These guys were so friendly, responsive and quick. They took care of everything and the price was definitely fair for the work they performed (decommissioned 2 cesspools and made new city sewer line connection). Would recommend them to anyone needing similar work in Portland

Ubaldo was super responsive, came in with a strong bid, and with the option to hand dig, which simplified the project a lot. His team was punctual, worked extremely hard, and even brought a third person to finish the work quickly. The sewer line repair was top notch.

Ubaldo & team were very responsive and helpful. They responded to my call over the weekend and dropped by for a consultation on President's Day (holiday for some). Ubaldo provided some options to fix the problem and his crew came by the next day to make the repair. Everyone was great to work with; I would recommend working with them.

Sierra came to the rescue in time to disconnect me from my neighbor's sewer and install a new line to the main sewer which was 12' deep. Timeliness was very important given my house sale was pending and City of Portland no longer allows "party" sewers. Ubaldo Sierra, the owner, was conscientious and his employees did an awesome job. They arrived timely and took great care to make the least minimal impact to the yard and plants with the digging. . I was very nervous about getting the job done right the first time and without any problems. Sierra exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them.

Ideally you never need to deal with your sewer line but when you do, I’d call these guys at Sierra excavation. They handled it quickly and explained the entire process. My sewer line was reconnected with the new pipe the same day they started and the hole in my driveway was also fixed. Everyone I dealt with within the company was friendly and professional.

I feel this short review will not do justice so I'll say this up front: Sierra sets the bar high for any contractors who may follow.

We had several water mitigation issues to sort out and while we had another company here to look them over and provide estimates, it was determined also that our main sewer line was blocked by roots and would require remediation. We got that first estimate to fix the sewer line, repair and reroute a bellied rain drain, and install a new rain drain. It was a hefty sum that we almost agreed to move forward with but then recalled we had worked with Sierra 11 years earlier to have a house connected to the city sewer lines before it could be sold. I remembered a very positive experience with Ubaldo and his team then, so I called for a second opinion and I'm so grateful that I did.

Not only was the bid *significantly* lower (57% less), but the work plan was less intrusive and included more creative solutions to handle our water problems. It was a challenging job on a cul-de-sac in an older neighborhood, with densely packed driveways and complexly placed utility lines. They came with the amazing horizontal boring machine to handle creation of new rain drain lines, which vastly reduced the amount of concrete removal and replacement. Where they had to cut concrete, they replaced it with skill and consideration for our home's environment. Where they had to dig a trench (new rain drain) through our front yard, they put everything back in place like they had never been there.

I wish that I had taken photos which would have demonstrated how Sierra's amazing team, led by the friendly and informative Diego, not only put our property right back to where it started, but left it in better shape than it was (eg, installed conduit for the internet provider to use to rerun fiber, removed moss build up on our driveway). The project has been done for only 9 days, but we have already referred others to Sierra, including other contractors, and have no doubts that we will use their services again, should a need arise that would even remotely be serviceable by them. Thank you, Sierra, for the work you did for us, for the peace of mind we have knowing that we have our water and sewer concerns remediated, and for restoring our faith in good contractors.

I'm so happy we hired Sierra Excavation & Construction! Ubaldo and his brother are both very experienced at their work. We hired them to install a new sewer line and decommission a cesspool for a house we purchased. They were able to coordinate with the city to use their hole from work done just past the curb line. They are punctual, responsive, and tidy for doing such an expansive job. Our cesspool was 16' deep and took two gravel truck loads to fill! Decently priced too, they were the middle bid. Would highly recommend hiring this company.

Sierra Excavation & Construction has done two plumbing related jobs for us. One to replace a sewer line running under our basement floor to the sewer line outside of the house. (All amazingly done without digging up the yard outside of the house or the wall of the basement!) The second was to replace the cleanout and pipe from under our kitchen sink that again ran under the basement floor. Our house was built in 1941 and all of the old cast iron pipes have given way, creating major blockages. Sierra diagnosed the problems quickly, provided reasonable bids for our jobs and completed the work very quickly. They understood we were in situations both times that required us to not use our water or sewer pipes. Their employees are very thorough, hard working, and knowledgable. In addition, they were all a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them for any plumbing and excavation services!

The whole Sierra Excavation team is awesome! I had to get a new sewer line and new connection to the city line. Mr. Sierra walked me through all of the steps, gave me a fair estimate, and worked directly with the city on permits and the inspections. After the city approved the work proposal, it only took todays to complete this entire project, and I was only without water for an hour. I highly recommend them!

I am very happy with the service from Sierra Excavation. Sierra had replaced our sewer line and our water intake line. Everything went quickly, passed inspection and we were up and running the next day. They were affordable, friendly, easy to work with and professional! I would recommend them to anyone and use them again, if needed.

This was the best contractor of any kind that I've ever done business with. Their bid was the lowest but the quality provided was top of the line. The owner and all of the employees were very friendly and down to earth, and explained every question that we had. They were so good at what they do that someone on our block hired them too. I can't recommend them highly enough!

We had a great experience with Pacific Coat Painting. Adam, Matt and Josh were professional and made the scheduling process very easy. Gerami and Nathan did a great job with the carpentry and siding replacement. Austin and Danny were communicative and did an excellent job with the painting. Overall we had a great experience working with Pacific Coat painting and would certainly work with them again.

Pacific coat painters are awesome. They did a great job and our house looks amazing now. We took their suggestions on paint brand, finish and told us what door colors are currently popular. My husband and I have been working on restoring our 100-year old farmhouse for some years, and recently hired Pacific Coat Painting to paint the exterior. We chose Pacific Coat because of their great reviews and because their estimate was also the lowest we received. We know that old houses like ours can be a real challenge to paint, but Cade and his team made it look easy. They were always on time, very pleasant and professional, and the quality of their work, their incredible attention to detail, was just amazing. We could not be more pleased with the results - our old house finally looks like we dreamed it could! I can honestly say that we enjoyed getting to know Cade and his team, and we are very grateful for all their hard work and for making what I feared would be a stressful process surprisingly pleasant.

Kyle and his team did a great job painting the exterior of our house. They were very thorough with the prep and communicative through the whole process. We’re very happy with the work they did and we would recommend them for future projects.

Cade's crew did an amazing job on our house. They are so detail-oriented, they found and fixed many problems we had never noticed before. And when we had second thoughts about the color on the top part of the house, they were understanding and helpful. We could tell that they genuinely wanted us to be happy with the results. I just can't say enough good things about Pacific Coat Painting. Being new to the area I didn't have anyone to ask for a recommendation, but I needn't have worries. From start to finish they were a class act.

I called for an estimate and received a call back within the hour from Josh, the owner (even on a Friday afternoon!) I am pretty particular and asked a lot of questions, he patiently answered them all.

I was scheduled an estimate with Adam, who was very personable and knowledgeable. He had great advice on color schemes and by the time he left I knew they were the company to go with. I did my due diligence and got 2 other quotes but there was really no comparison.

Brad and his crew did the prep and painting and were polite and very careful about keeping everything clean. They did a beautiful job and it doesn't even look like the same house!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pacific Coat to anyone, and in fact my neighbor just got an estimate after hearing about our experience and seeing the results. It's rare to find a reliable and professional company these days, but these guys are the real deal.
