We hired Wild Oasis for a complex and challenging landscaping job that several others had either passed on or seemed stumped by. From the beginning, Alex (the owner) impressed us with his thoughtful planning, clear communication, and confident approach to a destroyed yard: a post-construction disaster zone wherein our entire quarter-acre plot of land was turned into a pit of uneven, impacted mud.
Our project involved building a retaining wall, grading, improving drainage, and hauling away a large dump truck of poor quality fill dirt. It was a tough job, but they handled it with incredible professionalism and skill from start to finish. Not only did they tackle the hard work with skill and efficiency, but they also went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right—down to the last detail, suggesting water timers and tripod sprinklers that worked well. Their team was professional, and respectful. The dumpster company he hired accidentally knocked over my mailbox. I texted him about it the evening I noticed it; it was replaced by the next morning.
Also, Alex genuinely seemed to care about the outcome, calling and later stopping by after a week to check the progress. The end result was even better than we imagined. What was once a sad and frustrating yard is now beautiful, usable, and a joy to spend time in again. We’re incredibly grateful for their hard work and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for quality landscaping—especially for projects that are a challenge or too difficult for others. We plan to hire Wild Oasis to come back to help us naturescape our property ASAP.
Thank you again for an amazing job! -
Alex is an amazing steward of the land. I appreciate how he weaves the wild into a design that feels tended to without needing to much extra attention. He’s also a very kind person who looks out for his friends, his family and his clients so you and your land are in good hands with Wild Oasis.

Alex has a real talent for envisioning and designing outdoor spaces, transforming them into beautiful, welcoming environments -- while balancing aesthetics with practical, low-maintenance options to ensure long-term success. I really appreciated all the helpful tips and thoughtful advice he shared throughout the process. Alex is a great guy all around, knowledgeable, approachable, and passionate about his craft. Totally recommend working with him

Alex is a total gem 💯 Super savvy, grounded, and has serious vision and passion when it comes to land. He helped me see possibilities in my yard I never would’ve imagined that felt both soulful and functional. Deep listener, creative thinker, and just a joy to work with. If you want a space that actually feels alive (not just pretty), he’s your guy 🌿

Me encanta ver plantas en Lowe's

Good selection of plants and garden supplies. If you go on a nice sunny weekend expect to wait in line at the checkout though.

Nice place for gardening supplies. I love shopping at Home Depot :)

Outstanding selection, even in these times. Great prices too!

The best plants we have seen in while, will be back. Very nice store

Typical Home Depot. Idiot employee at register didn't do anything to help, but still had the nerve to solicit me for a good review. Well here you go Einstein!

Has no snow shovels and their garden center which has all the shovels is closed off for the first, biggest winter storm of the year...
-
Didnt have much of a selection but found something that worked for what I needed

I bought 10 bags of bark mulch. After helping me load my cart, the employee walked away and let me push that heavy cart through the store, through checkout, and across the parking lot, where I loaded all 10 bags in my car No one offered to help. I'll be 69 years old in January.

Hopefully this gets to the correct person, but wanted to say that Howard in the gardening section was extremely helpful and friendly today. It was a nice change from the dwindling skill of great customer service! He deserves some kudos.

I visited the garden shop today, the plants I saw were in better shape than at week days, they were not droopy at least. But, I am surprise average prices of plants are more expensive than Fred Meyer.

Shit CALL SERVICE! They take lifetime to pick up then puts you on hold for another lifetime and ends up speaking to no one.
I regret shopping here. -
Jay took our tiny, mud pit of an urban backyard and turned it into a healing sanctuary. The only direction we have was that we wanted a pool and a hot tub and had limited space. He worked his magic and it is unbelievable what he did with our yard. I can NOT believe that I get to live here every day. Every last detail was thought of and it is crafted so well. It’s so creative and beautiful, a true labor love. Because he loves what he does and it shows in his work. Turn him loose on your yard and don’t ask questions. This is a man to trust your yard with until the very end. All of the sudden it will come together on the most magical way. ❤️

Twelve years ago, when we moved to Portland, our house was surrounded by lawns and old fences. Urban Ecosystems developed a landscape plan and worked with us to implement it. We soon replaced our lawns with gardens and new trees, and ecological infrastructure that included French drains and rain barrels. They also replaced our aging stairway with natural stone, and replaced our rotting deck, so it now feels like a comfortable tree house. We highly recommend Urban Ecosystems, whether the transformation needed is great (like ours) or more modest so the local landscape is pleasing to the eye while it is welcoming to native birds and bees.
