food programs. Thank you Green Hammer!

We chose Green Hammer to build Ankeny Row, our net zero co-housing project in SE Portland. The project consists of five townhouses, a loft apartment and a common room, all built to Passive House standards. We have lived in our new homes for over a year and we are generating more electricity than we use! Green Hammer is one of a very small number of design build firms that have experience in Passive House construction. They brought their significant expertise in green building to the project. They also used only FSC certified lumber. The fine craftsmanship in woodworking provided by Urban Timberworks (part of Green Hammer) was a plus that I didn't anticipate. These are not only beautiful, but extremely comfortable buildings. We feel extremely fortunate to have chosen Green Hammer for our homes. We found the staff of Green Hammer to be professional at all times and very nice people.

I work with Green Hammer as a vendor and they have been very easy to work with and are very professional. Julie is always very nice and extremely easy to work with. I would recommend Green Hammer to anyone seeking top of the line construction work in PDX.

We have been very happy with Timur and crew. Several things stand out to us – first he is very timely and conscientious. Work was done faster than promised and always at a very high quality. He always made sure we were happy with every aspect of the job, and several times returned to touch up small details and make everything perfect. Second, he gives good, honest advice. This was our first home remodel and we didn’t really know too much about it, but he happily walked through the process with us. He has a nice sense of design and pays attention to aesthetics that other contractors don’t seem to care about. He was also willing to give us tips and advice on how to save money and time on our projects. Overall, I would recommend him to anyone – I’ve used him twice and will happily call him for all our future contracting needs.
