Pell sent a crew to my property for a large removal of an Oak tree and pruning of my Locust. The first thing I noticed is the care they took for my property and how safety oriented they are. The removal went smoothly with no damage to my understory plantings. My locust tree is healthy and has never looked better! Thank you Pell!!

Pell Tree Company exceeded our expectations in every way!!! They provided recommendations, pruned several trees, cabled two of our trees, removed several very large trees, and ground the stumps. They had the equipment and skilled team to complete the job quickly and efficiently. They worked with great care lifting large portions of trees over our house as well as threading large portions of trees through other trees to get them to the curb. Daniel worked like an artist pruning our trees and was masterful along with his team while removing several of our very large trees. The results of his pruning turned out better than we imagined. The team was constantly cleaning up the area and left our property without debris each day with the exception of the large tree trunks that were hauled away at the end of the project. The entire company was very respectful and reliable. They left our yard looking better than when they arrived. As an unexpected bonus, we learned that Pell does installations, so Pell also replaced two very old yew bushes with two high quality Skip Laurels. We are very happy with the outcome of all of their work!

Pell Tree Company was excellent! They were super professional, were punctual and did a great job with removing several trees and stumps in our yard. The employees were friendly, and got the job done very quickly. They also did a great job cleaning up the yard area after the tree removal. I highly recommend their services.

After I spent several thousand dollars with another tree company, getting my huge oak and much smaller linden pruned of some dead wood, based on the recommendation of their "arborist", I noticed lots of bark peeling off the oak and exposing mushy  tree material under it, as well as several very large branches just falling down for no apparent reason - no wind or rain of any sort.  Chris came out and immediately saw that both the oak and the linden were quickly dying and there was no hope for them.

They are not the cheapest game in town, but they are experts and do the job correctly the first time around. Should have called Pell to begin with and saved myself lots of money.

I do have a follow up about the most recent time I used Pell. I still think that Pell does a good job in pruning and removing trees, however, I'm not happy about their chipping of the removed tree limbs. We have a circular driveway and their person drove their truck and the attached chipper right in front of our front door, sat in the truck and left the engine running while he was busy working on his cell phone. It was a tight squeeze, not made for a large truck and there were no branches to chip in that area anyway. After he moved the truck I saw several large oil stains on my, otherwise clean driveway. I pointed them out and one of the employees covered the largest one with dirt and said he would be back the next day to clean it up. I did notice some smaller spots after he left and immediately put Dawn liquid all over them. It was more like 5 days before he returned and although he tried to clean it up with his degreaser, it did not help much. Whereas the smaller stains that I had soaked with Dawn came out almost clean.

Until Pell gets their trucks and chippers fixed to not drip oil, I suggest you make sure that you rope off any areas where you don't want them to drive and you keep Dawn handy in case their equipment is still dripping.

Pell was so easy to work with. They were on time when I had an estimate scheduled, they were honest and very knowledgeable. We needed 16 trees removed and they did it fast and safely. I was very happy to work with Isaiah for pricing and logistics and Andrew for our plant maintenance. A few of our plants didn't look so great and Andrew knew exactly what was wrong and treated them immediately. We will be using Pell for all of our landscaping needs!!

i am very happy with the work your men did in removing my enormous tree.  They were highly skilled and used expensive cranes and equipment to insure there was no damage to buildings or roads on the property.  I appreciate that.  Although the contract stated "not responsible for damage to yard" or something like that (which I missed in reviewing the contract), the workers did repair the damage.

I contacted a few tree service companies for some tree pruning work. Chris Miller from Pell Tree Company showed up on time to provide me with a proposal which had everything that I wanted to have done, and their price was very reasonable. After comparing multiple proposals, I decided to hire Pell to do the job. I called the office and talked to Donna. She was very courteous and friendly, and the scheduling process was a breeze. The crew showed up on time and started the work promptly. But when they finished the job, I felt that the trees didn’t get shaved back as much as I had in mind. The crew connected me with Chris right on the spot and Chris told me that he would come back to assess the situation and send the crew back if needed to make us completely satisfied. He came two days later, talked to us to better understand our expectations, and quickly decided to send the crew back to do some extra pruning without any extra charge. Donna called the same day and schedule the crew to come back on the next day. They made sure that the trees got pruned to the extent that we wanted. Chris has told us that he wants us to be completely happy with their work and he surely backs up his words with actions. I’m very happy with my experience with Pell Tree Company, and certainly will use them again if I have any tree work that I need to have done in the future.

We have had several trees either trimmed or taken down by Pell. They always do a great job from the communications with scheduling to the removal and cleanup of the trees. Highly recommend and will continue to use them for all our future tree projects.

We had an amazing experience with Pell Tree Company when a large part of our tree landed across our neighbors back yard. After shopping around, their quote was 1/2 of the two other most competitive companies! They came the next day when the others were scheduling a week out. Their work was meticulous- not a leaf left behind! Even our neighbors who used to own a landscaping business were extremely impressed.

Pell Tree Service diagnosed a problem with my two crabapple trees---a fungus. They recommended three treatments and I saw an improvement after the first application. After three treatments my trees couldn't be happier! We need professional like Pell Tree to keep our landscapes healthy!

Large tree removal job completed professionally and efficiently. The office and team are good people and enjoyable to work with. Recently learned they can also handle landscaping and landscaping design, will look to use them in the Spring for those services and report back.

Pell donated and delivered a truck load of wood chips for my daughter's Eagle Project. It was a little out of their way but they were kind and helpful about it. Wonderful staff, wonderful service. Patty is terrific - very responsive, quick to follow up and so easy to talk to. Both John and Chris were great as well. I shared my concerns of several trees on my property and they gave expert advice on how they should be trimmed. On the day of service, Robert greeted me. We walked around my property to confirm what needed to be done. Robert was attentive, made sure he understood and communicated with the workers - so pleasant. We also walked the property afterwards to make sure everything was done to my liking. This is the second time I used Pell and they did not disappoint! Thank you!
