Jobin Construction did work for us a couple of years ago on a busy commercial parking lot in Scappoose, OR.
After trenching, they removed and replaced several hundred feet of drain pipe connecting the catch basins to a drywell, rock backfilled and repaved the trench.
Their price was fair and all work was done in a professional manner. We would certainly recommend them.

Adam resurfaced our old neglected gravel driveway with crushed asphalt. He fixed our puddling and drainage issues and it looks fantastic. He did a great job, was very easy to work with and responsive to my questions and concerns. I highly recommend him.

This review is two years after Capital Builders worked for us. They did the best for us. They did right by us. Everything was honest and straight forward. The biggest question will be, did it last? Yes. David made sure our structure (ADU) was safe, livable, approved by the city. Oh, and he had to jump through hoops with the city. Capital Builders did the job, and they did it right. They fixed all of the problems, he was on site so often to check that everything was at his standard, and did so much himself. If he didn't think it was right, he fixed it himself if the crew was scheduled on another project that day. Even on the weekends he would be out here when needed. Nothing happened without him speaking to us about it and providing options for our limited budget. Capital Builders will always be our #1 choice.

If I could I would give a negative review due to the fact that the owner still hasn't given me a quote and won't respond to emails so I just don't think they want the job even though I said I would pay cash. They don't seem to respect me enough to be honest and say they don't want the job. Pathetic customer service! Don't waste your time and money with these losers!

Capital builders has been amazing more than once. They have been responsible, respectful and diligent. They did a downstairs remodel and it was great. I will continue to use them and refer them to friends, family and anyone looking for a professional team.

The project delivery was excellent. David under-promised and over-delivered. His crew was punctual, efficient and very courteous. The final product exceeded expectations.

The Capital Builders team helped us out with several exterior improvement projects we had been struggling to complete, let alone, start. His team did work in 5 days that would have taken me 6 months (on top of the 2 years I've been sitting on them). Being in the construction industry myself, it was difficult for me to accept hiring an outfit to come in to do work that I can (theoretically) do myself (but not as well). But after meeting David, evaluating his quote (very fair) and considering his zero-pressure (solution-based, not sales-focused) and very concise modus operandi (no wasted words), I became absolutely comfortable with the endeavor.

The result from our experience is an eye-opening lesson in the value of time. Moving forward, I will now ask myself, "what will this duration of time be worth to me and my family?" Because unlike dollars, I cannot earn up lost time that could have / should have been spent with my family; especially since our kiddos (5 year old boy/girl twins) are only half way through the period of life where they still enjoy our company. And that element of time savings is really where we found the most value in Capital Builder's delivery. No worries. Accurate costs. Swift and strong delivery.

We have absolutely zero reservations about calling up Capital Builder's again for our next home improvement challenge.

David has been unprofessional. He decided early on that he didn't want our business and stopped responding for weeks on end. We asked for very specific estimates and he would never deliver an estimate to the spec of what was asked.

When asked simple questions such as what power of exhaust fan should be used, he insisted we pay $100+/hr for his expertise to even get an answer.

If he would have been up front and told us that he didn't want to work with us, the rating would be different, but the fact that we contacted him and he led us along for weeks to ultimately ghost us is frustrating. I would not recommend working with Capital Builders.

I can’t express how happy I am with the work Capital Builders that did on our house. David and his crew stepped into a nightmare when we discovered dry rot and termite damage to the back of our house of a scope we could not have foreseen. It was definitely nerve racking to face not only the initial damage we found out about, but how extensive it became. David was sensitive to how he communicated bad news to us as he kept us informed. Since the scope of the work was unknown, David charged man-hours instead of a flat rate which made sense due to the nature of this job. It was very difficult, though, not knowing until the end of the job what the total cost was, which, while it was higher than expected, was totally fair due to the top notch quality of work and attention to detail. Since man-hours were charged, updates to follow the costs would have better prepared us to know what to expect for the final invoice. David took pictures to share all the damage with us as he found it since we weren’t there during the day, so we could stay informed. David’s transparency and honesty was very refreshing. Because of his transparency, we completely trusted David and his crew with all the work that they did. He patiently explained anything we didn’t understand, spelled out where our money was going and gave us choices to keep our costs down. He communicated in a timely manner answering emails when we had questions. We found it worked best to get answers to our questions by keeping emails short and asking a direct question in the email title. There were a few extra things done free of charge for us which we were extremely grateful for. One project in particular went way above and beyond what either of us expected, but they saw it through to the end without hesitation or taking any compensation. David and his crew take pride in their work and it shows. Miguel’s dedication to his work and the quality of his work were admirable. Besides this huge month long job David did for us, we also hired him for two smaller jobs. In the course of one of those jobs, more damage was found on the front of our house, which David shared with us through pictures, that we also had him repair. This damage would not have been discovered if Miguel had not found it as he was caulking the rest of our house. I know repairing this damage now will save us from extensive damage in the future. At times, we were offered the possibility of Saturday work being done, which we agreed to. He has since re-sided the remainder of our house and it looks great! We had a hiccup with determining window trim that would work aesthetically for us and meet the builder's requirement to prevent future damage, but after much consideration and a lot of thinking outside the box, a solution was found. David sticks to his principles to ensure he can do the best quality work that will stand the test of time. I highly recommend David and his crew for repairs or any home projects or improvements!

David and his crew rescued me from a botched job (so embarrassed). They did not make me feel bad for having hired a dud. Instead they did a magnificent job! Always on time, clean, respectful, communicative and major attention to detail. David carefully researched products that would work for my house and budget. Hire this company. Doing it right will save you money in the long run, plus, you'll have a gorgeous finish. The job they did for me was to rebuild my deck, upper and lower, including framing. Plus they installed a new cable railing, super sleek. They also secured my spiral stair case, not a small thing. All of this was done on my floating home. I'm so happy with Capital Builders.

David and team at Capital Builders have been great to work with and have done a fantastic job, again! In 2020 they replaced our front entry door and side window, replaced all the supports under our second story deck, replaced the hand rails on our deck, and updated our kitchen to include some floor repairs, removal of soffitts, new cabinets, new countertops, new tile backsplash, and a new sink.
Fastforward to 2022 and the faucet at our kitchen sink failed, internally, and flooded our kitchen and down to the basement below. I did not hestitate to call David and ask if he could help. David was out within a day or two to view the damage and provide a quote. Since this time it was an insurance claim things moved a little slower. David understood our situation and was willing to break it up into smaller jobs as our insurance was slowly working our claim.
The crew is always curtiuos, professional, and timley.
I look forward to working with David and team on future projects.

We used David and his crew a few years ago to do our windows, siding, concrete patio and walkway, garage door and door opener and were so pleased with the attention to detail when we were ready to remodel the downstairs of our house including a major Kitchen remodel we didn't hesitate to go back to David.

David and Miguel have a very high standard when it comes to attention to detail and it really shows in the final product. Miguel's tile work is second to none and came out better than we ever hoped.

I would recommend David and his crew any day.

We had a stamped and colored patio put in by Wallace construction and it came out great! The crew was awesome. Highly recommend.

Wallace construction did an excellent job on my project, they were prompt, professional and highest quality, I would highly recommend them for any concrete projects.

Wallace’s concrete work is superior to most; they were collaborative when reviewing the plans. They arrived on time and delivered according to the specs. The project was extensive putting retaining walls where rolling banks had defined the property. They replaced all the sidewalks and driveway and added a rear driveway. The work was excellent in every way as was their follow up. Do request pictures of this job when considering this company. Mitch and his team lead by Jose and Tony are good and honest men you will not regret doing business with, I’m certain of that!

Wallace Construction Co. did an AWESOME job adding additional space to our backyard patio. Mitchell and his team were professional, great communicators, and helped turn our backyard into a great place for hosting. I would highly recommend them and definitely hire them again for future projects!

Wallace Construction was just who we needed for our old driveway removal and replacement. Mitch quoted me a fair price and i could see their work on there website.After excepting his bid they were able to start working on it in just a few days and was complete in a couple of days later. His crew was knowledgeable and polite.It looks great and much nicer than the original.

Wallace Construction removed my old concrete driveway and the sidewalk at the street and installed new concrete sidewalk and driveway. They started on time and completed the removal the first day. The second day the inspector visited the site and gave approval to place concrete. Early on the third day the full crew arrive and placed the reinforcing steel followed by the concrete. The crew was adequately sized for the job and they did an excellent job of placing and finishing the concrete. Today they removed the forms and cleaned the site. It was a pleasure to have Wallace Construction complete the work. Wallace Construction had excellent communication and superior coordination with the crew, myself, the permitting agency, and the concrete supplier. It would be a pleasure to hire Wallace Construction again.
