DeSantis charged a very high price to top dress my lawn with compost. They used ground up wood products with no nutrient value. I had to rake out the sticks destroying the newly sprouting seed. They reduced my bill by 15% but refused to accept responsibility or refund my money. Would prefer to give them a demerit rather than any stars.

For the last few years DeSantis Landscape has maintained the six-acre private park of the Abiqua Heights Homeowners Association. Their work has been exemplary. Our organization could not be happier with the company – the management (including the owner), our company representative, and all the various crews have all worked to make our relationship a very positive one. Our community consists of 155 homes so there is a variety of needs, wants, and opinions….and it is not easy to please everyone. What is most admirable about DeSantis is that every time an issue or concern was communicated to them, they to took it to heart. It would be wonderful if things were always perfect, but what might be better is when something is amiss there is the desire to make it right. That is our experience with DeSantis Landscape.

if I could leave ZERO stars I would. This company does not have ANY respect for peoples property or vehicles. I live in an apartment complex they regularly service, not only do they blow leaves and pine needles onto our porches. They blow gravel, dirt, and debris onto our vehicles. and in turn my brand new vehicle has been damaged. HAVE NOT ONCE SEEN THEM DO ACTUAL LANDSCAPING WORK. JUST BLOWING DEBRIS EVERYWHERE. NOT PROFESSIONAL.

I called today to speak to someone in charge about the lack of attention to detail this company provides at the Logan Place apartment complex in Salem, Oregon. I explained that there Work performance is inadequate, Many times the workers have left leaves and Pineneedles and debris all over the walk areas from door steps to cars, Along with blowing debris all over cars. This is not just a one time thing this has been a repeated occurrence. When I tried to explain this to someone, they asked if they could transfer me to someone else to which I was hung up on. I know someone else in this complex also left them at one star and my original call was to help get the one star removed from their Google reviews by asking them to do a better job next time and I would convince the other person to remove their one star. I guess they don’t really care that much now they’ve got multiple one stars… Oh well, I guess

Birch Landscape did a big clean-up of my yard in February 2013. They did an excellent job, pruning all the mature shrubs and trees back to a more manageable size using good pruning techniques. In one day, they brought my yard into shape. It would have taken me weeks to do this work. Since then, I've hired Birch to do weekly maintenance of my yard and garden. They are prompt, tidy, word hard, and do a great job of tackling the weeds, edging and mowing, and distinguishing weeds from plants I want to keep. Did I mention that they're very nice people?

Birch Landscape is outstanding! They have never missed a week and all of the staff is professional and owner is responsive and professional. The prices are very fair. They have done an excellent job on many extra projects for me. I highly recommend this company!

We have used Birch Landscape for years, they are wonderful! I cannot recommend them highly enough. They do fantastic work, the staff are great. so helpful and easy to talk to if you have a request or question. Hire them, you will not be sorry.

Seems like the quality is dropping. A couple weeks ago the back lawn was not all cut and today the missed using the blower to remove debris.

A person working for this company cut in a bank line when people had been waiting in line long before he had gotten there. Barley speaks English when I confronted him about it. He was extremely rude and refused to go back to the spot he should be in. I'm 8 months pregnant and to be treated so disresepectfully by someone in your company is outrageous.

All of the work done by Russell's at my home was mediocre at best. In spite of mentioning it three times during the project and being assured that it would be done, grass and weeds were not removed from the area being worked on. They just got covered up by dirt and I found out a week later when the weeds started to grow through the new dirt that was added and $500 extra was added to the bill because "extra equipment was needed to remove the layers of weeds and grass". The irrigation boxes are crooked and not level and the zone that was installed for where there is going to be sod doesn't provide coverage for the entire area. The hose bib and post that were installed were also crooked in opposite directions so I had to dig the post up to make it straight. I marked out an area in white chalk paint where a paver patio is going to be installed so nothing would get put there but ended up having to relocate three sprinkler heads because they were inside the lines. The entire area was supposed to be graded and sloped slightly away from the house to encourage run off towards the street but it just turned out to be a mound with the center being the highest part. Two drip irrigation zones were part of the project and when I asked about them being installed I was told by the foreman that I could just call back in after I had finished planting so they could place the emitters correctly. He didn't mention that it would cost more to finish off the work. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

No stars. Employees put their personal garbage in my garbage bins. They've moved my garbage bins up to three houses down because they happen to be scheduled the same day as garbage pick up. They fail to clean the property and leave debris piles all over. I recommend using anybody except this company.

Best service I have received ever!
