We had them rip our lawn out and install a paver patio.

I shopped this job to 3 local companies. I chose Arne cause he asked questions and brought up things the other firms didn't. On top of that, his quote was in the middle on price and included things the most expensive one didn't.

These were pretty close to apples-to-apples quotes as I had all 3 quote on the same scope of work.

When quoting the job, it was a bit slow going on communication - but this was likely due to contacting them at the end of summer when they had lots going on. They always got back to me and were patient with all my questions.

Chad was their team lead on my project and he was amazing to work with. Would meet me in the mornings if I requested it to go over details as the project moved along. Had good ideas on how to tackle various concerns. Overall just a pure joy to work with.

Here's my real thought. There are good and not so good reviews here.

If you want to be treated like you are more important than anybody else, and have your answers immediately, this "feels" like a smaller family-owned company that maybe isnt going to be able to treat you like the king you think you are.

But if you understand they do high quality work and have more jobs than just yours - and you want it done right by highly skilled workers - this is the company you want. They make you feel apart of the process and make it a very collaborative one. I had super high expectations for this project (600+ SQ ft of paver patio, french drain, plant moving, sprinkler system adjustments)....and they exceeded in all areas.

Twice this company came to our house and discussed a landscape plan. Then promptly disappeared. The second time after months they returned phone calls. The work was finally finished and the cost was 20% higher than the estimate and the result doesn't reflect the cost. Reading the reviews I see others have had the same problems with them responding.. I believe they only want big expensive jobs.

We started off hopeful - great communication, and worked with us to get an after business hours in home estimate. We spent a good chunk of time with Aren, talking about types of trees, what did and didn't work, etc. He then sat in our driveway, took plenty of photos, and got us a quote for the work within minutes.

And that was the last of the reliable communication we had from them.

We requested changes to the quote, and it took them over a month of ignored emails and phone calls to eventually make our changes. We accepted, and then radio silence again. Over another month later, I finally called them only to be told that we couldn't be scheduled until November, as it was now too late to plant trees. If they'd have got back to us in a timely manner, we could have had the 15 trees planted that we wanted.

Highly suggest you stay away if you have any form of deadline you need to work to, or indeed any desire to work on a defined time frame.

We wished we had read the reviews before we put a deposit down of$1600 back in December of 2021. We also started off hopeful when Aren came by to take a look at our yard. We were expecting to hear from them at least around spring time 2022 about plans and start dates but never did. It was also radio silence. We had to reach out to them and this was towards end of May 2022. It was email after email with the office saying Arne will come by, Arne will be texting you back. But nothing. So by the end of August, still after no communication , we asked for our deposit back and they said NO. So very disappointed. We were hoping at least half of the deposit. They did not even reach out to us to apologize. i would not go with them. We finally went with someone else and could not be happier. Highly suggest also to stay away.

I hired Neri's team for a special project to dig out and level a 48 x 11 foot space, installing over 7 yards of two types of rock. When finished, it was perfection. Neri was on time, courteous and just a great person to work with. His price was fair and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I highly recommend Neri and his team.

When I was looking for a new landscape maintenance company several years ago, a friend recommended Neri. I have been pleased with his and Juan’s work. If I want to do my own pruning of my roses, hydrangeas or other plants, they are respectful of that, as well as keeping herbicides from my garden area. Neri is easy to communicate with and promptly responds to texts. I would definitely recommend this service to others.
