Odaya and his crew did a super job trimming a maple away from the roof and pruning limbs off another maple for more clearance over the driveway. I appreciated that they pruned enough but not too much, taking care with the whole process.

Oh mercy- Vladimir and his marvellous crew wrought such a lovely change in the yard!!! Thoughtful and careful and like a master puzzler figuring out how to remove the rest of a sick plum that has given so much beauty- those spring blooms!-and fruit through the years- sorry to see this gorgeous tree go but so grateful for the work of these folks! Even the small seedlings below were considered and saved. I came home to an opened sky and a pile of mulch and all the bits n pieces gathered and stacked-only wish I could have been there to see it happen! Lucky to have Vladimir recommended by a friend, and I freely recommend in turn!

Odaya and Leslie were great. Personal, knowledgeable, professional, and efficient, doing some much needed pruning on three different trees in our yard. Fantastic, personalized service. There is no rushing to get the job done and leaving behind a mess. They take the time to tell you a diagnosis and walk through the recommended options. Cutting down a healthy tree is not the standard response. These are people who care about tree health and the ecosystem of which it's a part. Vladimir and his team were probably the nicest people I have ever met! They were extremely knowledgeable and got the job done fast and we got a great pile of bark dust out of the whole deal! Vladimir and team were excellent to work with. They removed a couple of invasive trees on our property line and the job was completed with precision and care. Vladimir sent updates regarding how it was going - easy and frequent communication - would not hesitate to recommend whole-heartedly and hire again.

The Discerning Beaver crew did an excellent job trimming back high branches in tall firs to create a fire buffer near the house. Their attention to safety was impressive and reassuring. All heavy branches were lowered slowly on ropes, avoiding damage to the house and fence below. Branches that could be cut into useful firewood were put to the side while all the smaller trimmings were chipped and hauled away, leaving a clean work site at the end of the day. First class.

We have had Valdimir trim our maple tree three times and each time he’s done a magnificent job. Both of the men are very good workers, and easy to talk to very nice people, and very reasonable. I will use them again.

Vladimir and Jesse have been working for me this last year doing fire prevention work on my 10 acre property on Chehalem Mountain. They are the best combination of practical knowledge and spirit filled stewardship. Each decision is made collaboratively. Listening is valued as much as talking. They address the fear I have about fire at the same time as they care for all the ornamental plantings I have invested my heart in. I needed a large cherry tree on my property trimmed to meet Pacific Power requirements after upgrading my meter and panel. Vladimir was very responsive. He fit me into his schedule within the week and then ended up coming 2 days sooner when he finished another job early.

It was important to me that the tree was not impaired in anyway because it is very large and the roots are next to the house foundation. He was got that and not only did he clear the power lines it also looks great. It was not a butcher job that left the tree looking unbalanced.

And the bonus was he took out two other small trees in the way of my garage building project AND all for a competitive price. I would highly recommend Vladimir's service.
