Highly recommend Cathy, Shark and crew at Apolinar Roofing. Thorough estimate with pictures of proposed repairs. Shark and crew were friendly and answered all of my questions. Shark sent pictures daily of progress. Crew cleaned up my yard each evening and when job was complete. Cathy helped me with material and color selections and kept me up to date on progress. Highly recommend to anyone looking for roofing contractor.

Great experience working with Apolinar roofing and I would highly recommend them. I want even home, Shark (his nick name) came the following day to take care of an urgent matter, to replace a drip edge. When I shared the pictures before his arrival, he gave me a price but when he actually saw the work he cut the price in half. Very honest pricing! He sent me the invoice via email along with before and after pictures and I paid online. One cannot ask for a more seamless process! Thank you again!

Apolinar Roofing did a fantastic job on my home - new roof, new gutters, downspouts, soffit & fascia. Very efficient, organized, & informative - I got pictures of everything they did as the job progressed. They got the job done in spite of uncooperative weather conditions, & made sure everything was cleaned up after the job was completed. Shark is very knowledgeable & professional. TEN STARS!

Out to give an estimate. I got on the schedule and shortly after had a leak water was getting in. I informed them and they sent a crew out that day to patch it to stop the water until they could replace the entire roof.
They had an opening a few days later and came out ahead of the time i was quoted todo the roof. They shared a link where they updated photos and videos along the process to that status with over 300 images/ videos taken.
They weren't done before sunset but they stayed and finished up in the dark and it started to rain while they were cleaning up but they finished the roof and gutters all in 1 day.

My flat roof was long overdue for a repair. I had been going up every year myself to patch leaks, but it was becoming a losing battle. I called fived different companies to receive estimates on the roof. Most of the companies did not meet with me in person. Most looked at my roof on google. One sent up a drone, but it was a salesperson and not the roofer. Only Shark came in person, with a ladder, went up on my roof, and talked to me about what needed to be done.

His prices and estimate were totally fair. He noticed things that I knew needed to be done but other companies did not include on their quotes. Him and Cathy talked to me about every decision regarding my roof, was patient with any questions I had, and included detailed pictures. They also shared an incredibly useful photo timeline of all the work.

Given the condition of the bricks under the coping on my roof, I am sure I potentially saved a huge amount of money by going with Shark. Other companies did not even suggest removing the terracotta coping. It’s clear that water penetrated the coping, completely destroyed the mortar beneath it (in my structural brick home), and was consistently entering the roof decking. In addition to laying down a new roof, the Apolinar crew did a neat job of rebricking and installing a new metal coping.

The Apolinar crew clearly takes pride in their work. They also cleaned up extremely well every day. That sort of thing makes a big difference. Couldn’t recommend more.

Awesome experience from start to finish! The communication was excellent — they kept me updated before, during, and after the job. Any time I had a question, they took the time to answer and never made me feel like I was bothering them. The crew was friendly, professional, and did great quality work. I’m really happy with how everything turned out and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing roofing work!

Shark and his crew did great work. He's very responsive to communication. Punctual. Provides photos and drone scans during the entire process. Fairly priced as well. Definitely recommend these guys for a new roof. He also gives a guarantee where he will come back and fix something if it goes wrong.

AMAZING! Apolinar Roofing exceeded all of my expectations. Cathy and Shark stayed at my house on the day of the estimation until dark showing me samples and explaining what I was missing on my roof as well as how they would fix it. Shark literally crawled up the very narrow side of my roof to inspect it. I knew I had a small hole up there where shingles were missing and he patched it up at no charge. Even if we decided not to use him for a new roof he gave me a free patch. This company is simply amazing and my new roof is beautiful and expertly installed. Our decking was not in good shape and although we're paying more for the installation of new wood, the proof of the awful condition of our roof lies in the 308 photos I received throughout the 3 days that work was being completed. I actually felt like I was on the jobsite while I looked at the pictures while at my own job. Clean up was amazing, the attention detail is outstanding, Oscar and Joe and all of the other employees are amazing and I am very thankful that I found them. I can't express again to anyone reading this review the next level that this company is on. The roof of my house is the thing protecting everything inside. Apolinar will make sure you are well protected. I have 308 photos to prove it.

Apolinar replaced our roof in August and they did a wonderful job. Shark gave us a really thorough quote with detailed descriptions and photos, and of the 4 contractors we reached out to, his was by far the most thorough, and it was the best price. The guys that did the work were all very nice and super hard working. We are so happy with the result, our roof is beautiful and the siding and window well replacements look amazing. I would definitely recommend Apolinar to anyone!

Apolinar did a great job with my roof and gutters. Shark spent about an hour at the house to develop the estimate including going onto the roof and inside the unfinished attic to see what the decking looked like. He found issues with drainage and leaking gutters that i knew about but nobody else addressed in their estimate. He also took time to explain how they approach the work.

The hard-working crew (they didn’t outsource our work to another contractor) worked through some snow and cleaned up every day, including sweeping for loose nails. They shared photos throughout the day and Shark kept me well informed as the job progressed. Their focus on doing the job right left me feeling like I made a great choice to hire them.

This was the best home project experience we’ve encountered…every step of the roofing project was explained and all costs justified. We got real-time photo updates of the roof replacement, offering complete transparency to the project. This is an honest, highly professional, hard-working business that should be a model for all other contractors. Please consider them for any roofing or gutter work…I cannot recommend them enough!

We are extremely pleased with our new roof and are very happy we chose them. It made a huge difference working with the actual contractor, and not just a sales person. We got 7 estimates and over half didn’t even get up on the roof. Shark took his time and actually did an examination of both the roof and attic. He is extremely knowledgeable but no high pressure sales at all. His crew were very respectful and did an excellent job cleaning up. Cathy was very friendly and helpful in keeping us informed with timing and schedule. They also provide a link so you can follow the progress. We figured there would be some broken or rotted boards which there were, but they were quickly uploaded to the link so we could see for ourselves. Getting a new roof is very stressful but Shark and his team were the best and I can’t say enough good things about them.

Highly recommend Shark and his team. From the very beginning, his process went above and beyond what we experienced with other roofing contractors. Our initial concern was a small pinhole leak, but because of the age of the roof, we wanted guidance on whether to repair or replace. One contractor sent us a bid without ever visiting the house. Another looked in the attic and did a drone flyover, then immediately pushed for full replacement.

Shark, on the other hand, personally came out, thoroughly inspected the roof, and walked us through detailed photos of issues with the shingles, gutters, and ventilation. He even fixed the pinhole leak on the spot—at no charge—and explained it would likely hold for another year, though he still recommended replacement based on its overall condition. His honesty, thoroughness, and work ethic made a strong first impression.

We later learned his business is truly family-owned and operated—not the typical subcontractor-based setup with only project manager from the company you hire. That personal touch showed in every interaction. And to top it off, his bid came in lower than the others.

Once the project began, Shark and his team worked efficiently, communicated clearly, and delivered great workmanship. Cathy and Shark kept us updated throughout, and their cleanup was meticulous.

What really stood out, though, was the follow‑through. After the job was complete, Shark stopped by again on his own and noticed a downspout that he thought might rattle in the wind. It wasn’t something we had seen, but he proactively had his crew return to fix it.

Again, I would highly recommend doing business with them. They deliver quality work with a personal touch that’s hard to find.

This review is overdue, but after two months of rain, wind, and heat, I can say with the utmost confidence that I could not be more satisfied with my decision to use Apolinar Roofing. From the moment I put in a request for quote, I was dealing with the owners of the business. Shark, the co-owner was out to my house that evening to give me a detailed estimate. It was clear that he knew the work, not just sales. They were able to start work as soon as the materials arrived. They were prompt and worked hard all day. Every night they cleaned up the yard and made sure the roof was fully waterproof for the night. Shark kept me updated throughout the project and gave me a lot of informed recommendations on how to get the best bang for my buck. At the end of the project, Shark met with me again to ensure I was fully satisfied. I’m pretty sure the crew left my yard in better condition than when they started! I love my beautiful roof. It was worth every penny. In the best way possible, you can’t tell any work was done. It looks completely natural and like it has always been on the house. Some of the siding and gutter work they did as well looks spectacular. I’m sure it will be a long time before I need another roof, but the moment I do, Apolinar will be my first call.

My house is small but the roof is complex. I needed a new roof decking (dry rot), shingles (20+ years old), gutters (too small), flashing, boots around the vents, ridge vents (didn't have any), and ice/snow guard. The job took 2 days.

The guys worked fast but were methodical. They were also very polite. They cleaned the site in-between days. When I walked out the first evening after they'd left, I couldn't tell they'd been there.

I highly recommend Apolinar. I have a friend that recommended the them to me and I'm so glad I listened to her advice.
