A battery in our laptop blew up on our vintage dining room table. It caught it and the hardwood floor on fire. Smoke-filled our home and it was a disaster. We called two other companies, but they just didn't seem to have much skill at discovering the damage. So we called service master. Alex came to our home along with our insurance adjuster. I was stunned at how much damage he was able to find. smoke on the walls cabinetry our bed, and all fabic such as our couch, chairs and rugs. Service master set up a camera in each room that took a 360° picture of each wall in the house. They prepared a documented bid for all the work and submitted it to our insurance company. After approval they began cleaning everything in the house. Then they moved everything out of the house into a pod in the street and refinished all of our floors.
We found out that the local Service MasterIs a Christian based business., and they certainly lived up to that goal. After the work was done, they replaced everything in the home. Using the pictures that they had taken initially they replaced evrything back exactly as it had been before they started their work. I was completely impressed with the employees and the management. There was no foul language and everyone had arespectful and helpful attitude'.
I might add that a week after we had our fire our daughter in Tigard had a similar fire from a 2 way radio that was charging in her kitche. It also blew up, doing thousands of dollars worth of damage to her home as well. She also contacted several other companies. But we insisted that she call Alex of service master, which he did, and she herself, was stunned at the difference in the skill level of the management and the staf just as we were. They completed her work and she is as happy as can be
I would not hesitate to recommend service master to anyone who has damage to their home.

I have had 2 floods in my basement over the past four years. 1 from an irrigation pump and this time my water heater busted. luckily the water heater has it own space about 4 feet down. water had reached the top and started flooding in to the main part of the basement. My first thought was who do I call that I can count on to get to my home quickly. I had used Servicemaster for my first flood. I was very pleased with there service the first time and decided to use them again. They arrived at my home within a hour. They immediately got to work and removed almost 800 gals of water within a couple of hours. I also commend them for taken precaution when entering my home. They put on booties before entering my home, without me asking, and covered my carpet before bring in machines. They were always mindful of there surroundings, while also taking care of business. after they were done, they told me the next steps and asked me if I had any questions. Before leaving Brandon left me his number, which I used several time. He always picked up or returned my phone call within a reasonable time. If you want fast and quality work from a great group of people I suggest using Servicemaster, there reliable and make you feel important.

Miracle Method did a fiberglass insert refinish project for us. Our shower stall was gross. It was yellowed and had scratches and we couldn’t get it to look clean. We saw a job done by MM at a friend’s house and was impressed how beautiful it looked. We made the appointment. They came and gave us an estimate. When they came it was finished in 1 day. They were professional, efficient, disposed of the old shower doors and cleaned up at the end of the job. It has a 5-year warranty but they say it will last years if properly cleaned.

Great communication with everyone, the front office were excellent updated me with texts and calls about the technical team their approximate arrival times .
Carlos was great , professional, on time and did great prep work .
We are very pleased with the finished product -
Acrylic tub looks great. Job took 8 hours over two days. A bit on the pricey side.
Of course, the question is "how well will it hold up?" But I believe the 5-yr warranty suggests it'll do just fine.
Company communicates in clear and timely manner. Calls are returned if not answered immediately.
Edgar, the pro handling my job, was polite, prompt, and neat. Nothing for me to clean up.
Highly recommended this outfit. -
It only took about a week after my initial estimate visit to get the work done. It was done in less time than estimated by a very courteous and efficient young man named Miguel. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Now I feel safe taking a shower in the only bathroom in my home. It went from an almost 21 inch high bath tub down to a nice little 4 inch step over.

We are happy with the shower/tube refinish. It is a very clean and fresh finish. The installer, Luna was very professional and did a great job. This work was for a rental and we will use again for other units.

Well this was an interesting experience... I gave them 2 stars because in the end our tub looked good but the whole process was NOT GOOD.
We have been remodeling our home for the last 2 months and spent a lot of time and money to make our bathroom the show piece of our house. Miracle Method asked to be the last people in the space making it sound like they would be clean and tidy and make our bathroom pop.
I showed up at the end of their work and walked in to an absolute mess.
-The bathroom was covered in dust (they didn't put up any plastic or paper it doesn't look like) all over our brand new light fixtures, tile walls, and windows - I spent an hour cleaning up after them.
-The silicone job was atrocious. We didn't ask them to silicone. They didn't ask us if we wanted them to silicone. They didn't as what color to use. They just smeared (emphasis on SMEAR) shiny white silicone into our black tile floor grout lines. Into our grey tile wall grout. They left finger streaks and gaps in the silicone. Every person that saw it said it looked like the person had literally never caulked anything in their life before this.
So we called them and had the supervisor come out to look. He agreed it was an absolute hack job and not acceptable. This was day 3.
Day 4 they spent 6 hours between 2 people taking the silicone out.
Day 5 they spent another hour re-finishing the tub.
Including the weekend their "2-day refinish" took a total of 7 days and required me to call off several contractors and pushed back our ability to finish the bathroom. The technician apologized for not checking with us about the silicone color or about siliconing at all. He was very nice and upbeat the whole time and made it right in the end.
When it came time to collect payment I asked about a discount due to the mistakes, delayed project and the fact that I had to personally clean my bathroom after their first attempt. I spoke to a manager named TIA. She told me that the technician called us to ask about silicone and we didn't answer so they would not give us a discount. Literally the opposite of what the technician apologized for not 10 minutes prior. She accused me of lying and that she would not give us a discount. She had TONS of attitude and was very unpleasant to talk to. She interrupted me and talked over me throughout the call. Ultimately they gave me a whopping $45 off. I promised to leave them, and TIA especially, a very thorough review of their work.
Check out the photos and see if you'd be happy with them leaving your bathroom like this. The people who I met on site were all very nice and took care of the issues that they created. Had TIA not been so snotty I would not have left this review. Hi Tia.
Overall I don't think you have many options for this work here in Portland so if you DO hire Miracle Method you better keep and eye on them and walk them through step by step what you expect.
Had I not called them out on the poor quality they would have left my bathroom like shown in the photos below. Now imagine beautiful tile on the floors and shower walls, a nice green tile backsplash/wall behind our sink, with brand new fixtures and faucets and lights and they leave the silicone looking like the photos here. really?? -
It looks like we have a beautiful brand new top now

Friendly crew and amazing work. Got me in on super short notice due to house going up for sale. Couldn’t have asked for anything else.

I have to say that from our first contact with this company until the time the technician let, the experience was fantastic. I am shocked at how well our shower pan and tub turned out. I didnt expect that and am very satisfied. Our technician doing the work was Eugene and he was prompt, courteous, neat as a pin and did a great job. In our case, refinishing made much more sense than replacement . A really positsive experience!

Beyond my expectations! My 100 year old tub was tired, discolored and damaged from a previous refinishing attempt. Miracle Method sent an incredibly talented technician who did an excellent job and communicated clearly throughout the process. My only regret is putting off this project ... I will recommend Miracle Method to anyone who needs refinishing work! Thank you!

We had Miracle Method fix a hole in a fiberglass tub surround.
They did a great job at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

Don’t trust the estimate, and use your own plumber.
It’s hard to pick the number of stars. The work was just done and looks fantastic. The person who did the Miracle Method refinishing work was a hard worker, thorough and informative. I cannot comment on the longevity of the product yet, but I am hopeful and crossing my fingers.
Why the low rating then? I was billed more than 50% more than the quote I received before starting the project I agreed to. That is unacceptable, and it was not in my budget.
The increase came from the plumbing services involved in the project, which simply involved taking off old fixtures before the refinishing work began and replacing them with new, standard fixtures.
Hire your own plumber and get your own replacement fixture!
I got a quote for the plumbing beforehand from a plumber who was not with Miracle Method. It was slightly more than what was estimated for me by Miracle Method and a 1/4 of the price I ended up being charged after using plumbing services through Miracle Method.
I went with the company’s suggested plumbing not because of the slightly lower estimate, but because I thought it would go smoother, as the two companies work together frequently. Not only was the process not smooth (I was without the shower being redone for more than a week), the poor decision to not hire my own plumber cost me. Big.
At the least, a likely overage on the quote could have been communicated to me, especially because I specifically asked about the possibility when I was considering hiring my own plumber. It should have definitely been discussed with me when the plumber used by Miracle Method arrived and analyzed the job.
Going from a quote of $295 (plus fixture) in the Miracle Method quote to a plumbing bill of $1,600 — on top of the cost of the refinishing job itself — blew my mind. And my budget for this project. I am disappointed. It felt dishonest.
If it wasn't dishonesty, it was certainly poor business and communication. I shouldn’t have paid more than $3k for a job I received a quote for that was just below $2k. -
I thought I had to rip out the entire shower area because of the crack shower stall until I stumbled upon your site and requested an onsite evaluation to see if it the base can be repaired. I was Impressed with the work performed by Jacob. He was informative, respectful and very professional. He did an amazing job repairing the cracks and matched the color of the shower walls. Miracle Method Surface Refinishing literally saved me several thousands of dollars. Glad I found your website.

Exceeded our expectations. Our tub is a very, very old cast iron tub that encased into bathroom over 20 years ago, it was just painted and would get moldy and gross and I hated taking a bath in it and hated having guessing use it even more. A rep came out and looked at it and within a week, they’re very capable and very friendly technician(shoot I forgot his name, but my dog loved him) killed it and I am now look forward to taking a bath in our tub, and I’m no longer embarrassed to have guest shower in our bath.

My husband and I were introduced to Miracle Method of Portland at the Spring Home and Garden Show. We were impressed with the product and chose them to refinish our old fiberglass shower enclosure. It was well used and we wanted the color changed from almond to white…..the white to match our current cabinet color. As per the schedule, Jesse arrived on time and within two days transformed our dingy shower into a beautiful one…..it’s really impressive! Jesse was easy to work with and very neat and organized. We are quite satisfied with the results and would highly recommend MMOP to anyone. Nancy and John

This is the 2nd project the Miracle Method team has helped me with. They are always very professional, fairly priced and do excellent work. The tub finish is perfect. Thank you Gene. Our estimator and the office staff are very good too.

The bathtub.... great. We had problems with dry rot behind the walls, turned out to be one piece of 2x4. $4741 for the new walls. Okay, we knew it would be expensive. My gripe is the teck that did the wood work charged us 4 hours @ $99 and hour for 3 pieces of 2x4 (8 ft board) and an 8 inch piece of plywood to secure the plumbing. This job also took 2 and a half months and cost us $6000+ total. Also, we had the bathroom counter done, so, so. Not really impressed.

From our initial phone call (with Mike) and the in-home consultation (with Derek) through the entire process of refinishing (with Jesus) we were very pleased with Miracle Method. The price we paid is what we were initially quoted, and Jesus was polite and thorough in his explanation of what he was doing each day. The finished result was what we had hoped for. We'll have to see if the product holds up over time, but for now we are happy with the results.
