I highly recommend Frontier for roofing jobs! They came in at a great price and did great work. They were also way more transparent with their estimates than the other companies.

Frontier repaired leaky gutters at two commercial properties I manage. Great inspection to identify the problems and a solution. Great communication from the tech, including recommendation to increase number of gutter hangers, which I approved and had implemented during a single visit, with many photo to show before and after. Highly recommend.

Outstanding job. Frontier Contractors LLC showed up on time and completed the new flat roof quickly and efficiently. The crew was professional and the work is outstanding. I would highly recommend Frontier!

We were contracted as a subcontractor on one of CHC jobs. He never paid us for the job we did and doesn’t return our calls.

I am a commercial contractor in Mobile Al. where Pete aka CHC enterprise. was adding a loading dock to the old Kmart store in shopping center, they contracted to hire my crew then left state saying check was in mail and they did not send it after using my crew to complete job, I will be taking legal action against this crook. I would recommend CHC Construction to everyone! They rebuilt our driveway in the time they said they would, and we are thrilled with the results! Tracy kept us informed as the work was being done. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

These guys just installed an exposed aggregate patio at my home and I’m very impressed. Pete came out, saw the project, quoted it, fit us in EARLY and his guys took out all the pavers and poured the patio. Professional, friendly, but most importantly knew what they were doing and did a great job..thanks CHC!

I had Dekorcote applied over my concrete patio by CHC Construction. Installation was not perfect and Pete failed to make it right in the remaining good weather months. Now it's January and I see a huge crack in the Dekorcote. I called Pete to report this problem and followed up with sending him pictures. No word or follow up from him as the weather warmed. I called and got Pete to come see the problems in early May. It is now October and no word from Pete. Do not use this company as they do not care about you once they have your money and their work is sub-par.
UPDATE May 2019: finally came to remove the Dekorcote in August 2018 but never returned to reinstall. Called Pete this spring and asked for my money back or a different product. Pete agreed to do stamped concrete. Yesterday they did the work and another sloppy job! I think the workers he sent to do my job had never done this kind of work before and they finished quickly, sloppily and fled before I returned from a doctor’s appointment. I don’t know how the other reviewer with stamped concrete got such a perfect job and mine is a mess. Also they never came back to seal the concrete. Please save yourself the nightmare I’ve had and use another company!

CHC construction widened my driveway and did a versa lok wall for me. They were very friendly company. The company cared about me as a customer and the owner, Pete, showed up on the job daily to make sure the work contracted was being done in an efficient manner. I was very pleased with the overall job and will plan to use them for future work.

~~Note to consumers considering a heated driveway~~
This review is for consumers considering getting a Heavenly Heat heated driveway. I 100% do not recommend it! Put your money into a top of the line snowblower as it will last longer and come with a real warranty.

A Heavenly Heat driveway was put into our home in November 2017. We didn't move into the house until February 2018 so it wasn't used until the 2018/2019 winter. It worked fine that year and the 2019/2020 winter until it broke in December 2020. That means it worked for a total of 2 winters.

The heated driveway cost $7,400 and when it was pitched to us it was with confidence that it is a great product, will last a long time, issues under the concrete are very rare, and it comes with a 25 year warranty from Heavenly Heat. When the driveway broke we were told the warranty is irrelevant since it 'technically' worked already. And once concrete is dug up there would be no way to determine if it is an installation issue or manufacturer defect. So not sure at all what the 25 year Heavenly Heat warranty is even for and why it is even sold with it.

While CHC did set us up with an electrician to look at it, the electrician couldn't identify the problem with any level of confidence. And their estimate to investigate options as to why it may have broken started at around $1,000.

If you are truly considering a heated driveway make sure you get an installation warranty for the work for at least 5 years and budget for an additional 50% for likely needed maintenance.

Again, money would be much better spent on a snowblower!

We are giving this 3 stars because CHC has done satisfactory work for us, but they installed a product that it doesn't seem they stand behind. At the end of the day, they are the ones who received the check for the heated driveway and for the installation work.

These are good people. They clearly communicate on the work being done and the schedule for doing it, provide a well-written estimate, willingly answer questions, and deliver quality work. They show up, or (very rarely) when they cannot, they always explain why. Once the project was complete, they stand behind their work and deal with any remaining issues. The workers were professional, efficient, and thorough. We have received a LOT of unsolicited compliments on the completed work.

CHC just recently installed a new driveway and sidewalk for me and we LOVE it! Pete, Tracey and their crew were top notch. Great group of people....very professional, friendly, hard workers. I would recommend them for your concrete needs. I will call them for any future work we may have.

We found CHC at the Pittsburgh Home Show in spring 2019 and hired them to install a concrete driveway, walkway, and front steps to our new house. They were easy to work with, arrived on-time for the estimate appointment, and were able to complete the work exactly when they said they would. They did a great job; everything looks very nice. Would absolutely recommend them!

Had a lot of concrete work done around my house. Huge retaining wall for a parking pad rebuilt and side walks all the way down, two cement pads poured, plus a flight of steps in the front. The guys were awesome! So nice and informative! All my work was done promptly and everything turned out amazing, I couldn’t be happier. They also gave me the best bid out of any other contractors that I had look at the work. Would highly recommend and would most definitely rehire again for any of my concrete needs.

I just want to say that the only downside of our project was waiting for it to begin, but with things being back ordered and rain days with an outside job, it is just the new way of the world. Tracy was very communicative about all aspects of the job.

Once our project got started, they did an amazing job. They were efficient, fast, and put in full days. They showed up when they said they would. The guys at our driveway were helpful and kind. They did a great job of cleaning up their work areas and our new driveway pad looks amazing. We did have a little wait, but it was worth it for the quality. I highly recommend you give them a call and get on their list for next spring!

CHC replaced our old and failing paver patio with exposed aggregate. The job was completed in 3 days and it looks amazing. My wife and I are very pleased with the result and are looking forward to enjoying our new patio this year.

From estimate through completion working with Tracey, Pete and the crew was easy and trouble free. The only issue, echoing someone else, was the delay in starting – all out everyone’s control. And even that worked in our favor as we were able to upgrade from plain concrete to exposed aggregate – well worth the extra.

I heartily recommend CHC for any concrete work you may need.
