I have been a customer of TruGreen for 14+ years and have occasionally not been totally satisfied with their overall results. This past year has been completely positive with their willingness to renovate my property back to 2023 conditions. Last Summer I had a large area dug up to replace a leach field issue - yard was substantially affected by drought - and then had a major grub infestation in the Fall. This was all a result that was out of the control of TruGreen. They listened to my concerns - promised me to renovate - and stayed true to their promise.

I've had Tru Green for about 6 years. The treatments over time have eliminated the crab grass and other weeds, not completely but 95%.
This year I have decided not to renew. They increased my fee by over 25%. What they don't realize is that their year price increases loses customers. They didn't seem flexible to negotiate. Good service but keep the price reasonable!

Aaron was very professional and thorough in servicing our yard. Highly recommend him.

ALVIN G is the best shrub and tree technician at TruGreen.
I’ve had ongoing issues with TruGreen’s shrub and tree treatments—either technicians wouldn’t show up as scheduled or would claim they completed the service without even stepping onto my property.

However, ALVIN G is exceptional. He’s knowledgeable, hardworking, and thorough. I truly appreciate the quality of his work and professionalism.

I hope every technician at TruGreen could be as good as him, and I would like to request that ALVIN G handle all of my shrub and tree treatments moving forward.

Jerry McDonald arrived and came to my front door. He was very professional and explained
that he was here to fertilize around the trees and shrubs. Thank you Jerry.

Specialist Scott Kendall was very thorough and knowledgeable about all aspects of my requested and required lawn care needs. Out of all the different techs that have worked my lawn, Scott was head and shoulders above them all.

I’ve been fairly satisfied with the lawn maintenance for two years however, I recently received a message that we had Japanese Beatles and spider mites. We don’t have Japanese Beatles or spider mites. So clearly, this message was from someone who never saw our lawn and was just an effort to buy unnecessary services

My customer service reps have been excellent. Today Shannon helped me to understand the upcoming schedule. She was an excellent customer service rep. Also, today the application specialist, Keir Johnson, was THE BEST tech that has ever walked our lawn. THE BEST. We want him for all of our services. Keir Johnson.

The person you had here doing the irrigation and seeding was an asset to your company. He did a great job. He was very courteous.

Just had a lawn service done and I want to take a moment to give a shout out to my service technician William H.

William does a fantastic job every single time he services my property. However, today William went above and beyond. Upon completing the front lawn application he went to the back to begin working. Upon entering the back lawn, William saw our dog out on a tie out. Unfortunately no one answered his attempts at the doorbell so he left the property as not to endanger the dog. This was totally our fault. William proceeded to call me and explain what had just transpired. Although he had a lot of work to do, William came back to my home and finished the application after the dog was brought inside.

I am stoked that William cared enough to return on the same busy day and finish the application. He went above and beyond what I would expect and I want to publicly commend him for his diligence, work ethic and attention to detail.

I switched to TruGreen from TLC and couldn’t be happier. Really appreciate the proactive communication and the app is very useful. They did my initial application and things looked great but I thought maybe a couple weeds didn’t get sprayed. They came back quick and addressed them no hassle and no charge. The app tells you when they are coming, when they get there, when they leave, and a nice summary of what was done. It’s early in our relationship but so far I am smitten

Did not alert before they came today. I work from home and was in an important meeting. Dogs were barking, yet, doorbell was rang more than once resulting in nothing but chaos for another visit that is less than 4 minutes long. Feel there is minimal effort to this service

I want to put another plug for TruGreen. I recently complained that their tech came out but didn't give us a notice of what he sprayed, and usually they do, so I wasn't sure they even came out. No problem, they came right back out in 2 days and sprayed and left the note I expected. I appreciated just being heard and served without being questioned or objected to. Also, my lawn has never looked greener. It's a such a joy that's really hard to quantify, like the feeling of a cleaned room or a made bed or an organized desk... a great lawn just feels good. Thank you TruGreen for giving us that feeling. 👍

Trugreen asked to be prepaid for their summer services. They did not tend to our yard right, missing half of it . We have more weeds now than ever. After a couple complaints, they did send someone out. Today a young man came and said he couldn’t do anything. They go off of their iPad . If the work wasn’t done, and the iPad info says it was; you are screwed. Even if the guy’s looking at numerous weeds. Save your money. Go elsewhere.

I would have made it lower but was unable to, I signed up last year and at the end of the season i told them I did not want the service anymore. I get phone call this week saying they were coming to spray for weeds and mosquitoes and I did nothing thinking it was from last years 1 year contract. Then I got charged $127.00 on my cc. So I called and was told it was my fault since I let them do the service.
They are a big rip off

Jerome, A is very knowledgeable and gave us the service we need best for our lawn. Jerome is also very personable and takes the time to explain what is going on with our lawn and took the time to speak with my wife and myself. Graig our old lawn care technician will be missed but, we feel Jerome will do an exceptional job and look forward to years with Jerome.

Specialist OSHANIEL D is conscientious and responsible in lawn care work, as well as honest and reliable. The quality of work performed by true green on lawn and shrub care has improved significantly compared to last year.

I have been a customer for many years and the past 2 years I have noticed a decline of my lawn. This year has been the worst. I have called to have them redo their services with no noticeable difference. The last time they sent a man with a tank on his back and he spent all of 10 mins. my yard is big and there was no way he could have treated each weed (and there are many still). VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Will be cancelling my service for 2024. Pictures to follow. Also, I would think after 3 phone calls they would send someone out to check lawn. No customer service.

I thought hiring trugreen would help our lawn and get rid of the clover and crab grass. They did the exact opposite. Our lawn has never looked so bad. The grub control did nothing, so they came back and retreated. Then they aerated and seeded twice now, and on the second time around the machine ripped up sod everywhere from its tracks leaving behind craters in our yard. The seed never took with diligent watering. Never again will I use this company, I feel they owe me my money back for what it’s going to take to fix my yard now.

If I reach out for a quote, and get said quote, I don't need 5 text messages, 3 voicemails and someone showing up at my door - and ringing the doorbell despite the "No Solicitation" sign. There is salesmanship, and there is a line that it becomes harassment.
