I called Murphy’s plumbing based on a recommendation from two neighbors. Telephoned them this morning for a leak in my upstairs bathroom that was dripping into my family room.

The woman who took my call (Gia?) was very nice and got me scheduled for today. The plumber, David Wojciechowski, showed up and was very neat and professional in finding my problem, explaining the issue, and giving me the resolution and cost. A fabulous experience. I now know who I will always call first for any future plumbing issues. Murphy’s is the best.

I had Murphy's out to fix a faucet in my jacuzzi top that began leaking. They were very professional, showed up when they said the would, and got the job done to complete satisfaction. The service technician explained what and why he was doing the things he had to do in order to fix is and answered all my questions. I will definitely be using them again and have already recommended them to my friends and family members.

My husband called and talked to someone 2 times and stated both times that this is an emergency our bedroom air conditioner isn’t working and it’s going to be very humid and in the 80’s Friday and Saturday and he expressed how important it is that we have someone come out and said someone would get back to him it has been 3 days and still haven’t heard anything from the first time he spoke to them he called this morning and still no call back ! If I could I would give no stars!

We had the guy come out and diagnose our split unit they charged $155 and he told my husband it was a “deposit” and that it would apply to the installation which we decided not to go with Because they were charging over $700 way out of our price range ! He never mentioned a service fee or anything all he said was it’s a deposit ! Not only did he misinform is he also diagnosed it incorrectly and they will not give us our money back ! Very very poor customer service and my husband spoke to a manger ! I do not recommend Murphy’s in my opinion they are thieves !!!!!

I have been a customer for the last seven years and Murphy's always delivers. Every employee who has come to my house treats my kids and dogs with kindness. Today, Mike C was a rockstar installing a new AC unit in the attic. Very grateful for the professionalism and support. You have a customer for life.

Hot water heater went out Murphy plumbing was extremely helpful. Kelly who answered the phone was polite and was able to get a plumber out to us right away. Our Plummer was kind, respectful and informative. I would highly recommend this company!

On December 18or 19, a Murphy’s rep (possibly the owner) came to my house to see my HVAC system which I want replaced. He was courteous & knowledgeable. He said I would receive 3 estimates for 3 options by Monday, December 23rd. When it didn’t come, I waited until a few days after Christmas. Then I called the company to ask when I could expect an estimate. Kelly said she would send it that day.
Yesterday was January 5th & I still had no estimate. So, I sent a text asking when I could expect to receive an estimate. I understood it was the holiday season. I wasn’t asking for them to rush to provide me an estimate. I was only asking for an honest answer to my question. So, now it’s late January 6th, and I still haven’t received an estimate, nor have I received the courtesy of a response. —I was impressed with what seemed like the sincerity of the man who visited my home. But the follow-up has been dreadful. I doubt I will rely on this company to install new equipment unless they provide a plausible explanation for their lack of follow-through. I’m very disappointed. But in all honesty, this seems to be par for the course for Philadelphia area contractors. Very unprofessional.

I had a plumbing emergency where all the drains were clogged and water was flooding the basement. The technician came out within an hour at 10:00pm. The technician was SUPER friendly and courteous. I could not have asked for better service. I strongly recommend them and I will be using them in the future as our primary plumber.

We can't say enough good things about Murphy's. We had some complicated HVAC issues in an older home, and requested quotes from several different HVAC companies. Murphy's was definitely the most knowledgeable about the underlying issues, and came up with some more affordable solutions instead of just replacing the entire system. Their technicians were professional and super helpful, and went out of their way to reconfigure our HVAC to be more effective. I was surprised how many representatives from other companies seemed to be more salesmen than technical experts. When Murphy's came out to give us a quote, they sent someone who came up with options that the other companies never even mentioned. He was excellent. Ultimately, that saved us a bunch of money and a lot of headache. Their prices were fair, and their work was top notch. We highly recommend them.

We've used Murphy to tune up our HVAC systems for several years and always had a good experience. However, we had them out for a leaky toilet and it was a bit disappointing. The technician replaced the toilet seal and a few other parts (totaled about $300). After he left, we noticed he never replaced the supply line (even though it was listed on the invoice). He came back and finished the job, which was great, but he noticed that the leak was due to a hairline crack in the toilet reservoir and wasn't actually due to a faulty seal. He told us it would cost an additional $600 to replace the toilet ($900 total after our initial payment). We ended up picking up a $94 replacement toilet at Lowe's and even splurged for a nicer toilet seat. It took my husband less than an hour to replace the toilet. Not sure how Murphy came up with the $900 figure, but it felt egregious. Disappointed because we really liked Murphy before this experience.

On the suggestion of two separate friends, we called Murphy's to provide an estimate for a few plumbing jobs that needed attention: replacing an outdoor spigot, repair/replace our kitchen sink faucet, replace the garbage disposal unit, see what was causing a sometimes leaking issue from our tub upstairs through to our kitchen downstairs, and replacing the drain mechanism in our bathroom sink. Not only was Mike Rowe there first thing the next morning to look at each of these, he clearly determined what each needed, provided a detailed estimate, the option to purchase a contract (we did, which provided discounts to that day's work as well a walk-through annually to inspect plumbing throughout the house), and then was available to start the work right then. In a matter of hours, he had repaired and replaced all, always ready to explain each step. It has been such a pleasure to have these things working properly again! Thank you, Mike and Murphy's!

Great plumbing & air conditioning company! We have used Murphy’s for over 15 years and they are an exceptional company. They respond quickly to a heating or AC issue with highly qualified technicians. Office staff is friendly and responsive. We just replaced our entire system and didn’t think twice about who would do the job - Murphy’s! Kudos to Jeff who manages Murphy’s business with customers and to Mike who installed our new system. And to the office staff who told us about their 5 year no interest financing offer which made our decision to replace our ailing system a no-brainer! Call Murphy’s first!

Amazing service. Had a plumbing emergency at 9pm on a Saturday - Murphy’s had a talented technician at my door at 8:30am Sunday! Partially blocked main was pushing waste water back up into our basement utility sink - Celvin evaluated the issue, walked me through the steps and got to work. He had it cleared up in less than 2 hours! Slight problem, later that night, a small amount of water started rising again. Called Murphy’s, as they have a 90 day warranty, and they had another plumber out by noon Monday! Mike realized the obstruction just got pushed down and was partially blocking the entrance to the city sewer. Got it cleared in less than an hour and we are good to go - our plumbing is working great again. Can’t say enough good things about this company and their employees!

My parents are older, they called horizon first and were told they needed thousands of dollars of work. We had Jeff Goane at Murphy’s go out because he’s the only company we’ve ever used and he got the job done for thousands less and in exactly the time he said. He’s honest, reliable, his employees are as well.

As usual, Murphy's mechanics carried out their work in our home in a skillful and careful manner! Plumbing inspection and sink repair were made completely as well as skillfully. Explanation of service was made clearly at the end of the visit!

I had a garbage disposal replaced and installed by Murphy’s. The replacement was a standard series 5 half hp Badger which costs $114 at Home Depot. The cost to replace and install was $675 . It took less than 1/2 hr to install. I had no problem with the installation but find the cost very excessive. This company prides itself on Integrity Before Profit. I don’t think so .

Murphy's came out a removed our old boiler. They were curious and very helpful. It was quite the job to get get out of the basement but Mike and his helper were quick and cleaned up the area nicely.

Super service! They were on time, respectful of keeping the house clean, efficient in installing my AC unit and cleaned up after the job. I would highly recommend them for your HVAC projects. Thank you Murphy's!

Called Murphy's off others' recommendations to help out with our busted central AC unit. Scheduled a tech to come out who arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. After the tech put in the order for the part needed was told they would call me with ETA. Fortunately, their parts guy got his hands on it almost immediately and they were back out just a few hours later for a quick and clean fix of the issue. Jason (tech) did an awesome job explaining the issue and letting me know exactly what to expect. System has been running great since. From my call to schedule service straight through this was a great overall experience. Highly recommend Murphy's for quality & honest work. My wife and I will definitely be repeat customers!

Murphy's is always there when you need them! Today my ductless air unit was not working properly. Called the service line this evening and placed a request for a service call, figuring it would be Monday or Tuesday. 15 minutes later a tech called and said he would be right over. And he was able to fix the problem! So now my kitchen is cool again. Mike was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and quick to diagnose the issue. I'm so glad I have Murphy's to call!

Excellent company with skilled tradesmen. Highly recommend. Murphy’s helped me to recover from a renovation gone wrong. They are my go to from now on for everything plumbing, heating, and gas.

Murphys did a great job figuring out how to maximize our A/C functioning for either second floor alone, or for second and third together, when we entertain overnight guests. Mike and Ethan were thoughtful and courteous and left things in spotless order at the end of each day. They took special care to make sure that newly installed grills had smooth surrounds and didn’t look ugly. Kudos and thanks.
