Salem Heating had installed furnace when the house was originally built and in 2009 added heat pump. Had them come for checkups. But we knew system was getting old. We decided to consider replacing heat pump. Got a few estimates. Scott was the best in CLEARLY showing us why we would need to replace both furnace and heat pump and not try to jenga something together. Cost was competitive. They fit our schedule for the install. Was a two day job. Ed was here ahead of time for precise measuring and planning so no surprises. He further confirmed what Scott had advised. They were not at all pushy. Randy & Jeff were on time both days. They were considerate of our spaces. The job went smoothly, finished on time and the workmanship appears top-notch. They even helped us reprogram our Nest thermostat. Works very well!

Jeff came fully prepared with a service backpack of all the tools needed to troubleshoot the heat pump problem. As he performed tests he explained what he was doing & why. I liked this! When my husband arrived, he quickly explained the issues & my husband made the final decision on how to proceed. Well done Woodward HVAC!

Great experience despite bad news that we need a new water line!!! Glad to know Woodward can take care of the entire operation. The team that was here was absolutely awesome, professional, and communicated with us every step of the way. Even when things got difficult because of the way the original plumbing was installed, they pulled all their resources and developed a plan to address each hurdle. I highly recommend PJ and his team, and Woodward will always be our first call for any and all plumbing, heating, and other household needs.

When you open the doors below the kitchen sink and find a pool of water from an unknown source, you want action. And Fast! And that is what I got from Woodward Heating and Plumbing. They were there within a couple hours, identified the problem and within a few more hours I had a happy resolution.

We recently changed from one heating service company to Woodward. In the first five minutes I could tell we would be receiving a superior servicing. The old company just evaluated our unit with amp meters, etc. Woodward's technician took the burner apart and cleaned parts that hadn't been cleaned since we purchased our home. When he said we needed a new unit we confident we needed it. When the replacement unit was a direct replacement at 50% of the old companies estimate was a blessing. We have confidence the work is needed.

The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. Spoke about the issue in plain language so it was easy to follow and had me back up and running on a Saturday! You've earned my business and I look forward to continuing using them for my AC/Furnace needs.

I scheduled a simple hot water heater flush, and I’m so grateful Joey was the technician who came out. He discovered that my water heater had been installed incorrectly by a previous contractor, causing rust buildup and several drainage and placement issues I never would have known about. Joey took the time to explain everything clearly, showed me what the correct installation should look like, and even found the right replacement model for when I’m ready.

What impressed me most is that he didn’t charge me for the inspection and told me to save the money for the new unit. His honesty, patience, and professionalism were outstanding. I highly recommend Joey and truly appreciate the exceptional service.

I highly recommend Woodward for your home heating and air conditioning needs. From beginning to end, I was very impressed with their service. The sales person was extremely knowledgeable about options and incentives through department of energy and energy trust of Oregon, and they made a very nice customized quote right away based on my needs and wants. I got quotes from 4 other local companies and Woodward had great prices and advanced options. The installation day was smooth and efficient and they really took care of every detail. The new system is great! I got rid of my ancient gas furnace and now have an extended capacity heat pump for all my heat and cooling needs! My brother and my dad also got new heating/cooling systems from Woodward this fall and were very happy with their experience.

At 4 AM this past Wednesday my furnace stopped working. As the lights were still working I knew the problem lay with the furnace and immediately looked up Woodward on my phone and gave a call. Their automated answering service is first rate and arranged for a call back. Casey returned my call and we setup an appointment. The tech Jeff, and absolute delight to work with arrived early and got right to work. The problem was quickly diagnosed, the needed replacement part was in the van. Problem fixed in a timely manner for a fair price. This is not the 1st time I've used Woodward and based on the consistently high quality of their work, but they will always be my 1st to call.

Not a 5 star because they cut out the AC drainage system we had without asking. We have to divert the condensation from the AC using PVC pipe to our gutter drain. Now, the water is going to mold/mildew the artificial turf we have sitting next to it. Someone was suppose to call & arrange a time for them to fix it & replace the PVC pipe. It's been almost a month...

And, the insulation around the crawlspace was not put back where it was. It was just laying on the ground under the house.

I'm very impressed with Woodward Heating. The team has been helpful and professional. Cory in the office was always very nice and was willing to answer my questions. Everything was upfront and transparent. Art and Michael were professional and hardworking. They put in the extra mile and were very knowledgeable.

Quick, efficient and honest our tech was Wylde. Answering all of my questions, making sure to physically show me the issues so there was no doubt. Is our furnace toast? Yes. Do I know why? Also yes. 5 start for the honesty and the efficiency!

Great job!! Staff was prompt, professional, and competent. The age and construction of the house provided some challenges, but the crew modified the plan to fit the house while optimizing the hardware. Truly excellent installation and I couldn't be happier.

We had a new water service installed. My husband is a retired plumber and was very impressed with the professionalism and work ethic shown by all of the employees. We are very pleased with the job and highly recommend them.

Woodward heating installed my heating and cooling system a few years ago and I had to call them back today because I had some settings wrong. It was 100% my fault. But they showed up and got me back and running in no time.
I wanted to leave review because it's the only heating company I will recommend at this point. I was a local residential contractor here in the valley for 20 years
I've always had them show up promptly and when they say they would and do the job with an excellent attitude.

This was the fastest, friendliest repair man I've ever met. So efficient and respectful, he came in, gave me an estimate and had it repaired in no time. I was so happy with the cost too. I will be calling them for all my plumbing needs.
