Rich came out to my home on a Sunday did a GREAT JOB!! The electrician that came out to my house before I call Filippone Electric tried to charge me $425 for a job that was done by Rich for $105.
Filippone didn't charge me up and they gave me some free good and helpful information about other potential problems in my home. THANKS ALOT Filippone Electric for your great service:)

I awoke one morning and when I turned on the kitchen lights they flickered and the switch sparked. I knew I needed an electrician. We have a plumber, but no electrician. I found the name of Filippone Electric in a local newspaper and telephoned them. I was unaware of it at the time, but I spoke to Mr. Filippone himself and he said that someone would be out to the house that day. We eat dinner early in my house, and when no one arrived by 3:00 P.M. and it was starting to get dark I worried. So I made dinner for my father and he ate at the regular time of 4:30 P.M. but still no electrician. I called Mr. Filippone and he was very apologetic: he even offered to come to the house himself that evening. However I told him that I could go one night in the dark. Bright and early the next morning a young man arrived (his name escapes me). Not only was he a highly competent electrician, but he was also very congenial. We also had him correct another problem ( a dysfunctional dimmer switch). This was back in May of 2016 and we have had no problems since. I have not had many opportunities to use electricians in the past, so I have nothing which to compare to this event. I can only say that it seemed like the price was very reasonable. And there is one other thing. We have had many contractors in our home over the years. And none of them ever did what Mr. Filippone did several months later. One day he simply called to more or less say "Hello" and no one ever did this before. I think they place a lot of emphasis on not only quality work but good customer relations. To paraphrase the late Siskel and Ebert, "two thumbs up" for Filippone Electric.

I was so happy with the service i received! Rich called before he came, showed on time, and explained everything to me before he started each area of work. The price was extremely reasonable for the amount of work done. I highly recommend them. Rich even took the time to show me my scorched receptacle. I was lucky i didn't have a fire. I called last night around dinner time and Rich was here first thing this morning. I will definitely be calling them again when i am finally able to remodel my house!

Al Filippone Electrical Is "TOP NOTCH" I owned A Pizzaria and had them wire and install interior Ambiant lighting and outside security Lighting as well. These Guys did everything perfect and Clean I could not be happier. I will use them and recommend them to my Friends and Family in the Future

I was in the process of updating my house prior to selling it and I noticed I needed an electrician. I called Al on short notice after normal working hours and not only did he answer my call, he came right out the next morning to fix my electrical situation. His was in and out. Very punctual and neat. If you need an electrician, give Al a call.

I recently bought the house I had been renting when of course my electric acted up. Al and his team were great. They were very responsive and worked tirelessly to make sure tbe work was done right. I will definitely be using them for future repairs.

We've used several different electricians over the years and finally we found the best. He's on time, great crew, and worked great with us during some surprises, all at a very fair price (no ridiculous $39 fee). I own a dry cleaning business in Southwest Phila.
I needed a reliable electrician to get the work done on time. I called Al Fillippone electric at 7:30am, Mark and Fletcher came over 9:30am, the exact time they promised.
They assessed the problem and gave us an excellent priced quote.
Mark and Fletcher came the next day ON TIME!!(actually little earlier).
Finished the work within 4hrs and did an absolutely incredible job. No wonder they are in business for so long.
I highly recommend them, very professional, efficient and honest. Thank you Al for incredible work ethic.

I recently hired Filippone Electric to remove and replace all the century-old knob and tube wiring in my 3-story row home in South Philadelphia. I could not have asked for a better experience. The nature of the job itself was daunting, but the owner Al and his crew Mark and Fletch made the entire process much easier (and CHEAPER) than expected. Al helped me by providing advice and suggestions throughout each phase of the project, from the type of materials that should be used to the placement of new fixtures and outlets. Mark and Fletch did a beautiful job re-wiring my entire home, from the third floor ceiling fans to the basement circuit breaker. Everything was installed up-to-code, and most importantly, everything works! The job was very intrusive to the structure of my home, but Mark and Fletch did a great job cleaning up as they worked each day. The crew was always on time and worked under my allotted time constraints to get the job done. After working with the guys from Filippone electric for almost a month’s time, these guys are like family. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done, for any sized job. Filippone is reasonable when it comes to the both the job and the bill. Absolutely no complaints from this happy customer.

Al Filippone, of Filippone General Construction and Filippone Electric, installed a new ceiling fan in my dining room. Al's nephew, Joey, came to do the install and was very polite and informative. Asked Al to come by our new house and check things out. I found him to be very personable, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable concerning all aspects of the electric systems of our house. He was more than fair on his pricing, and his workers were on time and took good care of our house regardless of whether we were present or not. Could not recommend him to any greater degree!!

I am a very happy and satisfied camper. I will recommend and utilize their services again. They were punctual, polite, and professional. I was given an unbelievable estimate. I had some serious problems, my microwave oven and my central air system, with cause power outages. I also had some faulty receptacles. They upgraded my circuit breaker box, replaced all receptacles, overhauled my complete air/heating system. They cleaned their work area, like a job as never been performed. Had Al and his electrician Doug install a new 200 amp service for my property.
They were both great to deal with and Al's pricing was more than fair.
He didn't upcharge on materials, labor was done in the time they allotted and communicated well w/me during the project. Good people and job well done. Will use again.
