Wow. Our roof needed a complete tear-off and also had some dry rot. The job was completed within 3 days! I would give 5 stars but on the second work day the shingles arrived at day's end, thereby forfitting that day. The price was in the ballpark, also! New roof looks wonderful and I'd easily use/recommend this company again.

Winter is coming....Do Not use Superior.....
As a contractor, it is critical that I use companies that I can trust. I can no longer trust Superior Roofing. Superior installed new roofing on my customer's garage. 1) when the crew arrived, they needed to increase the cost by 25% due to estimating error. 2) After promptly paying my bill on May 6, 2022, I returned to the customer's home and the roof had significant leaking. Call #1 to Superior was not returned. Call #2 was not returned. On Call #3 I reached office person who scheduled a time to send out a technician, but no date/time. Weeks later, I was alerted out of the blue that a tech would be stopping by that day. He did not show up. On call #4, I tried to find out what had happened and received an excuse with a promise to send them back out but without a time/date. Then I received a call (again, out of the blue) from the technician that he was onsite. He identified the problem, but couldn't fix until the next week. He didn't show. On call # 5, they said tech had been sick, but they promised me it would be done "right away." Tech didn't come. Calls #6,7 weren't returned. On call #8, admin said she'd get back to me. She didn't. Calls #9-10 went to voice mail. On call #11 same admin said she needed to "look into it." That was July. No resolution. Today is Sept. 2nd, four months since paying for the work. Still no resolution. Winter is coming....Don't use this company.

Update to response: if you fixed it why haven’t you returned by calls to tell me? And why is your Admin so clueless?

Superior Roofing has a great crew who work very hard and long days. There work on the roof is excellent. There are two areas that are very weak in this company. 1) The owner Sam is always late (sometimes very late) to appointments. 2) Clean up. A mess was left in our yard for a week after the job was complete though there were promises that it would be picked up.

Having said that, the roof looks great.

The owner (and my estimator), the office staff and foreman were communicative and professional. Roofing is a messy, inconvenient job, but the crew went above and beyond cleaning up each day and at the end of the project, even hand picking material out of my flower beds!
Superior Roofing completed the job in 2 and 1/2 days. It was impressive. These guys work hard and efficiently!

We did not use them. Only because we had a family referral that was about the same price.

But they were very responsive and they gave an amazing bid. But we wanted to support the guys that have helped my dad on a lot of projects. Superior Roofing gave a great explanation of work and the bid was the best of 5 bids we received.

We've hired Superior Roofing twice in the past 5 years to replace the roof on two different houses. Both times, we were very pleased by the quality of the work, the people who did it, and just how easy the whole experience was. This is one of those rare companies that truly listen, constantly and proactively, to their customers - all the way from estimation to final inspection and sign-off.

Mark, the estimator, is clearly an expert in the business and really good at explaining the condition of your roof and your options from repair to replacement. Last year, at Mark's recommendation, we made just a few hundred dollars of repairs to get another year out of the old roof. Their bid for this job was far better than the others - and we knew from experience that we'd get good results.

We were extremely impressed by the roofing crew: They were prompt, everyone was friendly, and their work was unbelievably clean - no more than a nail or two left behind. These guys worked long hard days to get the job done - genuine teamwork. The foreman, Herberto, was outstanding: To every question, every concern, and a few special favors we asked, he responded instantly and positively. At the end of every day, he rang the bell to give status and tell us what to expect the next day.

When the crew was finished, Sam, the company owner came by personally to inspect the work.

From start to finish, both times we've worked with Superior Roofing, they have been first rate. We definitely recommend Superior Roofing.

My willingness to participate in this survey and give feedback about this company, the work they completed and the quality of work that was done, is telling of how I feel about the experience. From the onset, when Chris came to my residence to evaluate the work that was needed I felt no pressure, I felt I was dealing with a person with integrity. I found the information clean, clear and to the point. No sales pitches or roundabout talk. Another company came to bid for the job and my experience with Chris was clearly the decision maker. The bid was fantastic and negotiation was fair without fluff talk. It was clean and clear. As a result of circumstances I had to delay the project by several months. Again, when speaking with Chris on the phone, several times, to explain circumstances for delaying the start of the job, I felt no pressure only support and empathy for my situation....The cost of the project did not increase as a result of the months delay. I was pleased. Then the work began. The crew sent to the house was professional, hard working, had a sense of humor, treated each other with respect, worked together well and basically got the work done without delay. I enjoyed the crew very much. When speaking with the office personnel there was always time to check things out without delay. If I had a question or a comment to make the responses were pretty quick to come and the questions answered satisfactorily. Now, the work is done, my gutters are new, the roof is new and it all looks cohesive and professionally done. This company is the best. We had a new roof installed and it is beautiful. The crew was professional and personable and took 2 days to remove and install our new, fabulous roof. Additionally, they removed our crummy gutters and replaced them with new ones. Not a nail, staple or tiny bit of roofing was left. Don't bother with another company. You'll love the results!

Not only did they have a reasonable price for our roof and patio, the crew was VERY professional and cleaned up all of the debris as the job progressed. It is unusual today to find this quality of work and care for their clients. Had one issue and they promptly sent a crew and fixed it. Would highly recommend this company. Great job Sam!

Our roofing journey started 3 years ago when we bought our house knowing that it has an original roof so we have had different companies knock on our door every few months or so. Quotes would be absolutely outrageous promising everything under the sun but none of them made sense for our rather small home. Luckily, we kept our options open and I reached out to the best realtor and friend, Kate Bergsgaard, who recommended that we reach out to Tim at Superior Roofing and boy are we glad we did! He was not pushy at all, like the other salesmen, and did a great job at explaining what should be the average cost for a home like ours. We were pleased not only by the quote but the honesty and communication. They were able to complete the project in one whole day! It turned out beautiful!There are many roofing companies but trust me when I say, get at least 3 quotes and go with the one that treat you the best, for us, that was Superior Roofing.

These guys are pros. I’m not sure why they have a few lower reviews. The roofing business is inherently messy… they cleaned up our neighbors yard and ours, better than they found it. Reasonably priced, prompt, friendly and hardworking. The owner even came out to check on us and came back again for a final inspection. Easy 5 stars.

My 2-3 day roof installation turned into a 4 week nightmare. While installing the roof they cracked one of my skylights then tried to upsell me on the other one that wasn't damaged. They tore up the sheetrock around both skylights then "fixed" it with packing tape. Scratched up the siding on my house then tried 2 times to "clean" it which made it worse with splotches everywhere.

To get them to repair the sheetrock AND the siding was a constant fight. Sam (the owner) kept trying to tell me it all looked fine. Before they even started I told them I needed to be notified BEFORE they did anything that increased the cost of the estimate. They did not, then added an extra $100 to the bill for "damaged wood". I understand issues can arise, but a professional company will take responsibility and not make the customer fight for what's right. This was a neighborhood company that had good reviews so I thought I'd picked well. Beware.

Update: The response to this review from the owner is indicative of how our interactions went. I expected to have a new roof put on my house, not a 4 week long fight to fix the things that were damaged. The pictures speak for themselves.

Our relationship with Sam and Superior Roofing began about four years ago when Sam came highly recommended. We initially hired him to inspect our roof. At that time, he advised that the roof still had some life left and suggested a few minor maintenance tasks to extend its longevity.

Fast-forward to this year, we reached out to Sam again for another inspection. This time, he recommended replacing the roof—it was clear the time had come. Superior Roofing handled the project exceptionally well. Our home, which is larger than average with an expansive roof, required about eight days to complete. Throughout the process, the crew and office staff were highly responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with.

After the project was finished, a few issues came to light, which is not uncommon for a project of this scale. Superior Roofing promptly addressed them, and their repair team proved to be incredibly skilled, hardworking, and thorough. We couldn’t be happier with both the process and the end result. Superior Roofing truly lived up to their name!

We were extremely disappointed with our experience with Superior Roofing. First, the communication with the front office was truly terrible. We had limited communication from them leading up to our project, and once the project was (mostly) completed, they were impossible to contact regarding outstanding items. We have multiple co-owners, and therefore multiple phone numbers, so it was very easy to see that they were screening our calls when they didn’t have an answer for us. Second, they left the dump trailer in our driveway for an entire week (making it unusable), and we weren’t able to get through to them on the phone during that time. When we finally were able to get through to them, they weren’t even aware that it was still there. Third, they damaged lots of our asbestos siding and left huge portions of our house uncovered. It took over a month to get them to come back out and repair the siding. During this time we had a separate siding contractor to come out and take a look at the situation (he was previously a roofer), and he could see that we had a reverse lap on all our flashing (meaning the building paper and the flashing were not in the correct order, meaning water could leak into our walls). It was not until we had this contractor call Superior and explain the severity of the issue that Sam, the owner, finally agreed to come out and look at the damage. Sam agreed to fix the issues, but after the first pass, only the easiest part was fixed. We had to have him come back out, and he claimed that the angled areas of our roof were “too difficult” to fix (despite the fact that Superior bid this job and mentioned no issues at that time). It was only when threatening to file a complaint with the CCB that he finally agreed to fix it. They finished up these repairs in late September. Our roof project took place in the middle of April. I’m giving them two stars instead of one because they did eventually fix what they broke, but we’re left with poorly painted patchwork siding, and exhausted from months of fighting them on this.

Fast.....I like the job!

I called Jeff when I saw moss growing on my roof, he came out within a day and scheduled the next day to clean my roof. When he finished it looked brand new! Great work Jeff! Thank you.

Jeff did a great job cleaning my roof, it looks great. I mentioned I was getting my house painted a week after the roof cleaning, and he also took extra care to make sure my siding was very clean after the job. I would recommend Jeff to anyone.

Portland Roof Cleaning and Gutter Service did another excellent job cleaning our roof and gutters this year, not to mention also cleaning up afterward. The owner, Jeff Mcdougal provides great customer service, is punctual and reasonably priced . Ive been using them for almost 8 yrs now and finally decided to write a review. I would highly recommend!

We had a great experience working with Jeff! He was prompt, courteous, and very thorough. He cleaned the roof and gutters on 2 of our houses in one day, and they look brand new. We are so happy with his work and will definitely hire him again for our next roof service. We would recommend him to anyone!

I used futura again for 2 for apartments that we have been working on. Antonio and Kim did another fabulous job and worked hard the apartments looking great. Again here no disappointment really like working with this company and they really do a good job. Definitely recommend.
