Contacted the owner Nate from recommendation and he was here the next day with the lead of his tree crew, and they had my 100 ft pine removed and the other pine raised up. I was indecisive with the removal if I wanted one or two removed, and went back and forth a couple times. I was met with patience, and support. Victor explained things to me in a way that was easy to understand, and helped me feel confident I was making the right decision. He communicated with me the whole time letting me know when they were leaving for lunch, and when they would be back. Was quoted a day, but a chainsaw went down and they had to finish up the next day which was no problem at all. I have a high maintenance yard that I have been trying to overhaul myself (unsuccessfully) so I look forward to working with them again real soon.

Eastman Landscape has been fabulous. We have used them for years for our rentals and for our home periodically. Great people who do an excellent job. Flexible and professional.

Our small front yard had a clover lawn and irises. After someone complained to our HOA, they decided that clover is a 'weed' and our yard had to be redone in July.

I contacted Eastman about the problem and the owner Nate listened, explained he was very busy, but would get his installer Kris out within two weeks to give an estimate. Within a week I had a very fair estimate - Kris walked our property and saw our aesthetic, our location, and designed a gorgeous front landscape that's a carry-forward of our 'cottage' back yard but suitable for the HOA's desire for everyone's lawn to look the same.

Two days rip out and install of a yard, new sod, boulder scape, and reprogramming my sprinklers for the needs of the new areas/install. Not a speck of dirt left behind or a blade of grass out of place.

Very prompt, very transparent in planning and price (came in $2500 less than the verbal estimate!) and exceptional communication. Eastman Landscape Maintenance will be our go-to for all of our personal landscaping needs from here on out as well as our friends, relatives... and I will certainly recommend them first to all of my business associates.

We were having issues with our auto valve for our water feature. I got ahold of them fairly quickly out of the many landscaping companies I called. Kristopher came within a couple days. He was very professional. After taking a look, he was able to provide a solution on the spot. He pointed out shortcuts that the installers had taken and offered more long term solutions. We will be following up with him for our future needs and I recommend his company to others.

We are very happy with Eastman Landscape Services. We moved to Salem a little over a year ago from eastern Oregon into a home with extensive landscaping - many trees, shrubs and a water feature. When we had trouble with the pump in the water feature a neighbor recommended Eastman. Kristopher and his crew were very responsive. Rather than just change out the pump, pick up their tools and move on, Kristopher explained how the system worked, why the pump needed to be replaced, and how to troubleshoot if we had any issues. They even came back to check on it after a few days to make sure it was working properly. The cost was reasonable and we were given several choices on what pump to install at various costs.

When we wanted to install low-voltage landscape lighting around the home, Eastman was our first call. Kristopher introduced us to Bonique who came out twice to confer on placement. Her ideas were very tasteful and understated, which was exactly what we wanted. The crew came out quickly, worked through inclement weather, and installed the lights on separate timers for the front and back yards. They are beautiful, and I really enjoy driving up to our home after dark and seeing the work they performed.

It can be hard to find quality, competent people to do the kind of work that is way beyond our ability as homeowners. Eastman is great. Highly recommend.

This driver clearly does not care about the community safety. Been park at a fire lane and blocking the driveway is clearly careless and dangerous.

Eastman landscape service need to train their drivers with basic traffic laws.

Parking lot was empty but this driver decided to put our community in danger.

Shameful

Worse/ laziest landscapers ever!!!! Every year I say blow leaves and debris not towards the house how about towards the street and pick it up. My neighbors and I take pride in our gardens and every Monday I have to use my leaf blower to clean our yards back up after Eastman leaves. Even asked to speak to someone who spoke English and they still do it. My management company “supposedly” complained as well. I know other great companies I wish we would hire instead.

What a difference one day can make! Yes, I said one day. They started in the morning and finished by afternoon! We have wanted to upgrade our front yard since moving into our home 6 years ago. Make it low maintenance, but fit within the scope and details of the neighborhood. We worked with Eastman Landscape Services who took our words and turned them into a beautiful front yard. We met a couple of times and they listened to what I was saying and turned it into a yard we can be proud of! I love my yard and am grateful for the professional service we received. They know their business and will do a great job for you. I recommend them with pure confidence that you will be as happy and pleased as we are. As a bonus, Nate, Kris and crew are wonderful to work with. Genuinely nice people! Thank you again and again Nate!

As a real estate broker, I regularly need landscape work done for the homes I sell. And my first call is to Kris with Eastman Landscape Services. Kris even drove out of his way to help a client of mine who was having trouble with their sprinkler system and fixed it same day. Arne created a landscape plan for our property that is beautiful, drought resistant and easy maintenance.

We worked with Arne Jensen Landscaping in the summer of 2025 to install a new fiberglass pool in our back yard. Aren and team, and his foreman Travis, were simply amazing to work with. They completed our entire project, which in addition to installing the pool, included regrading the lawn, building retaining walls, a new irrigation system, and a complete landscape design, in roughly 3.5 months.

Aren has a great eye for design, and came with a lot of great ideas, while also listening to us closely to understand what we wanted and what was important to us. Travis made sure all of the details were handled, and that everything was done with a high standard of quality. Once the project was completed, they followed up as needed to address any issues we had. The result was a collaborative effort that turned our boring patch of grass into a backyard oasis.

Arne Jensen Landscaping has taken care of our lawn and yard for the past 5 years or so. They are always courteous, helpful and friendly. If I have a special request, they take care of it. They even make suggestions that make things look better. Most of the time they just show up every week and do the mowing, trimming, blowing, fertilizing, etc., and I am never bothered unless I need to talk with them. I know the owners and several of their staff and they are all great people. They care for our lawn as though it were their own.
