Had the folks at Salem Heating and Sheet Metal bid and ultimately install a replacement central AC unit. Not only was their bid / quote significantly less money...they took the time to explain my options in some detail. Had the pleasure of having Mike and Justin come out today and complete the install. Both of them were very courteous and punctual...completing the job in less time than expected.
Would wholeheartedly recommend the firm and the installers!!

I could not ask for a better experience. Scott came out to the house and explained my options in detail and a way easy to understand. I had a Lennox SLP99 gas furnace installed as an axillary heat source. A SL25XPV Lennox heat pump and controlled by an S40 Lennox thermostat. Ed came out, took measurements and made notes for the installers. Andrew, Sterling and Christian came out and did the installation. All work was done to a high quality. Andrew spent the time with me answering my many questions. He left with, “if there is anything you are not happy about call me”.
I have had the system a month now and it runs to protection. We keep our house at 73 degrees and the heat pump speeds up or slows down to maintain that exact temperature. When I say exact, I mean it never varies even one degree. There was a Lennox rebate of $1350. I received the rebate in the form of a Visa card in less than a month.
The temperature can be controlled by my phone which works very well. Tiffany in the office was also very helpful. Every step of the way everyone went out of their way to take care of us. Thank you Salem Heating. See you in a year for the annual service.

Salem Heating came out several times a year, never fixed the problem. Was charged multiple times. My fault, should have looked elsewhere sooner. AC never functioned properly. I called a local service from Dallas , Oregon. They fixed it in 10 minutes, a problem I've had several years, and salem Heating could never figure out.

I had a busted ac during the last heat wave and I was amazed they were able to get someone to me the next day and get it all fixed up!

My heater went out last week. I called Salem Salem Heating And Sheet Metal to come fix it. Bob said he was really busy and couldn’t get me in until the next week. Bob was able to fit me in. Louis came over and checked out my heater. I needed a new part. The next day, Louis was back at around 2 o’clock and put the new part on and got it running. I just wanna give a big shout out to Bob and Louis at Salem Heating And Sheet Metal for Fitting me into their schedule on Thursday.

Fantastic service! Years back they replaced our furnace and did a great job. Recently I became the sole owner of the home and it’s been an overwhelming process. I called the office to schedule a maintenance check up for my furnace and AC. I was able to get on the schedule soon and the receptionist was so kind! She even made notes for the tech to teach me about my system and basic homeowner care. The tech (Lewis) arrived on time and was knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and thorough. So happy to have Salem Heating in my Rolodex of trades that can help me out. Thank you!!

I had my heater serviced today because I wasn't getting any heat. They sent their technician out named Luis who was the nicest friendlyest guy you'd ever want to meet. I was on my roof cleaning my gutters when he arrived so I told him the front door is open and explained what my problem was and where the heater was at and Luis went to work. He noticed me cleaning the gutters out by hand and said hey I got something that might make that job a lot easier and handed me a hand held small blower that he used to blow out the dust and debris from my heater. That's what I call customer service! I had the gutters finished in no time and he had my heater working like a champ in less than an hour! I have had Salem heating and sheet metal do my central air and all my service calls and let me tell you they are a 1st class company. Thanks Luis and thanks Salem heating and sheet metal.

Had Mike, Andrew, and Trenton out to install a new AC system recently. This was replacing the original unit that was 34 years old. The crew was diligent in getting the job done and they were well prepared to complete it that day. The people at Salem Heating & Sheet Metal gathered all the information that was needed to be ready in advance. More than just the installers had worked as a team and the results were outstanding!

Great company to work with. Pricing is very fair in my opinion, workmanship is top quality.
I had them install a mini split unit about a year ago, they were timely, friendly, crews were clean and the work was fantastic. I’m a remodeling contractor by trade, had talked to another big name company that one of my neighbors used who was not happy and seen the work of a second company at another neighbors house that I was not pleased with. After the install they also serviced a preexisting outdoor unit and just recently came back to perform another service on the indoor unit of the preexisting system, once again pricing was very fair and they didn’t doddle or look for sales, addressed the issue, fixed it and moved along.
I’ll continue to use them and you should to.

Salem Heating is phenomenal! They came and serviced my dad's home when a power surge took out the HVAC system in a very reasonable time frame. Their prices are reasonable and the representatives are kind. I went to pay my bill at their office and the secretary went above and beyond. They even let me use their fax machine which was a huge blessing that I desperately needed! I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend.

Martin was incredible. Knowing he couldn't get out for a week to fix my AC unit, he listened to the issue, guided me to check a few things, said "it's probably the capacitor. Here's how to change it. Let me know if you need help or want me to come out." The guy literally saved me a service visit cost and guided me to fix the thing for a $20 part and a half hour of labor by myself. That's how you get customers - exceptional service and great communication.

We remodeled our home recently and Salem Heating initially was contracted to install a mini-split heat pump, which works perfectly in an addition to the house. On top of that, they did great work on our 70-year old ducting in a very tight crawl space, installed a cook range vent hood and more. Scott, Ed, and the entire team were responsive, flexible, and professional at every step of the way. I highly recommend Salem Heating & Sheet Metal!

So I was there buying some part and the two gentleman that help me , super quick and so helpful, the front desk lady super sweet nice lady , you can tell she is still learning and was doing her best, one of the gentlemen asked this other lady to help and she was a bit unpleasant to the front desk lady and also, they were discussing pricing to which the lady that came to help said you can charge her whatever you want with a tone , looks at me and gives me a thumbs up?? I was like okay like I feel she needs to be more professional i felt bad for the front desk lady 😅 because she was trying her best

Salem Heating & Sheet Metal from start to finish provided EXCELLENT customer service and satisfaction. From Scott who came out to do the estimate and appraisal, to Louis who has helped us in the past with repairs and who advised and educated us on what was going on and what was needed, to Ed who came out on his own when his crew had called in sick, to Andrew and Juan who came as fill-ins and did an excellent job. We had been without air-conditioning all summer and it was wonderful to have a new system up and running. Thank you ALL for providing such great customer service!

These guys did a great job from beginning to end. Bid was fast and competitive. Installation was scheduled and completed in a week. Installation was CLEAN!!! as in things are straight, plumb, secure, and well sealed. Also, installation guys put up with me checking things out as it went along and asking a lot of questions. Mike, Sterling, Randy and Jeff from Salem Heating & Sheet Metal installed a new Lennox furnace, air conditioner, and Bradford White hot water heater in our home and did a great job. Had a great overall experience with this company. Scott was able to give us an estimate for adding central AC to our old 1930’s era house. His estimate was great because we had options from the bare minimum unit to the Cadillac unit in the Lennox line and he did a great job explaining the difference in the units. We chose the mid-tier unit that met all our needs but didn’t break the bank.
Ed came out to do a measure up and was fast, efficient, and on time. He explained all the work that would be completed and even identified some minor preexisting issues with our furnace and filter setup that he offered to have fixed while the install was occurring.
On day of installation, Mike and Rick showed up on time and got to work right away. We also had the electrical work done and their contract worker was also great and efficient. All the work was completed by the afternoon and we had working AC by lunchtime! All the work was done professionally and looks fantastic.
When looking around, we did come across other companies that charged less, but we were happy to pay a bit more for high-quality work with high-quality equipment being installed. We couldn’t be more pleased and we highly recommend this company.

I would like to commend Salem Heating and Sheet Metal for the excellent job they did in replacing our 25-year-old HVAC system, which was a complex and challenging system. I quoted three well-known HVAC companies that serve Salem, and ultimately worked closely with Salem Heating and Sheet Metal, as well as another company, to finalize the details for a comprehensive system quote. In the end, Salem Heating and Sheet Metal had the best proposal, both in terms of price and specifications (you can’t go wrong with Lennox, and the specs were amazing). The services provided by Salem Heating and Sheet Metal, which included sales/quoting, system redesign, installation, and customer service/follow-up, were all outstanding. Additionally, Scott, who handled the sales aspects, secured an unexpected $2,000 rebate after the sale was completed, and Emily at the front desk diligently ensured that we received an additional rebate. We are thankful for the great job and excellent customer service that the folks at Salem Heating and Sheet Metal did for us.
