Refused to have them serviced my heater, because they were charging $725.00 to replace a mother board on a HVAC. Then they bad mouth my company for not doing the service to the buyer's realtor. It was like going to a doctor and the doctor telling your neighbors your health issues. They are very unprofessional on handling private information. Shop around, they are not the only ones offering services.

Dave arrived at the appointed time and was ready to work. He was polite and explained what needed to be done along with pricing. Positive experience.

(FYI: Murphy’s On MacDade is no longer on MacDade or in Glenolden but in Broomall and it’s just called Murphy’s Plumbing. My only concern with this is that they may not service the Glenolden area because of the distance or agreements with other Glenolden HVAC companies - this is actual going on with cement/pavement companies.)

Aside from logistics of location, they do a good job and priced cheaper than larger, corporate HVAC companies.

I do like the personal touch of asking the customer to review their work when completed.

I have used them for tune up of central air and heat, work on heat and hot water heater replacement.

I will definitely use them again.

We had a clogged sewer line in my grandparents home with flooded bathrooms, basement and some of a bedroom. The water just wouldn't stop. When I explained my grandparents were 95 & 97 and I had to prevent them from getting sick they were their before me!! They did a wonderful job at a very reasonable price and were friendly and respectful to my grandparents ( neither one can hear and they follow and sometimes talk loud and over each other as they don't hear the other one talking) 😁😷

Mike c and Steve were awesome. It was so hot but they were able to install my new ac and my house is finally cooled dow. Awesome job guys

Called because of our AC stopped working on Sunday evening on a holiday weekend. Murphy's came out right away and fixed the problem. The price was more than fair.

Would absolutely recommend this company. As a matter of fact I already told my mother to call Murphy's for her AC issue.

Wanted 685$ to fix broken copper pipe. Basic 90 angle. Charged 85$ for service call. You have 5$ in parts and at most half hour in time.
These guys are gougers and tried to charge way way too much for basic 101 plumbing. Shame on Murphy's plumbing on Macdade. They certainly know how to write a bill instead of actually helping people with plumbing issues.

Had a clogged kitchen sink. Happened before .previous plummer had no problem . Technician didn't know what he was doing. Had to call for advice multiple times. Had to reschedule. A week later technician never showed up and no call until 10p.m...but did it myself in 30 minutes with a plumbing snake which I had to purchase. Still billed me for my deductible

Great plumbing service, fair prices, knowledgeable workers and a friendly call service. Tito who worked on plumbing job for me this past week is a great worker. You can see the years of wisdom and pride he does in his work. I am really happy with the overall service... Thank you.

So I had written a negative review previously. Company and I moved past this. These people are fantastic. I want to publicly apologize. Their tech was personable, kind, and came after hours even when I offered to reschedule.

Paul was friendly, thorough and overall wonderful to work with. They were able to come out the same day. Explained the process well and answered all my questions. He left the area clean and spotless. Would definitely recommend him and plan to use them again in the future should we need it.

We scheduled an appointment to get an estimate, and I was informed that the plumber would show up between 11am-1pm.

At 12:45, I call to ask for updates on the plumber’s arrival. The person on the phone reassured me they would be there, but they’re running late. The plumber never showed up, and I tried to call back to ask for an update with the plumber’s arrival. I was directed to an outsourced customer service which proceeded to hang up on me.

I cannot recommend this place. If you couldn’t commit to the appointment, the only thing I expect is that you communicate that.

WOW!!!!! Just had a service call by Mike; I cannot say enough about how kind, respectful and professional he was. The price for the job was exactly as quoted. He treated my home as if it were his own. He provided suggestions for future work, and completed work during major storm. In fact, he had to come out to the house twice since during the scheduled visit, I lost all power. What a great team! Thanks for the outstanding service :)

The best in the business. When you want all the boxes checked on how you want a contractor to work, Murphy's checks all the boxes. From workmanship to professional service. Easy to talk to and understanding the problems were were having. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Highly recommended company!

I have used Murphy's about 8 times in the past two years and they have been awesome every time! The guys that come to the house are super nice and they all know their stuff. Jeff the owner is hands down the nicest guy you could ever meet and the office staff is so friendly. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I called Murphy's when I got stuck with a plumbing issue when remodeling pur Master Bath. Paul came over, was super nice and helpful, and was determined to fix the issue as simple as possible so I could avoid additional work/cost. He did a great job, was very clean and I will 100% call Murphy's again if I ever need plumbing work in the future.

We recently used this company through the home warranty service. The most disappointed experience. 2 guys came over, evaluated the problem, told me, all fixed in 10 minutes. They Explained to me that the problem was from debris and dirt in our sump pump (we had gravel that was put by professional plumber 12 years ago during building of our house) and I need to clean the area. The only debris I found was this gravel. After both plumbers left, 10 minutes later I found that sump pump is not working. We tried to call the company and ask for plumbers to return and fix the problem. The plumber called back and suggested to come back for additional price. We had to contact our home insurance company and another plumbing company was used to fix the problem. I would recommend to stay away from Murphy’s plumbing company, they don’t stay behind their work.
