I'd rate this Company 10 STARS if I could. Justin Jarrett and Whiting Services Heating and Air could not be a better choice for HVAC services of any kind. Professional and knowledgeable above all, friendly, courteous, responsive and great value for my money as well. There is no category I wouldn't award them the highest grade possible.

I had Whiting as my contractor and was ELATED by the service I had received almost a year ago. Imagine my surprise when I called again for another needed service and they remembered who I was. I needed additional work done prior to the sale of my home and also had to get my certifications completed for U&O. The staff was friendly, they explained everything step by step and were mindful and kept my home neat and clean. I can't be happier by the service we have received again. Thank you Whiting for another job well done!

The previous company I used left me unsure that their technicians really knew what they were doing. I'm so glad my neighbor recommended Whiting, Justin was awesome! You know you can trust a technician to do the right job when he takes the initiative to video tape the entire repair and post it publicly! Honest and well trained, I'd highly recommend Whiting!

Justin did so wonderfully on our job. He was efficient and thoughtful. I felt like we received an education. Before completing the job he explained all about the product, its purpose, and what it should be doing when functioning properly. He was extremely supportive and able to accommodate our needs. He was very neat, and cleaned up after he was finished. He was very professional. We will definitely be using his services again for our next HVAC job!

I met Justin more than 5 years ago and he has always been the person I call when I need HVAC work completed. From new systems and duct work to repairs and maintenance I can ALWAYS count on Justin and his team at Whiting Services. Professional, excellent communication, responsive, and punctual!

Justin was amazing to work with during this normally difficult project of replacing my oil heat system with an electric heat pump. He was extremely responsive with callbacks and text responses and was very thorough in going over all options with me and answering all of my questions. He and his team were extremely quick, the price was fair, and the new system looks and runs great. Couldn't recommend a better company and will definitely use them in the future.

I contacted Justin at Whiting Services, and he was out the next day. Had an issue with my mini split not cooling or heating. He identified the issue (leak in the refrigerant line), and quickly fixed it. System is working great now! Reasonably priced, and great communication. Would highly recommend!

I needed some HVAC and plumbing work when selling my house in Ambler. Justin and his plumber Steve were professional, friendly, and - most importantly - did great work at a fair price. We were on a relatively tight schedule and Justin worked us in and got the job done well within our schedule. I would definitely recommend his to my friends and family and anyone else looking for HVAC or plumbing work in the Philadelphia area.

I currently use Whiting services for seasonal maintenance on my HVAC system. Setting up appointments have been a positive experience, Justin's communication is very good. The scope of work is always very clear, price quoted is fair, and the work is always completed as expected. These guys aren't pushy when it comes to non-standard services, or putting you on the spot about an expensive repair. During the last visit they identified some patchy work that the last installer did on my system (that had been driving me crazy since I moved in to the house), and did a primo job fixing it!

Our oil furnace went down on a cold weekend. Justin was prompt and very efficient. He explained everything to me in laymen’s terms and did an outstanding job. Those thieves at another company I won’t say their name (rhymes with Verizon, starts with an H) wanted to charge us over 3 times what Whiting did the job for, and much quicker. We are so grateful that there are honest, trustworthy and quality driven people like Justin out there. Don’t hesitate to call the pros at Whiting!!

Justin and the Whiting Service Team are very reliable. I have used them numerous times for no heat emergencies to preventative maintenance. The service provided is always explained up front before the start of any work with fair pricing. Being a property manager for numerous historical properties it’s great to have knowledgeable HVAC technicians that can trouble shoot any problem they encounter.

Own a small handful of rentals in Philly and have used a number of companies before I started using Whiting Services. They are honest, responsive and stand behind their work. They are not the cheapest for sure (though prices are reasonable), but you definitely get what you pay for. I'd highly recommend!!

Fair pricing for a new boiler and hot water heater. On time, worked neatly and cleaned up upon completion. Worked through to completion. Would absolutely recommend. Installed heating system around the holidays and will have them back in the spring for a new AC unit.

These guys do great work at a fair price. They also won't sell you or upsell you any nonsense you don't need and are generally incredibly knowledgeable.

Can't recommend them enough - I've used them for multiple jobs and have never had a single problem. Justin in particular is great to work with.

Had them out to do some work.Had gas leak with some old piping. Pilot light would not stay lit either. Justin was awesome over the phone told me he'd be here Monday morning. They showed up on time! Lennon, and Shane were the technicians. Five-Star job. The guys were great. Answered all my questions. Did the work in a timely manner and cleaned up! Highly recommend!

Spring 2026 update
Charles REMAINS the absolute best when it comes to service and answering calls quickly. On the hottest day of the year so far, my AC goes down. I call the office, and Marie is able to send a technician same day. Elijah comes over, quickly diagnoses what is wrong, and fixes the issue in under 3 hours. In a day and age where everyone is price gouging you, Charlies Toto is an honest, affordable, and trustworthy business owner that you can count on.

Summer 2023
Charles is a lifesaver. At 10:30am on a Friday morning, my A/C stopped functioning completely. This was right before a huge heat wave was set to begin over the weekend. I gave him a call, and he came out to take a look at it 20 minutes later. It needed some obscure part that was hard to come by. He goes scouring for it all around town on his day off, and repairs my system as soon as he finds it. Charles and his colleagues are friendly, communicative, and extremely professional. If you ever have an HVAC problem, Charles Toto is your guy.

They fixed our ice machine and a cooler drink box, job well done !!
