Gave them a job just under 7K, Had a crack appear about 14 months later, Most companies would take care of the issue, these guys send a quote over for 3500.00 to fix a crack and patch two 4" holes that I had made because I moved two smoke detectors. Of course i don't accept, ask to speak to owner, who never calls, and then the contractor who looked at the job claims I am harassing him by texting once in 8 days. Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere

USI JB Insulation did a great job with our home insulation. The installers were respectful, curteous and prompt! This is the best company to work with!

Brad was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was patient in answering our questions and caught attic insulation issues that needed to be addressed that our home inspector had not.

I used JB insulation to blow in some insulation a few months ago after my general contractor recommended them to me. What a huge disappointment! My house was wrapped in Tyvec, so when the JB insulation people came, instead of removing the staples and lifting up the tyvec to drill their holes, they cut the tyvek the whole way around the house in a 2 foot horizontal strip. Needless to say, the tyvek had to be replaced at a cost to me of $350 bucks. Stupid... even worse, they missed a whole section of my house which was revealed by an infrared camera. They had to come back out to fix it... But wait, it gets better. When they removed some of the tyvec they only put in a couple staples to hold it in place - so when the wind picked up, it tore off the house and then I had to take out the ladder in the dark while it's raining hard so I could staple the tyvec back up to protect my house. Needless to say, I would never use these guys again and I'd recommend you to find someone else to do the work.

I recommend JB Insulation highly. Rick (Richard Lock) came today to give us an estimate for insulation on our old uninsulated house. He is a person who immediately inspires confidence. He has a straightforward approach, and was patient answering our many questions. It was clear he knows his stuff. JB was recommended to us by an architect friend (not Donald L.) who used them on new construction in 2010, and was also coincidentally recommended by another industry person. I would definitely call them first.

We recently had our crawl space insulated and they did a great job! They were quick and efficient! I was skeptical at first because they did the entire space in just about two hours, when my husband came home he approved. They also got rid of old insulation and also wrapped our plumbing. I would definitely recommend these guys.

EDIT:
The manager of USI JB Insulation called me back the next day to apologize and offer a discount. They quickly rescheduled the install and made it happen two days later, first thing in the morning, to avoid another job running too long again. The crew was friendly and professional and our house is much more comfortable now.

Overall I'm very happy with the company and would hire them again even though it was a bumpy road.

The quote process was very professional, the rest was not good. A gentleman by the name of Brad came out to quote us on some crawl space and wall insulation. He was very responsive and professional throughout the process. Big fan.

However, once the quote was signed and turned over to the office and crew, everything fell apart. I never heard anything from the office after the signed quote and I had to call to find out when they scheduled the appointment rather than them calling me.

So on the morning of the install I called the office to confirm and they gave me a noon - 2pm arrival window. Well...no one showed up, and no one called, which was no fun since I cleared my day for it. So I called the next morning to drop the job and go elsewhere. Turns out the job before mine went long. Not a problem, things happen, but a quick 20 second phone call to let me know they weren't coming out would have secured my business.

If you are a semi driver beware lot is far too small and the dock for backing is blindsided with absolutely no space to maneuver pup trailers can dock no issue but a full size tractor trailer will not fit I have done many blindside backings with plenty of space but this is not doable. they don't have enough space!

JB insulation did a job for a basement remodel in May. Our estimator Paul Orlando was kind of incompetent. We gave our bank account information to pay our invoice in full in June. In November, 6 months later, we got a $2K+ charge for no reason. The company kept our checking account information and charged it with out any notice. The company just said that "corporate" made a mistake and it took over two weeks to get a refund. I cannot believe that a company would keep clients bank accounts and would access them without consent. I do not trust this company. Be aware!

The first left is the entrance. If you don't, you are gonna have to drive a couple miles down the street to make a u turn or find a place to back into and pull out.
Other than that, they have no sign telling you that the entrance is the first one you come across it's a pretty easy back, not the worst I've done, and unloading was good they finished rather quick.

Unloading time ok as other trucker reviews state very tight left turn into the entry way. (SWING AS WIDE AS POSSIBLE) Tight blindside back too you gotta jack knife the trailer in with the tandems all the way forward. Come by appt time only. There's only room for 1 truck to be in the dock and another waiting on the firelane inside the lot. You may have to park on the street or go around to come back in when they are ready for you. Difficult but doable. Good luck truckers.

We had a good experience with JB. They were the lowest quote, friendly, responsive, and flexible. We did a combination of spray foam and rick wool - the end result looks great with tight seals all around.

Called to get a quote for attic insulation in my home. The lady I spoke with said an estimator would call me back no later than the next day but I was never called back. Apparently they don't need my business. Moving on.

I had my insulation done by JB last June 2024. Floor and attic. Price was right, they came organized and customer service was responsive. I was satisfied with the result and my house was way more performant with heat/cold. Unfortunately I noticed the floor insulation sagging a year later. I called my rep, he offered to come (it s over an hour drive for him). It was easy to send pictures and explain what was going on. He sent a crew 2 days later. They worked diligently and explained the error. Problem was easily solved and no headaches. I recommend!
