Appliance Repair reviews in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

Bernie was good; very professional. Five stars for the technician.
But — Zero stars for the HSA company.
You overschedule, you only offer an eight hour window, and there’s no live person to talk to.
You overbooked the technician and he almost had to cancel at the very end of the day after I waited for eight hours. -
We needed a Craftsman tractor/mower checked out, as the mower deck was not engaging, and an oil change was in order. Our technician was quite thorough in troubleshooting the issues, making sure a variety of parts, components, and the battery were in working order, and the repair and an assuring test evaluation were completed as rapidly as possible. Our tech was polite, he arrived on the early side of our appointment bracket, and gave several insights that should aid us with future maintenance needs. Thanks!

Suk was efficient, respectful and cleaned the area upon completion and he was fast.

We received very prompt service and were kept informed about the service provider's arrival. Paul was very professional and explained the problem with our ice maker thoroughly. He made the repair in a matter of minutes. We were very pleased with our repair experience and recommend Sears Appliance Repair to others.

John did a great job. Communicated when he would be there, showed up on time and got the problem resolved. No complaints on John.
I guess the only thing left me scratching my head was a rather expensive bill for 15 minutes of work ($226 with no parts replacement) -
James was great. Came in and immediately knew what the issue was and wasted no time. Thank you.

Our technician was wonderful. His name was Sal. Great with the dog, Great with the information, Would definitely work with him again.

They missed the first scheduled day and showed up the second time. Tech came and did not appear to have a clue. He looked at the refrigerator and called somebody without touching it. Minutes later he came back with a $1100 quote, new refrigerator is $700.

Marcus was great! He is polite respectful and got the job done quickly!

Service man Bob was fantastic however the customer service team left a lot to be desired. I waited 4 months for a simple oven repair all because Sears couldn't get the right parts out to me and constantly canceled/rescheduled my appointments.

Bryan provided great customer service. He was very efficient and fixed my dryer very quickly.

We submitted a service request for our malfunctioning oven. The technician (David B.) was brusque and did not even look at the appliance before starting to quote nearly a thousand dollars in parts and labor. When we asked for him to explain his reasoning or why he made the diagnosis he did, he interrupted us constantly with an explanation that came down to "Trust me" and "I have 20 years of experience." We then insisted he at least look at the oven before standing on his quote and diagnosis--he pressed a couple buttons, opened the oven door, waited less than a minute, and then regurgitated the same non-explanation. When we asked him to take any time to walk us through his reasoning before we committed to several hundreds of dollars of repairs, he became hostile, gruff, and even more unprofessional, staring me down. We had to ask him to leave because of his hostility and lack of decorum. I then tried to call Sears or A&E to report the surprisingly unfriendly encounter, but the call system has no humans on the other side, just an endless loop of AI chatbot. The customer service for Sears has greatly degraded, and I am disappointed to report that I will never use this service again.

Everything seem to be working better than it was. Thank you very much for your time and help.

Very reliable. Very knowledgeable, friendly. Cleaned up after his self. And explained everything to me of what was done. Which a Big Plus in my book. Would request him everytime.

Paul, our Sears refrigerator repair man, was great! Friendly, polite, and best of all, he knew exactly what he was doing and fixed our fridge in less than an hour. I highly recommend Paul.

The technician came to my home to diagnose my dishwasher. The technician could not diagnose the problem. He said it could possibly be three different parts. I would have to buy all three parts no matter what just for them to figure it out, totaling $1200. I called customer service and they would not help and said the diagnostic fee is not refundable. I told them they didn’t diagnose anything. They refused to help at all. I told them I could start the same scam business of charging people to come to their home and then just say, I don’t know what’s wrong but you can buy all the parts and we can figure it out eventually. This is a scam

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Our washer needs repaired so we made an appointment for 11/18 at 8-5pm. 5:00 comes Nd I tries to call 1800 number and there is no live person. It is a AI bot tells me the technician would be there at 7:00. It is 930 pm and no one showed up! No call email or anything just a big waste of time!

Paul was very professional. He explained the process and also gave recommendations for preventing issues. He did a fantastic job and was respectful to our environment.

It's been a horrible experience dealing with Sears. The entire system is flawed. The wrong parts were ordered for my washer. The technician, who was good, was at my house for 2 hours because he can't talk to people at Sears, he gets stuck on hold and in a perpetual loop.
New parts get ordered, Sears schedules an appointment to come back again for the 3rd time. But they never check with me to verify if this time works for me. It doesn't. I have been unable to change it online. Online gives me a number to call to talk to an AI rep. AI tells me I have to change it online. It's so very frustrating and I will probably cancel my home warranty over this -
Not great to be honest. LG range repair. First guy misdiagnosed and installed a part that did not fix the problem. The second guy took a stab at it and also misdiagnosed. Hired an independent local guy next and he diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes and corrected the problem right away. And unlike Sears that guy had parts on hand bs waiting days for the part to arrive. The independent guys rates were 1/2 of Sears. Ultimately Sears did refund me for the parts. But I was out the original diagnostic fee which was MORE than the repair + part of the independent guy. Lesson learned.
