KVN Construction did an excellent job re-siding and painting our entire 2,400 square foot home. The whole project was done in three weeks, including tear down of old siding, and caused us no inconvenience. Great care was taken to protect the surrounding property and landscaping. The crew provided great communication and responsiveness in addition to perfect results. We received multiple bids on the job and went with KVN for competitive pricing, experience, and great reviews, and we made the right choice. We will use them for any future jobs - window install, etc, and we highly recommend them!

I am thrilled to recommend KVN Construction for roofing, window replacement and siding. I have a 1994 house and casita which had its original LP siding, windows and roof. After many years of rain, sun, and many rounds of paint, the siding was failing, the front windows were fogged, and the north side roof was growing a forest of moss. Enter KVN construction the savior of 27 years of a NW weather beating on this old house. They bought their A-game of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism to my project and design wishes. Daniel, gave me the details and choices for my project, Oleg was a good critique of my design, Zack, Luis, the siders, the roofers, Leo, Carlos, and Sergio, are all top notch in their trades. The site was tidy at the days end. The project moved along in about 6 weeks. I highly recommend their company, and 30 years of experience.

Great communication and KVN worked with a tight schedule for my kid's graduation party! I felt well-informed. The crew was polite, flexible, and took great care of my property while the work was being done. I feel confident that I made a smart investment and I'm proud that I supported a locally-owned and -operated business. If I ever need siding/window/door work again, I'm definitely coming back.

Update: KVN has updated our siding where we had some water damage and replaced our roof. Everyone working on their team has been wonderful and they have also recommended other companies for us to work with on other projects when we had difficulty finding a company who could do the job. They have a very good network for recommendations. When we had our siding done due to a leak, they recommended we get new windows also. We hired a company to do a water test on the windows and they couldn't find a leak so we didn't change them out. Years later when we did replace the windows, we saw that they were a problem. Javier from KVN came to our house several times to look at the problem and see how the compromised windows had affected the siding (and to make sure that there were no problems that the roofing or siding had caused). He came out immediately on the same or next business day and arranged to be here when other contractors were here and fixed the new damage to the siding. We wanted to pay him but KVN would not take money even though they had advised us to change the windows years ago but we had not. We are amazed at how serious they are about guaranteeing their work years later after it was done and also to see how much integrity KVN has. They really went above and beyond what was expected.

As you can see from the photos; my building was completely transformed by KVN Construction. Prior to the work being done I was experiencing leaking every time it rained, and not the structure is water tight. My neighbors stop me to comment on what a positive change they see in the building. I have also heard people say how respectful and professional the KVN was- and I agree!

My wife and I had KVN redo the siding on our 120 year old home in NE Portland and they did a beautiful job! We purchased the house a year ago and knew going in that the siding was in rough shape and would have to be completely replaced. We had a bit of a complicated existing condition (2 layers of partially rotted siding nailed directly to the 2x3 studs, with windows installed between the two layers) and they had to hand-cut and the framing around most of our windows and reset them, as well as put up all new plywood sheathing and then the new Hardie siding over that. The crew was great. The project ended up happening about two months after they initially predicted, but they were communicative throughout and got it done fast once they started, despite incredibly high summer temperatures. We're so happy we can rest assured that our house is protected from the weather, and looks amazing.

Very good experience with KVN. We got exactly what we paid for and we are very happy with the results. The workmanship was spot on. Clean and professional. Had a problem with the down spouts on the gutters, called Cody and he had it fixed right away at no additional cost.

Let's start with your new siding will look great. The subs are excellent, and their prices are comparable to any company in the area.

However, be prepared as much as they try and minimize it your home will be 100% damaged in the interior. Read the fine/tiny print in your contract as they do NOT pay for any interior damages including electrical, they created.

I'm still finding cracks that have to be repaired along with a new long indentation that has started on one wall. Even if they do agree to come out and look at the damage, they will still DO NOTHING to fix it.

Buyer beware!

I contracted in spring of 2022 with KVN for new James Hardie siding and painting of my duplex townhome. From the first interview by the owner of KVN Construction, I was impressed with the company. I had interviewed three other companies, none of which provided the knowledge, written materials, comprehensive photos and drawings of work to be done. Because of the poor original downspout downspout/soffit design, there was a lot of water damage in hidden places in the building. The KVN team designed a soffit and downspout structure to provide excellent and appropriate drainage.
In addition to their excellent work, the skilled team members were great to have around. The team manager always answered my questions. My phone calls and texts were responded to promptly, and I was always consulted when unexpected issues arose.

The painting company that KVN assigned to paint the siding was equally excellent, responsive, and accommodating. Amazingly, the cost of the project was less than bids of inferior companies.
Recently, I had the exterior lights and other fixtures reinstalled. The installers commented on the excellent workmanship of the project. I recommend KVN Construction highly and without reservation.

KVN did an incredible job on our project! They were very patient with us - as we were completing an addition build prior to siding. I was a little confused at first because there seemed to be a new "head" person in charge of each phase, but that turned out to be great because each one was an expert in charge of a crew - painting, siding... They provided 1 hr consultation with a designer to help me figure out the vision I was going for. An update without breaking the bank - little changes we could make to bring our house out of the 90's. I would definitely use KVN on any future house project and recommend them to others! Very high quality work!

I can’t say enough good things about KVN. We slogged through a lot of ambiguous quotes.The KBN quote was by far the most detailed and easiest to understand. The sales rep demonstrated every step the workers would take, every material they would use, to keep our house water tight for years. The costs were clearly outlined. I expected the total to be unaffordable but it was in same ballpark as another quote we received that was inferior. Plus they have 0% financing for 12 months if you qualify . Any potential repair outside the contract was photographed and had to be approved by us. We had only one hour of repair for a small area of dry rot. The siders, gutter installers and painters worked with precision and kept the mess to a minimum. We feel very secure as we enter our retirement years in our water-tight house!

I had KVN do a complete exterior replacement of my house down to the plywood sheathing. They replaced the doors, windows, building wrap, siding & gutters and completed with a new paint scheme. They also were kind enough to demolish the old deck while on site (extra cost, but well worth the money) and haul away all the debris. Kirill stayed engaged from early contract questions through final closeout documents (and the financing). Alex helped with the estimate and scope, Zack coordinated the schedule and logistics, Javier kept an eye on the schedule and the various crews and Luis lead the boots on the ground day to day. I would definitely use this company again, but probably won't need to for another 30-years.

We had KVN replace our siding, roof, gutters, front door, and sliding glass back door. They did an amazing job and were very friendly. I would recommend them and have as y neighbors across the street are getting a quote from them soon.

KVN Construction replaced our 20+ year old roof, and upgraded our original (1979) house siding to James Hardie siding. We also elected for a gutter installation over our front entry, which was non-existent beforehand. The roof replacement is a far superior product and the craftsmanship, such as the proper ventilation system is top notch. KVN Construction explained their process in depth, and gives you options based on your preference and budget. However they will demonstrate the differences in material's performance from good, better, and best options offered. The KVN Construction crews are diligent to adapt to your projects requests. The paint specialist (Mary) helped us find and select our dream exterior paint colors and accents for trim. Our family has the peace of mind and ability to breathe a whole lot easier knowing the leaks and mold are gone. We're pleased to have chosen KVN Construction to remodel our house!

We are very happy we went with KVN for our siding, gutter, and painting needs. We bought an older hole that needed alot of work and Kirill and the team were great through the whole process from start to finish. I wish we would have had them do the roof too :) But they were great at communicating with the other roofing company during our replacement to make sure everything would work with the siding install :) Also the attention to detail was amazing! We went with bright colors for the house and we were impressed the the paint job and the details they did under the porch and their ability to work around our wisteria.

I had KVN replaced 13 windows in my house and redo the siding on two sides. I had old T11 siding that was buckling, warping, and rotting in certain places. Other places were just fine. His crew removed all the old damaged pieces and replaced them with solid plywood and then covered everything with Hardie plank horizontal siding to match the other two sides of the house. Where they found water damage after removing the old siding they repaired that before covering it up. The damaged part was done on a time and material basis and the owner had previously told me, though he could not guarantee a price for that, the estimate he gave me verbally was right on. His crew were friendly and efficient to work with. The work they did was professional and flawless. Since I had previously replaced the siding on another side of my house myself, I was quite the critic on the quality of their work so when I say it’s five star, it’s really five star. Afterwards they painted the entire house. I was given the option of having them paint just the sides that they worked on or painting everything; and, for the small additional cost, I did the whole thing. I’m really glad I did because they did a wonderful job in the house looks great. Their bid was not the lowest bit I received, but after talking to the owner Oleg, in assessing his great knowledge of the type of work I was asking him to bid, I picked his company and am very glad I did. Yes it was a big price tag, but when the house needs to be fixed, it needs to be fixed. I hope this helps you choose this company for your project.
